HONOLULU (Island News) — First Tee — Hawaii has opened registration for its first youth programs of 2026, offering children and teens across the islands an opportunity to build confidence, character and life skills through the game of golf.
The youth development organization invites kids and teens ages 7 to 17, using golf as a platform to teach values such as resilience, self-confidence and smart decision-making. Trained coaches lead the sessions, helping participants grow socially, emotionally and academically in a supportive environment.

Programs will be offered on Oʻahu, Maui, Kauaʻi and the Big Island, with sessions beginning in January and February at multiple golf courses statewide.
Some locations will also offer “Scratch Club” sessions, designed for returning participants to apply their skills on the course while focusing on course management, teamwork and having fun rather than perfecting their swing.
