[Applause] Welcome back to the channel, guys. Today joining us at Lichfield Golf and Country Club and we’re on the driving range, driving range manager and PJ Trainee. And we’re both wearing the Copper Touch glove, aren’t we? Yes. Um it’s not a coincidence. We’ve we’ve come to meet Nigel today, aren’t we? But he’s not here. He’s turned up. He’s not He’s not on time. We’re the early ones. We’re a little bit nervous coming on camera today. So, I’ve got him a couple of pints. We’ve got him drunk. And now he’s going to tell us everything he knows. He’s going to tell us all secrets. So, we thought we’d crack on. Now, you might have seen this glove. I titled the video. I think the at golf show, I think they sold £30,000 for golf clubs in two days. I know some of you guys have been and bought one, but for me, winter can’t come soon enough because my grip, if it gets any weaker, honestly, this this right hand is nearly around here. So, Ellie is just going to hit a couple of balls for us. Now, I think the the key point to mention with buying golfers is they’re not always available in like ladies and juniors, are they? No, it’s it’s so hard to actually find a glove that fits you perfectly and is comfortable. But as uh as you can see, Ellie’s left-hander and she’s a a lady and she’s wearing a a glove with a training aid on. So, it’s it’s very rare. Yeah. I feel like for left-handers, they get a bit of a poor choice, don’t they, when it comes to golf. Yeah, we kind of get left behind sometimes. Yeah. Um sometimes golf is built for the righthander. Um but I feel really well really well suited with this glove and sort of the amount of options of colors as well. Yeah. Um and I wear the extra small ladies which is perfect and I recommend to so many people I coach. If it’s the first time you obviously seeing this club, you got some key sort of pointers, aren’t you? So here to show that you’ve got two knuckles showing. You’ve got this to show that it’s pointing up to your It’ll be your left shoulder, won’t it? I’d imagine for you to spot as well. Yeah. That’s very important for when you line up these lines with the F. So the club goes in the fingers, not the palm. Yeah. So it goes in the fingers and you’re going to wrap it round and then this spot here on top on top of the club there. Yeah. Let’s have a look how that looks from the side. If you just turn to the That’s better. So, that is pointing. Yeah. Right where it should be. If you just bring your other hand on and that helps you get that handset in the right place. Good. I just feel like I can effortless effortlessly swing as well. It’s just really easy to swing. I’m not trying to grip onto the club for dear life, which is something that I did used to do. Oh, can I see it? Yeah. Yeah. Very nice. Damn, that’s grippy. Yeah. What do these mean? So that means full shot. Yeah. Um, so when you’ve got the club, you line it up in these in the fingers here. Yeah. And then club wraps around and that should be pointing towards your shoulder. And then this marks two knuckles that should be showing for a neutral grip. Nice. And then there’s a spot on the thumb where you just have it there. You don’t try and press down on it. Just rest the thumb on the spot. Impressive. And yeah, they uh really durable. I quite like the colors as well. I think what you just pointed out as you came in that you you see this straight away, don’t you? Yeah. That extra texture. It really does point out and these will just wow. And I think what Nigel was saying is is that, you know, we’ve had Cabeta GR for that many years now. It’s probably only part of golf equipment that’s not really developed. Yeah, a glove. So, yeah, it helps with sort of gripping the club lighter as well. Goes in the washing machine. Nice. Um, yeah, they last a bit longer. Save you a bit of money. Cool. Game changer, Dom. Mine’s starting to Well, it’s not been washed yet. You might say it’s looking a bit tired, but I’ve had that since June. I got that golf show. Wow. And it’s Yeah, it’s just like bulletproof cuz I practice a lot. in my opinion as well. I mean, if I’d have had a um a leather glove, it it’ have worn through five times by now, shredded. Yeah, shredded. Cool. But yeah, we’ll uh see you in a bit. So, obviously because we we’re meeting with Nigel when he turns up from Copper Tet, I thought I’ll actually because sometimes you go on course and I’m going to be honest, you don’t go through your routine every time. Um, but I thought I’m going to go through my routine today in me warm up. And I’ll tell you what, when I put this in the right place, this hand sits a little bit further around. And you guys who watch my videos regular, I know you’ve been in comments telling me that this right arm’s getting over top and you can see it. It looks like my shoulders are open. It’s such a bad habit of mine. And when I do get my ar this hand in the right place, this hand sits a bit more sort of underneath the club. It feels awful because I’ve been doing it wrong. Obviously, you know, even us pros need to check his grip sometimes. But if I strike it as well as I did 10 minutes ago with this hand a little bit stronger, it’s worth persisting with the pressure on Narell’s watching. And that is absolutely solid. I’ve not really been striking ball particularly well over these last few weeks. And I