  1. There's been a lot of talk about whether Bradley should pick himself for the team. If you compare Bradley and Cam Young, I think the choice is clear.

  2. Should be an honour to be picked to be captain and bradley shouldn't worry about playing. US has enough good players.
Is kind of arrogant to pick yourself to play too.

  3. I think that the “hot hand” has to be taken into account up to a certain point. Ryder cup points accumulate over two years (I believe) so some of these guys have stacked up Ryder cup points from good performances 18 months ago and are playing in a slump right now and that carries into the Ryder cup. If it’s a close discussion between players then RECENT success should be a contributing factor. Not to mention that power and course knowledge SHOULD contribute as well. I think Gotterup and Young are two young, powerful hitters with good recent success that we could ride that momentum into the Ryder Cup

  4. i like Ryan's points earlier about Capt. Keegan not really needing to be there now (even if the Travelers was only 6 weeks ago; not 3 months). i think it is an interesting play to challenge an inexperienced team. as much as i don't like the fact that Finau, Cantlay, Berger, and others haven't stepped up, IF form continues then why not sprinkle in Gotterup and Young instead of Keegan. Both of them might look up to Keegan more than the established stalwarts. controversial i know, but Morikawa is in almost no way a lock on my team now. i do like what i'm seeing in Clark however.

  5. Keegan is playing. Barring some awful play in the playoffs. He is far superior and would be trusted way more with the cup on the line than some of these bubble guys. Young wasn’t even really a factor on the bubble and 4 days at a course not at all like Bethpage kicks Keegan out?

  6. Need some guys that can send it. This is Bethpage it does not cater to shorter hitters. Cam JT Gotterup are three I would pick to balance out JJ Russell Harris

  7. How is winning the Wyndham Championship suddenly something that qualifies you to be in the Ryder Cup team? By that token, Brian Campbell should be a lock since he won TWO PGA Tour events.

  8. Winning at River Highlands is nothing like winning at Bethpage Black. Style of course needs to be considered. Who has the best game for The Black is what matters.

  9. Gotterup and Young should make it. Keegan and Cantlay should make it. Morikawa should be left off. He's not been good at all the past 3 months.

    Morikawa
    Griffin
    Cantlay
    Keegan
    Young

I’d want to put Reed in for someone, but I’m not sure who.
