How do the developers decide what equipment and brands are ranked in terms of quality and howgood they are ? Matt mentions Shimano XT & XTR being good. Does that mean CODE RSC brakes are not as good? And how do SRAM feel about their brakes not being the best? To avoid this, you could just have Shimano brakes in the game, but does that mean if you don't have XT or XTR, you have unbranded brakes? Obviously, I'm only talking about brakes, but this applies to all upgradable components and actual bike manufacturers like Scott, GT, etc.
So, in the end, the best bike you can get in the game is a Marin with all of Matt's sponsored components?

The game looks similar to Descenders but with hopefully a way less harsh learning curve. It also looks way better than Rider's Republic but that ain't hard. I'm really looking forward to playing this!

I have a marin Elroy it’s my dream hard tail, I can not wait the 6pm!!! I’ve couldn’t get enough of riders republic & Descenders but like Matt Jones said it’s nothing like riding a bike from what you know of this is amazing
