Matt Hoy takes you on a lap of Snapper. Coolangatta’s famous surf racetrack is littered with humans every day of the year but particularly when the Quiksilver Pro professional surf event kicks off. Pros, locals, tourists, kids, you name it the surf is a quagmire of surfers all trying to snare one of these perfect walls. Hoy dons the GoPro on his board and employs his special ‘tactics’ to catch a wave…being a pro surfer himself Hoy has a special trick to catch waves, which is not for everyone but for him it works!!
