Come on, first, just the three of them. And the three of me, wait and see. Greetings, my dears. The day after the competition. MD bought a bunch of crappie for the distance. Beautiful, sunny weather, just like it was two or three days before the competition, but then the rain hit us and all that. Well, it was really good fishing. In the end, when we looked at all the pictures and when some people who weren’t on the catch list contacted us, it became clear that not everyone had handed in their catch slips. Either they left early because of the rain, got wet, or they simply thought that their catch of one fish or another wasn’t worth a reward. But when we added it all up, it was still 75 fish. So we have five pike, two catfish, one bream, and the rest are perch. The vast majority are common perch, and there were about 15 rockfish. I think That’s a pretty solid result for a long distance. There were two other catches. One, a beautiful barbel and one very beautiful carp. They didn’t make it into the points because they’re not simply predatory species. That’s what the rules say. But we said we’d come up with some consolation prize for them. So we thought about it a bit. Well, here’s our Ivan Zenjević from the boat, the one who caught that beautiful carp. We’ll make him a set of rubbers, a set of rubbers like this, a box with garlic and skopex flavors, which are carp’s famous flavors. We’ll put that direct mass on this one because our baits can easily absorb all those oil essences. Let’s get some more hooked on this one. And our colleague Igor Gexa will get one with cheese flavor. So, here’s two consolation prizes for them. Packages with those flavored baits. I hope they don’t get mad. This is just a joke. But we thought about them too. Uh, first of all I want to thank all of you who came despite the bad weather and the forecasted rain and showed that you know what you’re doing. Those three first places are not the first three places by chance. They are all top anglers who from the first to the last second uh showed what they can do to be third with six perch. On a wild water that’s not such a bad result. It just shows how much more successful the others were. Our Nikola took third place again, so maybe Nagodina will be first, but we’ll see. Uh and a big thank you to the Hršak family uh from Dalje, Igor and Dubravka, they are the wife and son of our Hršak family, after whom ours has been swimming for the past three years.
