Cool for the trainer, smaller circuit, 1st graded stakes win…Vekoma doing well…over 1,000 wins for trainer ,ml was 6 to 1, had won 3 in a row ..now 4
BARNES WAS WORTH A LOT OF MONEY BUT NEVER MATERIALIZED!! MAYBE WITH SOME TIME OFF?? HE CAN IMPROVE!! CONGRATS TO THE EVENTUAL WINNER!!❤

You are a stealth camera man recording your videos for PA Derby Day. I was looking around for you even though I do not know who you are but figured I would look for the guy at the paddock and during the post parade with a camera but I could not scope you out. Of course I would not disturb you during your recording. I was there in person but didn't get to see all of what you captured so kudos to you for doing it so well. I bet Fire Pit only to win and I was kicking myself seeing that he paid $30.40 to show. Of course the reason being Barnes running out of the money. One of those moments I wish that I was an across the board bettor. At those high odds for Fire Pit I really should have bet him across especially since I really liked him to win the race. This is one of those races where you should take a chance at longshots winning in all positions. Paco Lopez on the #7 Mad House loves winning at Parx and we saw the connections of the #2 Gateskeeper hanging inside the winners circle before the race went off and my pick of #8 Fire Pit could have rewarded me with an almost $4,000.00 Trifecta for .50 cents or $3.00 to box all three horses. What a lousy trip for Barnes. Why was he last for so much of the race, and then with so much to make up, I thought he did great passing all those horses to be 4th and he also had to do it running on the far ouside! Is Barnes running style to always be a closer? He moved too late to close the gap. I felt bad for Barnes. Also Barnes was overheated and wet in the paddock area. I think he really is a nice horse with lots of talent and upside. Running last late in the race gave him too much ground to make up.

in respectful response @charleslockhart6778 you might want to look at the history of one of the legends of all time.Sold for more (decades ago), came in 4th. went forward" into history" yes, history..Out of respect i won't write of whom i'm referring.
Secondly, I see no mention of your position or level of expertise at the track. Mr Baffert is a legend for a reason and you didn't acknowledge his process /thought when he…or the team , purchase.Please "listen"
My only other comment is…..please …watch.Look behind you & never, oh never count a horse… out. Way to go (Barnes). Sir again, Always watch behind you 🙂 you never know .

bad riding for Barnes. He was left far back to far and didn't let him go loose until it was to late. I am sure his team learned from the mistake and will not do so again.
Hes not a sprinter. Hes a miler and was never that good in the first place.
