Saturday night main event, you’re mine. Because you’re next. >> Speaker 2: Now,
as a future legend myself, I wanna put the spotlight on
the legends in attendance today. And look at the legend we’ve seen already. >> [APPLAUSE] >> Bill Goldberg. >> Speaker 2: I’m really happy
we can meet in that fashion, because I wanted to clarify something
you might have seen a few weeks ago. What I said to Bret that you’re
a childhood hero of mine, that’s not true. I mean, let’s be realistic. How can the greatest wrestler on that
earth right now be impressed with a one trick pony like you? >> Speaker 1: No, guys. No disresp, no disrespect. I’m just busting balls. But the following thing is
actually serious advice. I’m your son, Gage. Man, I really hope for you that Bill is a better father
than he is a professional wrestler. >> Speaker 1: No, come on,
Bill, don’t do this. What’s he gonna do? Come on. No.
Cory, get the hell out of the way. He’s gonna get Goldberg’s way. Goldberg has just climbed the barricade. Come on. They got security out here now, Bill. Come on.
Bill, that’s enough. Bill, Bill, Bill, Bill, Bill. Adam Pierce is down here. And this situation
getting pretty nasty now. And the courageous champion now went for
a slee. >> Speaker 3: Gunther out so quickly. And then one of his own. You ain’t getting out this. Yes, you are. >> Speaker 1: And Jey Uso trying to
Gunther face first into the turnbuckle, kick of his own. Jey, Spare! Does Jay have anything left? >> Speaker 3: Well,
it didn’t work the first time. Gunther softened up for good now. >> Speaker 1: Now Jay heading up top. Uso with an Uso Splash. Nobody hold, right to the bad ribs. And that could prove costly for
the champion. >> Speaker 3: That was as close as you’ll
ever get to a scream from Jey uso. Involuntary an outlet for
this massive amount of pain. And my God, the Hux are in cold. >> Speaker 1: Yeah.
The constrictor like maneuver here by Gunther. Now he just puts the full weight
of his body on top of uso. Look at how the arm is slipped underneath
the chin into a choke as Jay now tries to make it to the bottom rope. That would force a break if Jey hang on. Can Jey uso hang on. Gunther drags him back to
the middle of the ring. Gunther with a sleeper still applied. >> Speaker 3: Again, no way out of this. Perhaps for Jay. He’s desperately scrambling with
everything he’s got, Gunther. [CROSSTALK] on there. >> Speaker 1: Yeah, but Gunther pulled
him back to the center of the ring. >> Speaker 3: Yeah,
he didn’t have a good Grip on that rope. Certainly not good enough
to break that hold, yeah. >> Speaker 1: And again,
that just drags Uso back down to the ring. Jey USO center of
the ring could be fading. Gunther’s got his entire weight
wrapped around the body of jey.uso. jey trying to fight back. The champion trying to stay in this. >> Speaker 3: This audience
willing Jey back into this. Do something please, Jey. >> Speaker 1: USO trying to fight out. But his eyes look like they’re beginning
to roll into the back of his head. Jay, does he have some fight left? Jay trying to stay in this. Jay trying to fight back. Jey trying to make it to the ropes. >> Speaker 3: All the while that
carotid artery is being squeezed shut. >> Back to a vertical base for Uso. But Gunther drags him back
down on the mat again. And that could be the last gash for
the world heavyweight champion. >> Speaker 3: Can Jay stay
Fading rapidly the eyes of Jay. >> Speaker 1: Yeah, but
how smart is Gunther? Wait a minute now. Uso with a Sleeper. USO with an opportunity
somehow staying in this. >> Speaker 3: I don’t know how uso’s
got any power left in those limbs. >> Speaker 1: All out adrenaline for
the champion. Gunther’s now fading. Shades of WrestleMania. Shades of Wrestlemania. Will The Ring General tap? Will USO retain here? Is Gunther gonna tap out
again to Main Event Jey Uso? >> Speaker 3: His way out of there again. >> Speaker 1: Gunther
able to slip underneath. And now the well-placed elbows to Uso. And now Gunther again wraps it in. And Gunther now wrapped around
the body of the champion. Does Jay have anything left? Anything left? >> Speaker 3: So much taken out of Jay. The eyes surely faded now. Must be a million miles
away from those ropes. There’s no fight left, Cole. >> Speaker 1: Cold Jay
has nothing left in him. And it doesn’t appear trying to somehow
slip out of this sleeper by Gunther. Jay Uso’s out. Jey Uso is out. I believe he is out. Gunner becomes the new world champion. Here is your winner and the new world heavyweight champion. The R. Well, the expression on the face of the new world champion says it all. He knows he was in a fight tonight. A massive fight with a very game and
valiant, courageous Deo. But at the end of the day,
Gunther is once again, for the second time in his career,
a world heavyweight champion. >> Speaker 2: I heard all the rumors. I heard all the chatter
about what’s next for me. >> Speaker 1: No, no, no, no, no. Definitely not that guy. I cast him out in front of his family. He learned his lesson. I don’t care about rumors. >> Speaker 2: I care about the reality. And the reality is that Seth Rollins
hold some money in the bank contract, and I got what he wants, so Seth let me. Talk directly to you. A few weeks ago, you said to me, when I win your World Heavyweight
Championship bag, I’m a target. So.
