Frozen Tinman Golf Outing returns to Hart | News

Hosted by the City of Hart, the 4th Annual Frozen Tinman Golf Outing returns Saturday, Jan. 31, as a winter tradition that blends outdoor fun with community spirit.

The event takes place at the City of Hart irrigation property at 1774 W. Polk Road and features a nine-hole golf course played entirely in the snow, with teams using tennis balls instead of traditional golf balls.

Teams of two to four players are welcome, with participants able to walk the course or ride using golf carts or ORVs.

Registration begins at 1:30 p.m., and the $35 per-player entry fee includes three tennis balls and entry into a raffle. The outing also includes prizes, hot dogs, chili, music and a bonfire to keep participants warm.

New this year, golfers and supporters can purchase a limited-edition 4th Annual Frozen Tinman sweatshirt for $35, with orders required by Jan. 11 to guarantee timely delivery.

Sponsorship opportunities are available at three levels, with additional event and registration information available at https://www.takemetohart.org/event-details/4th-annual-frozen-tinman-golf-outing.

Bundle up, grab your clubs, and enjoy a winter round that’s become a Hart favorite… IN THE SNOW!
