My name’s Harry Darham and I’m one of the worst darts players in the world, but I’m on a mission to beat a professional darts player. This time it’s fellow Newbury boy and 2024 world champion Luke Humphre. I go down from 301 and he goes down from 501. That’s fair, isn’t it? Game. Cool hand, Luke Humphre. We’re here in the Bullseye green room. Who would have thought a two lads from Newbury right here playing darts of each other? I definitely would never afford it. I think as a kid watching this to to find myself actually on the show in the new series, surreal moment for myself. Quite quite proud of that to be honest. Yeah, like I said, I’ve been a massive fan of it and now to be a part of it is something special. I mean, my childhood you I go to my nana and granddad’s house and obviously they’re big fans of Bobby George and whatnot and they’d have the old foam bully cuddly toy and I can remember seeing that as a child. Was was your upbringing sort of like that? Was balls that big in your household? Massive. Yeah. Like my whole family were dart players so they used to watch it. I remember like watching it on challenge like five, six backto-back shows and I’d just be there pounding it, you know, watching it. There’s a guy from uh Barkshire called Graeme Hardy who I know I played darts with. He was on the show as well. So uh yeah, another fellow Bshire person on it. Well, we’ve said it already. Best ever player from Newbury. 250 second second. Archie self is from Fatum Handicap. I’m going from 301. your 501. Yeah, I think this is going to be a close game to be honest with you. I reckon it will be. You’re getting a good start. You going first as well. I’m going to let you have the darts first. Future 10 time world champion next to me as well. Pressure. Game on. All the best. All the best, mate. Feel nervous. Your hands are a bit sweaty. I’m always sweaty. any trouble? I just have naturally clammy hands anyway. It’s not because of the uh I think I think it’s only when you’re around me to be honest. Is it like that? It’s not getting unfair. Come on now. Nice. How is it just so seamless though? I just don’t get it. I tell him what to do. Yeah, but I practice so much. But I think it’s what you said before. If you’re thinking about your dart so much, just got to let it flow, don’t you? Safe. The show goes on. Come on. Straight. Come on now. Come on. You might be a little bit nervous. Oh, mate. That’s so unlucky. Can I ask what you going for? 20. Want for a 124? Yeah. You wanted 140. You wanted 54 bullseye. Yeah, but I don’t want I know it’s the game. Want to give me another shot. I see it. Cuz I wanted this. Get in my head. might just lick his neck. Come on. I should have brought my James Wade out there. Beat the last two times. You got to do better than that. That’s Christmas. What is that? Got to do better than that. Give me a chance. I actually want to see you do well. Happy farts. Oh, I just joined you. I think it is the trick. I overthink. Yeah. Right. MVG throw. So, do you overthink or you just not very good? It’s good. I love overthink. It’s overink. 26. The most stupid wave to 26 as well. thing is when you let it flow, it works. Come on. Can’t get any worse 100 61 like a 180 ref could have took a you wouldn’t know. Stop talking. I’m joking. Keep talking. Keep talking. It’s funny that I’m on a handicap, right? Still behind now. What average is Luke on? 83.38. And that’s not that’s not even like you were obviously not going to go full throttle against me. No, I wouldn’t I would never doubt you. No, never. Game respects game, doesn’t it? Oh, it’s got Oh, come on. Where would you go? Would you go uh three top stops for the video? For the video, that is. Yeah, cuz if Or would you go 51? I’d go 51. But for the video, I’d go three top stops. Up to you. How much does the leg mean to you? It’s like killing your hero. Do you know what I mean? I know. You’re my I’m saying you’re my hero. You’re a year older than me. That’s so pathetic, isn’t it? What? I’m a year older than you. Yeah. Well, obviously I grew up on the other end of Newbury where the water wasn’t so good, so I look weathered. Don’t don’t don’t. I was trying to go double double there and you got the hairline out. Disgusting behavior. 17. You want to lead against anybody? Yeah. Cam Crabtree. Just that leg. That’s the only one you’ve ever been on. Yeah, I’ve played Gzi. You the nuke. None of them let you win a leg. You didn’t let me win a leg. I worked half. I mean, you didn’t win a leg. I won a leg against Cam, but not the rest of them. It said is all 127 of the piece to go. Sorry. Many joking. 56. Oh my god, mate. manager ring me saying, “Come on, I read this up.” Yeah. Nine data then. My turn. Yeah. I I’ll be quick now. The game’s already gone. I don’t even hit 20 yet. 180 points in the room. Yeah. Well, I had that conversation with Shaggy. Best 180 caller of all time. I’d go Paul Hanks. I’d say George Noble. George is the best. I’d say Paul’s I mean Russ as well. Russ and George. Two iconic calls. trying. Imagine you taking out a fish. I can’t. But imagine Oh, he’s found it. Game shot and the match. Well done, mate. Thank you. I feel bad not letting you win a leg, but I know you wouldn’t have wanted it that way, would you? No, obviously. I think we have a go next year. Play again next year. Yeah. Give you a bit of training. Who’s going to train me? I do. You live You live in crew. I live in London. But then you travel up to me. You’re paying for that. Yeah. Why not? Then we can have our night out. In crew. Bring Jackpot out. Actually, that this could be the best. Well, the fort lives in Stoke cuz you live in crew. He lives near us. Get Button down. Everyone’s in the Northwest anyway. Have a great night. I’ll send you links to some houses and stuff. Um I can’t really afford it when I talk about wage, but yeah. Listen, we Well, they need to give you a pay raise. Come on, guys. Have your people call my people. We’ll work it out. Definitely. Thanks for having me on. [Music]

  1. This guy said he use to play as amateur that’s bullshit even amateurs are better than him he can’t even hit a fucking treble he definitely hasn’t played darta never mind amateur 🙈😂😂😂

  2. You have to just enjoy it, feel good about yourself. Playing with the pros and recording videos is so much pressure, anyone would be off their game in that scenario.

  3. Do not go for a night out in Crewe, Nantwich is the place to go or if you want to play darts then go Willaston Club……

  4. I think you should just start at 40 tbh lol

Luke's such a nice normal bloke, you're so lucky

  5. Doesn't matter how much you practice if you practice wrong. The throw looks good but the pull back goes way too far, and you almost lose that natural arc the dart needs to hit where you're aiming; as a result, the dart doesn't look straight, and your position on the oche looks to be hindering you; Bunting famously pulled his darts, so now he plays what feels like a county over, to get as extreme an angle of approach as possible.

  6. I’ve been making a tiny darts practice app for fun — kind of a gamified “level up as you throw” thing.
It’s in early BETA and I’m looking for a few home players to test it.

No pressure, but if anyone’s curious, I can drop the link!

  7. I'm just wondering how Harry get's away with calling himself a "pub darts player"…….. 🤣🤣

  8. I mate, I'm new to darts, one year in.
my 501 is about 22 darts, my best is 17, Still, Love the game.
Watching you throw, makes me think, is it how the dart leaves your fingers that sprays them left and right.
    I find that with me,
also, the thickness of the darts plays a part in my releases,
for me, too thin and I'm L&R ,
    mid barrels are much straighter,
I do use Luke's darts as well but find after awhile their straight inline but all in 5, then I move my feet to adjust, doesn't always fix the problem.
Main problem is my Wrist has a mind of it's own, struggle to keep it still.

I'll get two D/bull's and the last one hits the triple 14. why? tried left hand, not much chop.
I'm still amazed watching the two lukes. like your content too.
