TaylorMade Qi4D Fairway Woods Review | Tour vs Core vs Max

TaylorMade Qi4D Fairway Woods Review | Tour vs Core vs Max

Ryan tests the new 2026 TaylorMade Qi4D fairway woods, sharing first impressions, key tech and how the Tour, Core (Standard) and Max models compare. Ryan sets each club to 15° and tests with the KBS Tour Graphite (TG) Black shaft, breaking down launch, spin, ball speed and dispersion – plus provides insights into which Qi4D fairway metal could be best suited to your game.

The Qi4D Max is built for maximum forgiveness with a single weight setup, the Qi4D Standard/Core is more compact than the Max with an adjustable weight positioned closer to the face to help manage spin, and the Qi4D Tour targets better players with a more traditional compact head, low launch/low spin performance and three adjustable weights. All three models feature a new improved cut-through Speed Pocket to boost ball speed and control spin, plus Twist Face to enhance forgiveness.

  1. Thanks for the video! If I was fitted into the Qi35 Tour 3 Wood (Mitsubishi Kai’la Blue 75g) back in November 2025, will I likely see the same or similar results if I went with the Qi4D or should I get re-fitted to make sure?