think this is definitely a reminder that I needed. It’s come at the right time. because no matter what level you’re at, it’s something I think everybody neglects and it’s one it’s the only contact we’ve got with club and uh if you’re going to obviously take the time to practice for a winter at driving ranges and you know have lessons you need to build your swing around a good grip. So, I would go as far as saying it’s generally best training aid in golf. I know there’s loads of training aids on market, but I think if you’ve got a good grip, it’s difficult to go wrong really, isn’t it? Yeah. If you’re starting from a place where uh you you’ve got the technique nailed down, things fall into place so much easier. I’ve been having lessons recently with James Freeman. I don’t feel like I’ve had the full benefit of it. And obviously doing the same things James has been telling me with this grip, it seems to be marrying up really nice. Yeah. Um I hadn’t seen him for a while, but I know he’d be the first person to tell me if he’d have seen me that my grip had been slipping. I’m not going to hit any better than them three shots. Really relaxed as well. You look like it’s just really easy to to hit. But do I hit driver? Do I really test myself? Oh yes. Felt lovely. Easy. That’s what a good grip does. You made me laugh earlier when I said, “What clothes have you got in bag?” The first thing you said is, “I like to color coordinate.” I think that’s the most important thing. You’ve got to have the wardrobe, right? And the gloves to match it. So, you’re using the elite. You’ve got one training glove. You’ve got I love that color. By the way, I bet they don’t do that in gents. You do get the best colors. You You should see the pink one. I mean, that’s the favorite. These are the ones that I’ve been sent and we’re going to do some videos. Um, so I’ve got a I have got a pink elite. I don’t know if they might have sent that for you actually. We’ll have to see if it fits you. I’m Look, boring. White, black, a bit of camo. I think the camo is quite funky to be fair. I’m saying boring. Most of us gents are pretty boring, aren’t we? We’re not as excitable as you guys. Um, and then we’re going to be testing I’ve just uh got one out of the packet, the Rue gloves, which you do get a black and white one. So, we’re going to get a bucket of water. I’m going to see if this really does work cuz I I don’t know if you’ve ever had a leather glove, but you know when they get wet, they’re horrendous, aren’t they? Yeah. And if you leave it in your golf bag as well, that’s just you’re saying goodbye to that one. If you follow my channel long enough, you’ll know I I talk so much about having a good rain glove, you know, like through the winter, obviously. But I didn’t know about a leather glove that, you know, grips when it gets wet because obviously if it if it if it does grip, then you don’t even need a rain glove in your bag, do you? Yeah, especially with this uh country’s winter, we’re going to need something that’s going to survive. Absolutely. Guys, if you want to go and check Copper Tet out, I’ll drop a link in the comments below and the description. There’s no discount code. There’s no It’s not a an advert, but you know, we both wear them. Obviously, they’re sending us some products now, and we’d only ever recommend something that genuinely works. So, you know, I don’t think I think if you’ve not got a training glove, I’m going to say I think you’re stupid. It’s the best product in golf. Um, it’s like a cheat code and I think you’ll enjoy the feel of it and then obviously, you know, probably end up getting a few gloves to actually game because I think they actually save you money. These, it’s my only glove that I can really rely on. I can use time and time again. Yeah. And I’m not spending X amount of money on leather gloves after 10 rounds. They’re hardwearing. They’re washable. They’re comfortable. I love how flexible they are because they’ve got that kind of stretch in them as well. Stretching them. Yeah. It helps if you’ve got any joint pain as well. Absolutely. Guys, we’ll um we’ll finish on that note. And if you’ve enjoyed that video and you want to see the rue glove in action, we’ll uh we’ll go and get a bucket of water and get tested. Bye.

I've bought 4 of the training gloves. Initially, in the heat & humidity of Thailand, I was extremely disappointed with them as they felt as though there was no gripping the club. However, I found that when wearing them for a 2nd time they gripped the club really well and I'm now confident about wearing them when I play.

I am going to buy one of these gloves Gary. I liked the look of your glove when we played together last week. When are the videos out?
I’ve got 3 of these there better than most gloves and also food price
I had a training aid glove before but my coach soon pointed out that it no use to me as I grip in my parm with very big grips not by choice I'd add but I can really see the benefits of them if used correctly
Sorry Gary, but I wasn't impressed with this glove. My usual medium size was too big, the knuckle indicator was wrongly positioned, and it wore out in no time. Nice idea, but didn't work for me. Just my honest opinion.
Always great to see honest gear reviews. The details about fit and grip are what golfers really care about.
