In this episode, we break down the intricacies of a powerful golf swing. By analyzing the golfer’s takeaway and minimal wrist hinge, we discuss how these elements contribute to a closed club face and efficient hip movement. We also examine the crucial transition phase, emphasizing the loading into the back leg and firing off the front leg to release the club with extra power.

And uh a lot of that is in his takeaway. And you’ll notice as he starts to go back, he’s not henching his wrists. It’s just a nice easy takeaway to about P2. You notice the club face is closed. And uh that’s all in part of his his golf swing to allow him to really fire his hips through. Now, as he’s working the club up, you’ll notice that the wrist hinge is very minimal. You’ll also see that the wrist is very flat. All making that club face a little more closed. Now, with this loading you’re seeing in his back leg and dropping probably about you can see his head dropped about half halfway, he’s really loading into his his back leg about to fire at his front leg. Now you’ll see he really starts to sit down here in the transition and working towards really releasing that club as he fires off that front leg, giving him that extra Power.
