This Golf Course Has the Most Insane Par 3’s You’ve EVER Seen!
This is an insane part three. Look at all that sand. We are in Scottsdale at Scottsdale National playing the other course. What’s insane about this place is they have six par 3es. What? So today we’re going to play only par threes. Six of them. Total score of par would be 18. Can we do it? All I know is this one that we’re starting on is pretty insane. And each part three gets more insane as we go. So buckle up. This is our insane par three challenge. Over under 18. Keep in mind par threes are typically the highest scoring holes on the golf course. In this video playing six of them. Number three is called Killer B. At 239 yards, the Killer B can kill your score if you’re not careful. There’s no bailout. You just have to hit a great shot if you want a chance here. This is going to be insanely difficult. 200 yards into a stiff wind. We’re hitting this Xiron that we just got. So, we’ll tell you about that as we go. Um, I have a feeling we’re going to hit a lot of this club. Wow. Is that too much? No, we’re putting. Oh my gosh. Who built this iron? This thing just My new favorite club all of a sudden. Look at that. That’s right in the center. Can we frame that? You see it? Look at that. I was uh trying to It’s right there. So, in this video, we’re going to show you tell you a little bit about our new PXG putter and that X iron I just hit, which is my 220 club, apparently. Now, purest greens ever, that’s for sure. See what the putter does for me. Well, that’s got a chance. Thanks, All right. Anytime I can get a par on a a hole like this, I’ll run away as fast as I can. What an insane par three. Look, the bunkering on this hole is absolutely insane. It’s playing 162 with a little cross hurting wind. Insane view. Insane par three. dragonfly at 189 yd. You better make sure you’re on the right portion of this green because that bunker in the middle is not your friend. So, avoid that at all costs. Okay, here’s what we’re going to do. We got our new Gen 8 irons. I’m just going to smooth this one up there. According to my lesson, I can go right at this flag. Okay, we’re going to have a fun second shot. We’re putting Okay, felt great. We got a wild putt, though. Insane putt. Look at this. We hit a good shot. We have the most insane putt. Unless I mean, we could have been here, but we’re not that insane. Look at this bunker. I mean, it’s almost in the green. That’s why this is an insane par three. The good news is we have an insane new putter, the Mustang, which is a heel shafted almost like a plumber’s neck slant. Zero torque putters, brand new from PXG, the Mustang, as you can see. So, we got fit for these as well. I love the look and shape of this bad boy. That’s kind of my style of putter, the look, which is zero torque. So, let’s see if uh the Mustang zero torque putter can help us out here. Come on, Mustang. What an insane putt. I don’t know if I hit it. I did not hit it. I had a good line, though. Uh-oh. Just cuz we came up short doesn’t mean we can’t make the next one. All right, little down. Come on, Mustang. Oh, I deserve that one. Once I hit it, I was like, it’s not going to break what we thought. All right. Well, we’re one over on our insane par threes. But I think we have four more, so we can hopefully hang in there. The good news is they get even more insane than this one. It’s going to be difficult. This is an insane part three. I mean, tell me it’s not in the comments. Let me know. You think, “Nah, there’s nothing really insane about this one.” It’s 100% insane. And they’re just going to keep getting more insane. Insane. Par three. The ninth hole here is called catfish. And it will scare just about everybody. It might be short, but you don’t want to be short. And you don’t want to be long. Just find the green two putt if you can and get out of there. 130 little downwind. Tons of room right. Okay, we’re going to aim just left of the flag. We’re going to play our little fader in there. Like a 10:00 pitching wedge. Wind’s off the right though. Little bit. All right. I like it. So maybe right at the hole. Oh, that wind’s got it. Went way left. Oh, look at that. Go. I hit it good. Hit the right number. The wind. A lot of wind up there. Push it. As soon as it went up, it went. All right. Uphill left to righter. Like I said, we’re just trying to par these par threes. And if we get one to run in, then that’s like bonus time. That’s got a chance though. Oh, little firm. Okay. Although it’s short, it ain’t easy. You can’t get more pure than these greens either. They must have a good mower. They keep getting more insane. Look at the bunkering on this hole. Short par three. We’re talking 125 yards is what we’re playing it today. Yeah, this green is tiny. And this hole is called Devil Dog. 140 yardd par three. Basically, don’t miss anywhere other than the putting green. Don’t go short. Don’t go right. Don’t ricochet off the