Rory – The best driver there has ever been on the tour. Look how consistent his flight pattern is with a high draw to get the most distance in a contest like this. And, I'm sure he had another gear or maybe two if he needed it.

this was part of a team golf skills competition with captains scheffler and mcilroy squaring off as part of the long-drive competition. each had six balls to hit in 2 minutes, here are the results:
scottie–306, 261, 308, x, 302, 308
rory–318, x, 302, 324, 324, 326.
rory won the head to head matchup.
Rory hits the driver waaaaaay cleaner than scottie
Who won?
Nobody even knew this event happened. PGA has horrendous advertising and public relations.
I don't know what the outcome was, but I would put my money on McIlroy
Rorys shots just mode powerful but also v consistent, he's a beast off the tee when he needs to be!
