Cecil has long worked with 2nd Swing master fitter Tyler Fitzel for an iron fitting in the past. As a Mizuno iron player, Cecil is particularly interested in testing the new Mizuno Pro S-1 and Mizuno Pro S-3 irons in this iron fitting.
During this video, 2nd Swing master club fitter Tyler Fitzel conducts a Tour Van iron fitting for Cecil Belisle. They try a variety of different clubheads, shafts, and lie angles before settling on a final setup at the end of the iron fitting.
I get asked like what’s the hardest fitting? The hardest fitting is generally a for me a player like yourself because it’s not about me and the equipment anymore. It’s about your preferences. It’s about what you feel, what you see, and what the type of feedback you get. >> Yeah. >> Right. Because essentially we basically hit what four different irons up there. Um your club, couple other clubs, same shaft, different shaft. You basically get the exact same result >> pretty much. >> I mean, yeah. And this this also speaks to the consistency, right? So a customer comes in and they’re inconsistent. That’s where that equipment can really really help because I can >> it’s all right. Well, let’s do this. And if we gain some consistency, huge jumps. >> Okay. And that’s that’s a really really big part of that process.
