Jon Bon Jovi received Walk of Fame honors from the Count Basie Center for the Arts in Red Bank.
Jon Bon Jovi gives birthday parties a good name.
The Sayreville-born rocker will perform at Tiger Woods’ exclusive 50th birthday party Jan. 14 at the Breakers in Palm Beach, according to Front Office Sports.
The party will be attended by 300 of Woods’ closest friends and the dress code stipulates “a touch of red” for the evening. The menu will be based on Woods’ five Masters Champions Dinners, which includes the “Augusta roll” of sushi, as served at the Augusta National Golf Club in Georgia in 2020.
Guests include fellow golfer Justin Thomas; caddie Joe LaCava; football player and TV star Michael Strahan; and Atlanta Falcons owner Arthur Blank. Woods is currently dating Vanessa Trump, the ex-wife of Donald Trump Jr.
Woods, who turned 50 on Dec. 30, has battled multiple injuries in recent years, including back issues and a ruptured Achilles tendon.
Bon Jovi, who has a home in Palm Beach, has played private events in the past, including multiple Apollo in the Hamptons benefit nights on Long Island to exclusive audiences which included former New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie in the early 2010s.
Bon Jovi performances have been rare in recent years as the singer has battled vocal cord issues. He underwent a procedure called medialization, which provides support to a vocal fold that lacks either the bulk or mobility (or both) that it once had.
Upcoming is the comeback Forever Tour, which includes nine shows at Madison Square Garden in July and a handful of shows in the U.K.
The band Bon Jovi released “Forever: Legendary Edition,” a new version of the 2024 album “Forever” with guest vocals from Bruce Springsteen, Lainey Wilson, Jelly Roll, Jason Isbell, Robbie Williams and more, on Oct. 24.
