Have you ever seen a wedge like this? I mean, it looks normal, but it’s not from Finetuned. Uh, you’ve seen the putter. If you haven’t seen the putter review I did, check it out. I mean, they they make a pretty amazing putter. So, they also do this wedge. I wasn’t so sure about this at first, but I figured, hey, we might as well show it to you what it is. It looks like a normal wedge, but it comes with you can get these different bounces and grinds. So, I got this case. There’s one on it. And then we got three other options. So, maybe you want a higher bounce, a lower bounce, a super lower bounce. Maybe you want bounce but with the back edge grinded off. So you got some bounce on there, but some relief as well. Why would you want that? Why wouldn’t you just get multiple wedges? Well, now you could have one wedge and then it’s perfect for you. You love it. And then you just switch the bounce out to match the conditions you’re playing on at that course or that day. And luckily here at Stadium Golf Center today, we have a number of different conditions. It just rained, so we got this tight lie, a little muddy. What would we want? Would we want a low bounce? Maybe. Let’s check it out. I would think in a lie like this that I would want more bounce, not less. I hit that fat. This has low bounce. Is this something that would be good for me? I mean, I guess I could get used to it, but this is a tight lie. Tight, muddy lie, and I don’t want to do that. Well, maybe it’s not your fault. Maybe it’s your club’s fault. Let’s find out. Take your tool and take off the bounce. Look at this. So, you remove that. And it’s also got weight inside of there. So, when you do that, make sure you grab the weight. So, in this scenario, I’m going to go much more bounce. Pop it on. Okay. So, we got a lot more bounce. That’s how far the lead the uh leading edge or the sole goes below the leading edge. That’s your bounce degree. And you take your little thing. All right. So, all right. We still have the same conditions. I still have my same club, which I love. Whoa. Much different bounce. Does it help? Well, I didn’t chunk it. Oh boy, look at that. This is so much easier. Okay, that was like cheating. See, I This is why I didn’t really I thought it was a gimmick. Okay, I did chunk one. So you chunking it, you’re still going to hit bad shots, but I think for the most part, I mean, that’s a lot better than most of them. Great news, everyone. Mr. Short Game Golf right here. This is where all this instruction is going to live, as well as all the product stuff. So you have products to help you get better and instruction for your game. Then on the new channel, Mr. a short game golf club. That’s where all the oncourse stuff will be. Private club videos, challenges, collaborations on the golf course will be on the new channel. So, check that out. We’re going to have a great time there and an incredible time here. Thanks for your support. Make sure you subscribe here and there if you want that content as well. All right, I’m going to we’re going to see the difference of bounce. So, we have four different bounce variations and this is what we want to find out. Obviously, we know from the lie the bounce makes a huge difference between massive bounce and very little bounce. But we’re going to look at from the same location. We’re going to use each one of these and just get an idea of what this different bounce will do with your ball flight. And we’ll go to the far pin here from the exact same spot. Oh, with that super high bounce that we just had, I’m going to do everything the same square face. Hopefully same swing. Just try to fly it halfway on that green. That was perfect. Okay, so we want the same exact shot every time. You saw the trajectory of that. Then we just remove the bounce. We’ll put that guy on. It’s kind of a pointy sole. Pretty good amount of bounce on this. No, let’s say back bounce relief. It’s just like a little mountain. And let’s see what type of ball flight we get with a clean strike from the same exact spot. Pretty good. I feel like that one went a little higher than the first one. Good amount of bounce. You can compare these two. might have a little more bounce. Very similar, but this has a little relief prior to the peak, right? Has a little grind off the front. So, it goes through. This is just straight bounce. Boom. And you got a little extra height on that one. And you could see same ones. That second one stopped sooner than the first. All right. Our third option here, very similar to this. It’s a larger sole plate on the back, but a little bit less bounce, it appears, but more sole, let’s say. And with that, I would assume you’re going for a higher bounce or a high bounced club, but you would No, it still has the weight in there, but you’re going to have more mass going back up the face of the club, which would ultimately bring that CG or the center of gravity higher a little bit because you got more weight up here. So, I would assume the ball might come out a little lower, but with the high bounce still. I mean, same spot. Well, that one felt really good. I honestly couldn’t tell if it came out lower or higher than the previous one, but to me, I felt like I got a lot of good control of that one. I’m going to hit this one a second time just cuz I liked it so much. Yeah, that one for sure came out lower so I could feel that ball ri roll rolling like staying up higher on the club face or you know you got more CG center of gravity higher versus the other one which is going to make that ball kind of come out lower. So with a wedge for me I like that so far. Let’s go to the last one. So many times bounce helps keep that ball low. So, we never saw really a high real high shot because we have a lot of bounce. But, as we brought the center of gravity higher on the club face, that ball flight went even lower. So, you can have a high bounce with a low CG helps get it high. So, you get a high bounce, higher shot than otherwise. This has low bounce and then the CG also gets moved up a little bit because of the long sole versus the short sole. So, this would essentially the low bounce make it go high, but that higher center of gravity brings it back low again. You can see all the different style of combinations that you could possibly want. So, this is something is more of my style of sole cuz I like to open the face. So you can have a lot more control opening the face and that leading edge won’t come up so high because it’s a lower bounce and it’s got more relief off the heel and even the toe. And as you can see that one went a lot higher because of the less bounce. I think for me personally I really liked this one which was a little more bounce. That’s what’s good about this is you can actually have a whole set of options and see what you like the best because many times your technique might be fine. It’s the equipment’s fault. That’s what that’s what I go with. And the more you could blame it on something else, the better mentally you’re going to be out there on the golf course. It’s not you. It’s your shaft. It’s your club. It’s the grips. The weather. It’s everything. All right. Here we go. This was the one I liked the most cuz I liked the feel of it. I got a Yeah. Yeah. I I don’t know what it is. I think I like a little extra bounce in these types of conditions with that higher CG. Yeah. Look, there’s always something to tinker around with and to buy. I’ll leave a link for fine-tune below. You can check out their wedge because it’s incredibly interesting for you tinkerers out there. Hope it helps. Love you guys. See you soon.