Well, since I’m a target, I want to make it very easy for you. I am right here. So don’t waste no more time. [MUSIC] Thank you. Don’t be confused, Gunther. It’s all good. It’s all good. Because tonight is your night. Tonight, I’m here to celebrate you winning
the World Heavyweight Championship. Because I’ve been there before. I understand how proud you must feel. So congratulations. Just wanted to put a little note
on tonight and tell you how proud. >> Speaker 2: I was of you. >> Speaker 1: You know what, though? One thing before I go. A few months ago, you started something
with me and my family in Atlanta, Georgia. And I am gonna make sure that
I end it in Atlanta, Georgia. July 12, Saturday night, main event. You’re mine. >> [APPLAUSE]
>> Because you’re next. >> Speaker 1: Yeah. >> Speaker 1: But you take that. Bring it back. The rumors are true. >> Speaker 2: What is it about Gunther
that puts you in this type of mood? First and foremost. Did you expect anything less of me? Did you think there was any way
I was gonna let that slide? Zero. Exactly. I take my family to a WWE event. As a bystander, as a fan, trying to relax, no stress. Don’t have to worry about who
I’m wrestling that night. Don’t have to worry about anything. Just gotta go have fun. And I step into a verbal
assault from Gunther. The lack of respect from him that I saw
that night was pretty unbelievable. It was astonishing to me. Did he embarrass me in front of my wife? Absolutely. Did he embarrass me in front of my son? No question. Did he embarrass me in front of my fans
and my adopted hometown of Atlanta? 100%. So there was absolutely no way I was
going to let him get away with that. I didn’t know when. I didn’t know where I was
going to seek my revenge and introduce him to who Goldberg really is. Whether it’s a 58 year old man or
a 28 year old man, I don’t care if I’ve got
one foot in the grave. Nobody’s ever going to talk to me
like that and get away with it. So yeah,
he embarrassed me in front of my family. And so as I’m vying for
my retirement match and wondering who my opponent’s gonna be, I thought it was quite serendipitous
that he stepped up and pretty much put himself into that spot. I think it was a logical choice
because he ain’t getting away with it. As long as I’m breathing and as long as I can step foot into that ring,
I am going to make him pay. Michael. I am going to beat the out of Gunther. Saturday night’s main event. >> Speaker 1: Last week was
supposed to be my celebration. Me celebrating regaining
what’s rightfully mine. The World Heavyweight championship. But instead, none other than
Bill Goldberg walked down here, looked me straight into the eye,
and told me that I am next. So I did a lot of thinking. I thought a lot about
what it means to be next. Usually, being next means getting
speared out of your boots. Jackhammer. One, two, three. And wake up. Looking at the lights. Bill Goldberg is the most
destructive man of his generation. But it is not 1999 anymore. It is 2025. And right now, I’m the guy. I’m the best professional
wrestler in this company. And the World Heavyweight Championship
around my waist proves it. And I heard what Bill Goldberg had to say. Intense as always. But there’s nothing he can say that
will change my perception about him. And my perception is that I see a 58 year old, one trick pony that can’t lace my boots. So, Bill, I wanna take the moment now and officially apologize to your wife. And to your son. For everything that I’m gonna do to
the man that used to be Goldberg. I’m unlike anybody you ever
stepped in the ring with. I embarrassed you once. And at Saturday night’s main event,
I’m gonna embarrass you again. Because it’s my personal responsibility to
make sure that the legacy and the myth. >> Speaker 2: Of of
Bill Goldberg forever dies. >> Speaker 1: Yes, you guessed right. I came out here tonight to
talk about Bill Goldberg. And I gotta say, I’m very impressed. We all saw the video highlighting some of Bill Goldberg’s greatest
career moments before. And I gotta say, I’m impressed. It’s violent, it’s brutal, destructive. He left a mark on every opponent
he ever stepped in the ring with. But just like his matches all
summed up in three minutes for you, Bill Goldberg has
every right to claim that he’s the most feared
man of his generation. But I am not afraid of what
is left of Bill Goldberg. Because I see what he really is. He’s a 58 year old man that wants to
ride out his career on my coattail. One last hurrah at my expense. That is definitely not going to happen. Because I know Bill Goldberg
is not capable of taking the World Heavyweight
championship away from me. And I know that I am very capable to
beat him in just under three minutes. But that’s not my goal. My goal for Saturday nights
main event is to take my time, take him apart, blow him up,
outclass him, and embarrass him in front of everything and
everyone that’s near and dear to him. So I heard Bill Goldberg say
he doesn’t like bullies. So Bill, too bad. You bumped into the biggest bully around
here at Saturday night’s main event. I’m going to bully you. I’m going to push you around. I’m gonna treat you like a piece of crap. And there is nothing you can do about it. And now we’re all here guessing, guessing. If you, Bill, if you still got it,
well, I’m gonna expose you. Never had it. You’re right. This Saturday,
Saturday night’s main event, I will defend my
World Heavyweight championship against none other than Bill Goldberg. And for the last two weeks,
I’ve been verbally abusing Bill Goldberg in
the middle of this ring. And so far he’s done nothing about it. So.
So I can only assume that
Bill Goldberg is afraid. He’s afraid of me. He’s afraid of the pressure. >> Speaker 2: It’s Sam right now. Why wait you me now your ass
has been talking too much crap. Now it’s time for you to sign that check. You hear me? >> Speaker 1: Holy. >> Speaker 2: Take one. And Delvar, with a right hand,
drops the champion. Gunther goes down. And he’s setting up for
a spear to send a message to the champ. And Gunther, a worse disaster. Five days. Five days indeed. Ladies and gentlemen,
it was thunderous in here tonight.
