  1. Everyone wants to drive a golf ball 300 yards but the be all and end all of it is if you ain’t able to achieve a club head speed of 105mph + then you have no chance at all!

If you do have the club head speed then it all comes down to technique!

My pb club head speed is 135 and I have a ball speed of 200+ but I have no technique!!

Golf isn’t something you can just become the best in the world at! You’ve either got the ability or you haven’t!

It’s like all these YouTubers saying I can go from a a 24+ handicap to a scratch golfer in a year?…

It’s impossible, it’s like saying I want to be an athlete sprinter and this time next year I’ll beat Usain Bolt!!! No you won’t it’s practically impossible

  2. Jack Nicklaus used to raise his heel off the ground. I tried that but I got better results from taking that step forward.

  3. I video tape golf swing of my buddies – yes – through the ball – hands are too far on the target side. Can’t hit the ball far. Your assessment is correct. Thanks.

  4. What I do is I pull my hands down steeply, I don't stiff arm on the way down. I start with the hips, then pull my hands down hard and an angle that when I get to the release point they have NO OPTION but to change direction, like in the shape of the pointy end of an ellipse. When my hands hit the release point they stop travelling downward and start swinging fairly abruptly in front of me. That's the braking, but without doing anything special with your hands, you don't have to "hold" a lag because you weren't swinging the club, you were just pulling your hands down. That creates a very strong whipping action with the club head. Lots of people liken it to chopping the base of a tree with a axe, and that's a very good analogy.

  5. For the last move where the front foot jumps and pulls back, I think Scottie Scheffler is the best at doing this.
