Very interested in why he is switching to Cavity Backs in the short irons. Can you guys ask him?
I love that Rory swallowed his pride and switched to CBs. There isn't a human being on this planet that needs to play blades….. even Scottie would improve if he switched to CBs….. blades are just entirely unnecessary, and i am sure we will see the improvement in Rorys ball striking this year be quite substantial.
It's crazy how much he loves that 4 iron though!! You aren't getting that thing our of the bag!!
Modern swings are no longer suitable for blade form. Ball control face control is fully possible with cavity back.
Its wierd to see a pro like Rory using cavity back game improvement irons.
