Okay, Seahawks Vikings game. The Vikings find themselves just down three points late in the half. Let’s pause it right here. Fourth down and one. And hey, if they can punch the ball in, they can have a lead as as pretty heavy underdogs against the Seattle Seahawks team. So, they’re going to decide to say, “Hey, let’s be the underdog. Let’s not just take the three. Let’s try and score. Even if we don’t convert, at least we’ll pin them, you know, deep in their own territory, right?” So, the quarterback takes the snap. This is Max Bromer. He is a uh undrafted rookie and this is not the situation you want. Uh this is, you know, uh Lawrence is all over Bromer in this spot. Good play by him. Ultimately, not a lot Brosmer could have done in this situation. Just finds himself in a tough spot. So, this isn’t his fault. However, this is it’s just a desperation heave because it’s fourth and one, but there was just nothing there. Even if that was caught, it would have been well short of the first down. Uh yeah, I mean just uh sort of a panic move and ultimately it gets intercepted and returned all the way for a pick six. So now, you know, uh I’m sure when Kevin O’Neal dialed it up, he thought at least if we don’t convert, you know, it’ll be they’ll have the ball, you know, pinned within their own five yard, you know, behind their own five yard line. Instead, it’s a touchdown. Well, yeah, that’s that’s what happens when you’re playing a third string quarterback is usually not great

it was KOC fault for not running the ball in the first place not Brosmer fault at all it is a huge problem for the past two to three years KOC refuses to run the ball when it matters.
Why is the coach calling a pass play with a rookie and undrafted QB in that situation? That is horrible coaching!

All I read preseason was how great the Vikings were going to be with this young coach. They were going to be running guns well. The only thing I've seen so far is quarterbacks. They can't throw for more than 100 yards completion in a whole game and then probably throw a three, four, five six interceptions also. I hope that they feel good about writing him his check this week for being an NFL player

This is a good play from Max. If the ball is turned over on downs, Seattle have a chance to control the ball for the rest of the half and score seven. This way, Max gets the ball back and he knows he’s going to go right down the field and score 6 and then get a 2 point conversion. Max gives up 7 points to score 8
What’s with these young QBs and not throwing the ball away? Cam Ward was awful yesterday. He kept running around with the ball by his waist as if it was a 🥖. Sherdur Sanders from I’ve read holds onto the ball way too long as well.
I love JJ, but the Vikes need to trade him for 2 first round picks (which he would command, easily) and then move up and draft a QB. And not some 2nd/3rd round "talent" like McCarthy, who didn't have to do much of anything at Michigan to win games.