rocks on the left. All of that is bad. But that green is good. We got some wind storm in the background. All right. Just right there. Just left to the hole. Go a little. Go. Go a little. Stay. Stay. Okay. Stop. Stop. Stop. Okay. Took a little too much off that, but hit a good Dang. Insane how Bob Parson and his PhD, you know, they dedicate a lot of the um their stuff to the military. Very military themed course. Appreciate that. Thank you. All right. Little right to lefter. Yeah. I hit my line. It’s going to break too much. Oh, little harder, I think. Can you put backwards with this? Yes. Should I say it? An insane par three. Yes. Bunkering length. Trick. Tricky. You got to hit a good shot. Four iron here for me. 13 is called scorpion. And yes, it will sting you. 227 yd par three. Short is no good. Rocks are no good. Just try to get it anywhere on green grass and you’ll be happy. Oh, I hit it a touch right. We might be in that bunker. Oh, I carried it. What’s over there? Just off the back grass. Okay, I hit it really good. Little right. All right, we’re safe. I think I think we missed in a good spot. So, on a long hole like that, that’s kind of the best you can hope for. Just run it up a little right to left. Not not my best not my best pitch shot. If I had to do it over, I would have used a different club, but I didn’t bring it. I left it in the cart. So, going down. All right. So, we can make a long one. Stay. Oh, man. That thing was quick back there. Oh, that went right. I thought it went left. Well, there you go. That’s a miss green and a three putt for a double. They can get you. We saved the best for last. This is the most insane par three out here. Look, it’s like an infinity green. It just goes off. This is an insane par three if you’ve ever seen one. From the tea box, it looks like an infinity green. The hole is called yellow jacket. 167 yard par three. Gorgeous bunkering on the right. And not a place you want to view in person. Just from afar is the perfect spot. And yes, there is no bail out on this hole. Good luck. That’s a good thing to look at. I guess we can go right at it, huh? Just go right at it and let it bleed a touch. Right. Oh, I chunked it. Stay short. That’s going to be short. That’s perfect. I laid up and I saved my worst swing for last, too. Let’s see if we can like at least get up and down. At worst, at best, it goes in. Okay, we got a chance for par to end our insane par threes. I think we’re like three over though cuz we got that double and another bogey. Quick left rider. These aren’t easy. Insane. Insanity is what it is. Oh, it didn’t move. It didn’t move. Didn’t move like I thought. Ouch. That’s plus four. on the most insane par threes in golf collectivewise. You let me know what you think. Are there is there more insane collection of part 3es on any one golf course? I don’t think so. Hope you liked everything and the uh the clubs we showed you. Love you guys. See you next time.
Today we’re out at Scottsdale National playing The Other Course and it has 6 Insane Par 3 Holes.

#100 …..about my score in golf lately 😅😅
What a great group of holes. You played them well Matt.
Thanks for the insane video. I drive by that course on my way to play other golf courses in that area and have always wondered about it. It’s too much chair for my pocketbook. Thanks Matt!
I really love the fact that you are so down to earth and show you miss hits.
Love the channel.
that's C R A Z Y 🤪
STILL WORKING WIDE TO WIDE ?
There is an executive course near me that I love to play. 14 par 3s and 4 par 4s. And the 3s vary in length from 185 to 60 yards. And it has a little island green hole and some protected holes. It's a lot of fun and really helps work on approach shots.
One of our local courses has a 212 Par 4 from the ladies tee and the next hole is 209, a par 3 from the ladies tee. That seems insane to me. Not a lot of regular, amateur ladies can hit that far, but still – we keep playing this course
I grew up playing a short par 69 course back in the 1960s BUT it had a crazy 235 yard par 3. Many of my tee shots hit somebody’s garage.
If Matt could not say "insane", he would be tongue tied!!
The course I work at has three par threes in a row . 215, 215 to an uphill green that’s tiny (plays about 235-240), and 195. Getting through that stretch at 1 over always feels like a win.
Insane counter…..40? Course reminds me of Gamble Sands here in Eastern Washington (well some parts of the course) .Beauty
Insane, yes. Next time I'm in Scottsdale, I will not be playing there. 😂
Unfortunately most of us will never get to play this course so thanks for sharing!
You should name your putter "Sally"!
😜
Enjoyed watching you play those very challenging par 3's. You did well. I would like to see what the rest of the course is like.
Matt, next to impossible to par 6 par 3's. You would do good if you parred 4 of them.
After 2 minutes got sick of insane and unsubscribed. Insane isn’t it?
