Check out this drill I learned from @kraftygolf_

All right, this is my new favorite drill. Oh, and I did it good. Crafty, tell us about it. Yeah, so if you if you noticed, Cody kind of took his setup and then he hovered the club without changing his posture, right? So, he set up here, then he hovered the club, choked way down. This brought the club head off the ground. This forced Cordy to get his chest really low and transition him through impact. Really nice drill if you tend to be someone who moves their chest away from the ground at impact. Great feedback because if you hit it thin, you didn’t stay in posture enough. Exactly. Right. Uh so you know right away and you can hit balls with it. You can hit balls. It’s great. Try it out.

  1. I don’t play golf but the logic is really neat. Kinda one of those things that seems counterintuitive but is mega helpful. Like when Doc Hudson said “turn right to go left”.

  2. What club? 173 pounded with a completely choked down 9? (I will feel better if it's more club :-). Like the drill. I used to thin every shot where I gripped down to take some distance off. Ironically, a cleaner strike gripped down can go just as far if you don't narrow your stance to reduce turn.

  3. Also, you should start lifting the club and hovering before taking your backswing. Iv noticed a big difference vs starting with the club laying on the ground. More consistent
