  1. I'm 59 and started surfing in '79.
    Still strokn and stokn.
Stewart and Carroll and Lopez and Curren and Kealoha and Buttons and Aipa and Occi.
    Should i stop now.

  2. Auld guys rule, I'm still hitting the slabs of Alba and Eire and turn 60 this October. Still climbing 6a trad (5:11c US) WI5 winter/mixed, soul-skating Highland blacktop, ridge soaring and loch swooping with my 11m Swing Spitfire. Auld guys do indeed rule.

  3. When we 62 we can only hope we remain as feral as this legend… he needs to be honoured in a big way as one of the greatest watermen of all time.. 🔥🔥🫡

  4. If that's Mike in the vid, that's by far the heaviest wipeout I've ever seen him take and I've watched footage of him riding for almost 40 years.. I don't think it's him, I sure hope it wasn't!

  5. Mike Stewart, you will always be the best. You have been inspiring dozens of bodyboarders during these decades. I have started on Bodyboarding in 86 and you've been my idol on sport since the early days. You are brave! Go Michael Alexander Stewart.

  6. 6ft air drop back breaker & straight into oblivion @ teahpo'o..
bold move, completely idiotic, but bold move& still idiotic.

you should NOT show a short like this..62y.o. one horribly "ridden" wave..
he was a legendary boogie boarder, leave the feeble old guy alone! have mercy on him, hes too old, hes got kids, that had kids, that had kids that are pregnant..

  8. The greatest of all time.
Hes so great that its disrespect to shorten to GOAT.
    From now on long form.
    Show some respect you goblins

  9. What an absolute fearless animal! Took on that beast like a warrior in a battlefield. When has anyone ever seen Mike wipe out? NEVER! Hats off for that feat alone! Dude has always been super calculated and precise in everything he’s done in and out of the water. Never seeming human. This is likely only one of a few times we witness him stumble but still handled better than most. True living legend and super hero to so many generations around the world. Hats off Big Mike! We love you. Broken ribs and all! 😅Also, big congrats on your Shark Island win! 🏆