Nice concept. Its not a friction free applicantion though. It has to be easier with less moving parts.
I'll be honest, once I screw on a particular bounce it'll be staying on. I won't be fiddling around with swapping out any other bounces.
What’s the new Channel name and when is it getting launched?
or, you could just practice and find some talent.
The way you’re hyping this wedge like it’s about to rewrite short-game history has me ready to re-think every club in my bag.
Brilliant as always
This is great. I play a lot of golf at different locations in the metroplex and this would come in handy.
I like the concept, but you can't change the bounce in the middle of a round in tournament play, right? You'd have to pick one and stick with it the whole round. Even if you could change it, your pace of play would slow down. I see people losing the screws or the weight with this set.
This is great if you play in the Northeast! I’m a mudder. I’ll play in any conditions as long as it’s over 40. Which means we go from pure slop in March to hardpan in July. What’s the $$$?
Vega already did this with their Alcor Tour wedges
Great idea, I hope the next iteration looks quite a bit better.
where is the link to the new channel?
Lol. Golfers are all about feel. This probably feels like a brick
new channel link? its not popping up in search
Since you can't swap things out during a round, if you're playing strictly by the rules, I'm not sure how useful this would be over having a couple of other clubs to choose from before the round starts.
I'm not sure who this is targeted towards. A pro will be fitted, an amateur would chunk a beach ball, and a player's category is going to buy whatever the pros use, so why does this exist? It's not very good looking, and unless you can slide them on and off in 5 seconds, I can't see anyone buying this product as a "Conditions" tool. I could see it as a fitting tool, or teaching aid, but other than that, I think it's DOA as a gamer option.
Learning the lie seems like a better strategy for improving your game.
Gimmick!!! If you are a good short game golfer, should be able to use anything. Hard pass.
Interesting… played Torrey North a few weeks ago. Softest, most “giving” turf I have ever played. All my wedges are low bounce because I normally play in NC, SC, GA where the fairways are always hard. I left half a dozen strokes on the course from digging the leading edge (aka “chunking it”). Added one high bounce wedge to my collection when I got home. Will throw it in the bag next time for wet or for soft turf.
Does your new channel have useful info or is it just random things like this? You make great stuff, but each video teases with a good title and then ends with "leave me a comment below if you think this wedge might change golf forever!" Can you have a channel for useful info like tips, real gear reviews, course reviews, etc. and then a channel for all of the Amazon crap trials, best thingey under $50, etc.?
I thought less bounce on tight lies. Looks like it's more about the 'softness' of the turf. I use my sand wedge (54/10) when I want bounce, like sand and longer grass. I use my lob (58/7) for shorter grass. Maybe I'm not doing that correctly?!? In my game it probably doesn't matter much.
I tried to find the new channel Mr Shortgame golf club but I can not find it can you send me a link please.
This would be good for changes in grass type. As mentioned, a single course will have many different lies. So you'd play the shot differently. Want more bounce, then ball up in the stance more release. Want less, ball back in stance more of a putter stroke.
Point is, this is only really useful going to different grass types as technique overrides everything. The case could be made for different seasons (ground is very wet in the spring vs hard pan in the summer). But really it's about how the club swung given the lie.
My main thing I’d worry about is it becoming loose while playing or the bolts getting stripped or rusty over time.
Umm…No!!!
I enjoy your content and personality. Looking forward to your new channel. I just started a channel of my own, focusing on budget friendly golf. I would love to get your feedback on my first video. Thanks. Sonny’s Golf Garage

That's actually one of the first "new" golf things that's really cool. I always want to mess around with bounce but don't have money for every wedge grind out there lol
Edit: Never mind these are $1,000. Absolute ridiculous, could buy brand new vokey's in every bounce variation for that
Bro, you already made me buy their Putter after your fined tuned putter review. You gonna make me buy their wedges now???😂😂
Just what golf needs is another gimmick to take your money.
i bought new clubs and instantly got better, so i know it was the equipment 🤣. but seriously, the leading edge make a huge difference as well, a mid bounce with forward shaft lean and less steep attack angle can get through the tight lies way better. knowing how to use the equipment makes a bigger difference. ⛳
