David Duval appeared on Golf Channel Academy in late 2016/early 2017 to talk about his famous strong grip and why he likes to keep the ball more forward in his stance compared to other players on the PGA Tour.
When he puts the club paralel to get slightly strong grip. i see he holds it in the bottom, bottom of fingers like in the tips of the fingers almost then rolls hand over. Tried it and for small hands like i have. It felt comfortably lose and now the left is speed power and the right controls. Club goes faster. Its like a controlled whip.

Duvall was a great player, one of my favorites.
