  10. I’m not a Cobra hater, I’ve played them. To me this product looks cheap – at least on camera. OPTM is a terrible name. Here is a list of better names it took me 60 seconds to create: Viper, Black Mamba, Diablo, Lucifer, Copperhead, Toxicity, Venom, Colmillo, Quadratus, Ophidian.

  13. Love the content James….but…. Please stop pushing the Full Swing Kit launch monitor. As an average golfer which probably most of your subscribers are, I could only dream of spending £6k on a launch monitor. I like that you can look at numbers etc but how about looking at something a bit more affordable (sub £700.00) for the masses.

  26. Hi James I bought the Cobra darkspeed last year and have never hit so many fairways in all the years i've played golf . I don;t understand why Cobra is so overlooked they have always made some of the best drivers and at a decent price .

  28. I don't know why people get so bothered by the name, the reality is when I'm stood on the tee and my mate says "What you hitting?" I don't say Ping440K, Cobra OPTM or Taylormade Qi4D I say "I'm gonna smash Driver mate" and he knows exactly what I'm gonna do

  30. I play the Cobra LTDx . Very consistant accurate driver for me. The box store I bought from the kid gave me a 999.00 driver and said all the best golfers are playing this one! What! I am not one of the good golfers. The club maker came over to me and said, "Do you hit it in the middle every time? No, I said. He said wait here as he took the 999.00 driver. He came back with a Cobra LTDx driver with 3 different shafts. He spent an hour of his time with me till he got me fitted. He said I make clubs as well and this is the only driver in here I would recommend. It's been the best driver for me. I am 70yrs old now.

  31. Great info BUT let’s wait until all the key manufactures have released their 2026 products, then and only then a fully comprehensive detailed review will give the key answers we look for.

    Best still let them all be reviewed individually by different handicap players for a more honest review, eg 0 to 9, 10 to 18, 19 to 25 and then greater than 25 handicap.

    Let the players decide rather than be led ….!!

  34. Interesting that youtuber comments now start about not really liking last years model. I think there is another embargo date this month ‘yes you can slag off last years model so we can sell the new one, but not before January 14th.

  37. Good review James,I know you said you thought it was just another driver you had to test virtually being discerned but to your suprise you enjoyed playing it,have you ever had a driver were you were not looking forward to reviewing it due to it being hard work to perform anything special?? 😊

  38. I'm sure 2025 the new drivers were " longer faster straighter" 😂😂😂😂 …cobra do make a good bit of kit but are people buying them 🤷 Titleist gt range is now £499 people and now that range is gooooood I'd be all over the Titleist 2 year cycle so fitters still have them

  40. James… Final Putt is running that video of you using the Swing Plane Pro and I'm pretty sure you aren't using it correctly. You have it horizontally and it's supposed to be vertical like the "Hanger."

  42. I have the DS Adapt X and I gained distance with it last year. Probably not making a change this year but the X as the best for me last year during fitting closely followed by the GT2. The other 2 brands I tried weren't close.

  46. Man… I really don't think I can watch any more of your videos because of the camera work. Not being mean – really trying to help you out. I had to stop watching because I felt car sick – and I am a professional pilot…! Zooming in/out, focus going in/out, moving constantly, you are trying to move the clubbed when up close to show things and the camera guy is moving the camera trying to show..; well, I don't know what. My eyes hurt, my head hurts, I am not getting anything out of the information because the camera work is really screwing with my head. Sorry guys, I like the content but can''t take the packaging.   48. Cobra should do two heads with weight distribution options, one a draw driver the other with the ability to make the driver into the type of driver that suits most golfers. Weights front back, left and right, will enable fitters to fit everyone, The low spin option can be achieved using the weight distribution options. I have the older Radspeed, and it still puts many drivers to shame, both in forgiveness and distance, and I'm a senior golfer. My grandson can bomb it past me, but I'm on the fairway, he is long left or right, in the semi or rough. That's why my handicap is lower than his, and he smacks his driver around 340yds, with tremendous speed at 17yrs old. I can be 100 yds behind him at times, but hey, I make pars and bogeys, he can make eagles, when he gets on most par 5's in 2, with driver 6 iron, but not every time. Still nice to watch and reminds me of me, when I was in my mid/late 20's, bombing it like he does. Cobra do make some tasty drivers and deserve being given more market share. They need to attack more with price point, given the mega expensive options from the leading brands. They did it in the past and it paid off, with the old yellow favourite F9 and the speedzone that followed it. Is Bobby under contract with a holiday company, the amounts of holidays, he could be like Judith Charmers, in the Sunshine, showing holiday options for the masses, and those who can afford and take the time to holiday as ofter as Bobby. Fair play Bobby, life is short, and seeing the World if you can is something most of us would do too, if the opportunity afforded it. Is literally Jame's new favourite word Bobby, like his famous well known potentially !😅🤣😂
