Today’s a big day, Chase. Been waiting for this one for a long time. This is probably the most requested. It is the most requested. People are saying it all in the chat uh in the comments section like, “We want Steph. We want Steph. We want Stephven.” And guess what, guys? Today we got Steph Curry. All right, Steph. So, you’re going into your season next week, right? Yep. Next week, year 17 is starting. 17 years. I’m still on golf vacation right now. That’s good. That’s good. Which is nice. I’m going to take full advantage of it. Are you Are you excited for this year? I’m hyped, man. Like I say, 17 years is always a different kind of vibe going into the year. This year compared to last year, we have a pretty much established core. We finished the year last year, our last 30 games. Yeah. We were like first, second in the league net rating. Yep. Um after the trade cuz we got Jimmy Butler at the trade deadline. Yep. So now we’re How’s that been with them? Is it It was amazing. Okay. So now we’re like having a full off season, a full training camp together to hopefully get to the but we’re not cha we chased at the end of the year we were in full playoff mode just trying to make the the playoffs. So for 30 games it was like a playoff run. Gotcha. So hopefully we don’t have to be in that situation where and kind of smooth ride it 100% and then perfect. Get ready for the year. There we are. We got to keep We got to keep those skills, right? That’s That’s right. How many times you played here? Uh, I played here twice before they did the redo and then I played here three times. Three times. Yeah. It’s pretty sick. I went and uh drove it. So, I actually grew up three and a half hours away Fresno and I played here a bunch for the junior amter when I was like 13, 14, something like that. So, I knew the old core is my first time out here, but this thing is immaculate. It looks amazing. Gil Gil Hans did a good job. The whole thing. Yeah. All right, let’s get up. Let’s get up to it. Well, depending on how we putt, I think it’s really going to come down to putting. If Steph can help me on the par threes, you know how bad I am at those guys. It’s not good. This could be the first two man to do it. Is it Garrett and um Grant and Grant Romo? We’re trying to be the first two men to do it. So, let’s freaking do it. Last one. Yeah, chemistry. Exactly. Teamwork. See, that’s the thing. That’s the thing I want to ask him. I want to ask him about teamwork. Like, how does he being an individual, right? Golf for the most part besides the crushers, especially in individual sports, really lonely. Like being on a team, how does that feel? Yeah. When you win, when you lose, like how does that feel? like what does it feel like? What do you do differently? Those are some of the questions I want to ask him. So, they’re actually what? Analyzing his swing right now? Yeah, they’re taking couple videos of the golf swing, analyzing it. So, it’s a sports box AI and they’re capturing 10 swings using uh Google Gemini’s um chat box and how it displays the information out. we can compile a really cool set of data for him that can analyze and be a coach and assistant uh coaching assistant for his golf swing whenever he’s struggling or hitting it good. Just knowing what he’s exactly doing over 2500 metrics sports box. It’s it’s the coolest thing. I mean, I use it to win the US Open, so it’s got to work. So, I went to sleep thinking I had I had a real chance chance. That’s awesome. And then next day, what happened? What you It I shot 7474. Yeah. Uh pretty tough course over there in Hayward TBC Stone Bra. Yeah. Uh I just didn’t make enough birdies on the second day, but I I I scrambled and kept myself in it to not I to beat 12 pros or 14 pros. Yeah. I mean I’m taking it I’m taking it all day. What What year was that? 2017. He probably could have beat me in 2017. Serious. You could have, bro. Then 2018 I shot 71 and I was in even better position. And then I ended up shooting 80 something on the second round. I got hit with the the golfer. Had to wait 30 minutes on a on the third T- box and then sprayed two right out of bounds. Ended up making a nine and that was the end of that round. All right, let’s see what speed I got today. See, just wanted to go straight. That’s 80 right there. It’s not bad. It’s warming up. Must be 180. Yeah, in this cold, I’ll take it. It’d be 190 in comp. Good lord. Just warming up. I want You want to try one on that uh thing? Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. I want you to hit one. Come on. Then playing the forward T is like being okay with saying, “Oh, I’ve birdie four in a row. Like, I still got to Yep. You keep your mind focused on the job at hand.” For me, every single time I te up, I’m like, “Okay, I have to I have to birdie this hole. I have to make eagle. I have to make this putt.” So, you’re always keeping yourself in that ready go mind uh mindset. That’s what I think people have missed when when they’re trying to film, too. Uh, this is for anybody that’s trying to film me. You’re trying to be a professional athlete. Like, yeah, you’ve got to like mix the two. If you don’t, it’s a totally different job. I don’t feel like this is a job. I feel like this is just a part of my career now. It’s it’s part of who I am. And that’s what’s so much fun. I mean, what you do for the kids, underrated, is pretty unbelievable first off, but that’s what it’s about in professional sports. At some point, you got to get back. Feel like there’s a responsibility. I Hunter was talking about that yesterday. Just to give them something to look at, be inspired by, give them some juice in the game. That’s right. Show them who you really are. Like that’s right. That’s that’s what we’re here for. That’s it. When did you get this butter? Uh about five days ago. Oh wow. Nice. Did you get fit fit for it? Yeah. I had the um I had the center shafted one for a minute, but then they got the heel shafted version. So the one they had on the it was shafted on the line and then that this one they put towards more towards the heel, which for me is more traditional of a look cuz I’ve never had a center shafted putter ever. You’re more comfortable with that. But I’m a tinkerer. Chasing my tinker. That part. Yep. Tinker bell. So I go hit straight putts. I just love hitting dead straight putts. Get my starting line right.
