
SoFi Center preps for second season of TGL

Tiger Woods will celebrate his 50th birthday with a charity event at The Breakers Palm Beach.The “Red: Celebrating Legacy” event will honor three decades of his TGR Foundation.Proceeds will benefit the organization’s TGR Learning Labs for youth in under-served communities.The guest list includes celebrities like Justin Thomas, Michael Strahan and Arthur Blank.
Tiger Woods is making a birthday month out of January with an exclusive party at a historic Palm Beach resort.
Woods, who turned 50 on Dec. 30, and his TGR Foundation will host 300 guests at The Breakers Palm Beach on Jan. 14 at the “Red: Celebrating Legacy” event, which will honor three decades of the philanthropic organization as well as his recent birthday.
According to Front Office Sports, the event will feature a VIP list including billionaire Arthur Blank, NFL Hall of Famer Michael Strahan and golf major champion Justin Thomas. Jon Bon Jovi is expected to perform.
“We definitely could have made it bigger,” TGR Foundation CEO Cyndi Court told Front Office Sports. “But we also wanted it to be intimate so that we could celebrate people that throughout the years have made tremendous commitments to Tiger’s vision of what could be possible in the future.”
According to the TGR Foundation’s website, proceeds from the event will help to benefit the organization expand its TGR Learning Labs, which aim to support young people in under-served communities with education, opportunities and experiences.
Ernst & Young LLP, a global professional services firm, will serve as the event’s official presenting partner according ot the TGR Foundation.
