#1 Bucket List Golf Course

This is my #1 bucket list golf course in the world! Cape Kidnappers is located in the beautiful Te Awanga, New Zealand. This is Episode 2 of 4 from my trip to New Zealand. My goal is to break par for my 4 rounds in New Zealand. Hope y’all have a great week and enjoy the vid!

  1. I am very sorry for the high pitch frequency sounds throughout the video. Unfortunately things like that happen sometimes when filming by yourself. Hope you enjoy the vid 👊

  2. Zac, glad you got to play your #1 bucket list course and it looks amazing. Great play and a great vlog!

  3. Reminds me so much of a heathland course in the UK in summer, what a bucket list course, it’s certainly on mine!

  4. Great video Zac and keep up the great work. I watch many of your videos multiple times and never tire of your content, swing and positive attiude. Well done.

  5. I have always wanted to visit that beautiful country. And Zac, you travelled over 9000 miles and you're hitting your #1 bucket list course…you are entitled to at least ONE mulligan! Jeeze. 😃 Great video and good job on a tough course you saw for the first time! Who are we kidding…even a round of 100 would be worth getting to experience those views!!!!!

  6. Loved the video Zac. I love New Zealand courses. You played a good game on the course. Gets really hard when the wind picks up

  7. Excellent round! An absolutely stunning course with breathtaking views. I've seen pictures of the course but the video just blows them away.

  8. The conditions of that track are absurd! Fairways are like greens so perfect to flush irons off of. Greens looked like velvet. But for $739 NZ it better be pure!

  9. Fabulous round! Your short game was super sharp and you got a lot out of the round. A couple of questionable tee choices and no stingers! Thanks for posting.

  10. Just another fantastic video my man! I’m super stoked you filmed the around the same time I was there, allowing me to relive these amazing courses. Can’t wait for the rest!

  11. Zac I played there in 2013, so impressive. Doak excelled himself. It’s a course where you use all 14 clubs, that’s skilled architecture. The views are stunning, looking back north to Napier, I’m aching to get back there. Nice playing, you had your short game dialled.

  12. Roster Ringneck Pheasant. Very prevalent in the US Midwest. Not as much as they once were but still fairly prevalent in the ag states.

  13. Also played here once…Shot my Hcp so cant complain and similar to you, we had a great weather to boot. It would be a tough track if the wind got up

  14. Great video. As a NZ resident have played Cape K once, you made it look easy! Awesome course, slightly off the fair way and you are in all sorts of trouble if you can even find your ball. Epic views and an amazing course. Your short game is very strong on this course. Well played and pleased you enjoyed the NZ courses.

  15. I played there in November last year, it was fantastic but very expensive. There were unused Titleist golf clubs available for rent. I also played on Kauri Cliffs, it's similar but different.

  16. Great course and you caught it on such a mild day! I've played it before in windy conditions – quite the challenge! Cape Kidnappers is like those golf hole fantasy calendars and it would be "Big Sur CC" on steroids.

  17. 1 of 365 days! No wind couldn’t have picked a better day! Course is actually wide without wind. My favourite course in the world

  18. The reason for so many birds is that there are no natural predators of birds in NZ – no snakes, no big cats, no native dogs, no bears, no native mammals (except for fruit bats) and until the arrival of humans, no rats, mice, no mustilids…and all native birds are protected species😊
