Hey everyone! I am a mid to high handicap golfer who has always struggled with putting. The putter I have now is pretty old, so I figured I would upgrade because I've got some extra cash at the moment. I have been browsing FaceBook Marketplace and have found these putters that caught my eye. They are all pretty much the same price, so do not think of that as a factor. Which putters would be best for a high handicapper like myself? I think the Tomcat 14 looks cool, but I don't know much about putters.
In order the putters are: Odyssey Microhinge, Ping Fetch, Odyssey 11, Odyssey Ai Cruiser, Heppler Tomcat 14, Cobra Cuda
Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

You could find putters that suit your preferred swing path, but that’s, in my opinion, not needed at an early stage.
It’s so much about feel, confidence and getting the aim you need, that I would argue you’ve answered your own question. “The Tomcat looks cool”. The Tomcat should be your preferred choice.
Bringing it out will trigger a happy sensation, positive mindset and remove the “ahh, this doesn’t look as good as the Tomcat”.
I play the Odyssey 7 and love it. But I also bought that purely based on how I like standing over it and the sense of confidence.
Would be better to go some similar putters in person. Also, getting the right length putter is very important as it can mess with the way the putter sits at address and your stroke. it will also change how close you stand and the position of your eyes relative to the ball. Standard length is 35″ though the average length on tour is 33.5″.
Callaway pre-owned has some putters that you could probably try in store and get there for cheaper.
My first putter was one that looked cool. I thought that was enough reason to buy it and I figured I’d be able to figure it out and make it work. I noticed I tended to miss putts to the left.
I was in a golf store and tried some putters just to see what else was out there. I tried a couple used mallet style Scotties and I missed those to the left, like I would with my mallet style Taylormade Spyder. I then tried a blade and hit it dead straight and hit it 5 more times and hit it dead straight every time. I also found the speed control to be very easy so I bought it (Mizuno OMOI2)
That face balanced Cobra with the LA Golf insert is pretty rad. I have the fang version. It’s nice
What’s wrong with the current putter? My putter is 25 years old – Ping Zing 2i Isopur. I tried every new putter in the shop included this giant ass head putters like you’ve got pictured. I didn’t love any of them. I did find it curious that the newer traditional looking putters were a bit heavier than mine. I could adjust to that easily. They felt good but I wasn’t sure if heavier was better.
My dad was a scratch golfer on 1960s iron technology, persimmon woods, and a bullseye acushnet putter. I hated his putter but the moral of the story is that skills count more than the equipment.
