A wee catch up on events since we were last here including the Scottish Boys format changes, Live Golf not receiving OWGR points and is the DP Tour doing the right thing..?
The rhythm of the swing never changes. Is it long enough? They’re beginning to applaud and quite rightly show. That is a simply magnificent shot from Colin Montgomery. [Applause] Glory is the winner. [Music] Not a million miles away, is it? Hello and welcome back to the Top Golf Scotland podcast with me, Stuart Whiteford. And today I’m joined by Andy Mccardi. Hello. I’m Peter Whiteford. Good morning. And Donald’s back. Donald’s back. Have you been away as well though? Cuz I haven’t heard you just chatting recently. You you guys, not use. Use isn’t a word. That is if you’re from Scotland, Stuart. We’re not all privately educated, you know. You can’t even say privately. Holy. Oh, you’re better watch yourself. Today, as always, we are brought to you by the number one commercial finance broker in the world according to us. Um, Brabin Finance. If you want to find out more about what Brabin Finance can do for your company, please visit bdalabinf finance.co.uk. Now, Donald, um, the last time we heard from you, you were well happy. I was happy. I wasn’t as happy as you made me out to be. See that use word again. You kind of edited it quite well to make me sound rather silly. However, I’m glad you did edit quite a bit of could have been a few beeps. There was a lot more in to that voicemail that you left in. Yes. So, I died at that stage it was about uh 2 2:00 in the morning uh at an all-inclusive resort and uh I’d managed to meet some local Mexicans. So, um I can say no more than that really. You make friends with everybody, don’t you? Like you just, you know, in Mexico you make friends. Invited to their wedding. They be the best man or something at their wedding. Yeah, probably. Probably. It’s It’s easy buying folk a drink when it’s an all-inclusive resort. That’s right. I’ll get them. It’s fine. Yeah. But there’s there’s been a lot of comments um enjoying your happy uh comment. You happy your phone in your phone but and people asking that that you know this should happen on a on a regular basis. So I think we need to actually just pay for you to go on holidays around the world and just do phoneins and that will be the new segment. Well I actually think that sounds like one of the best ideas we’ve ever had. Mhm. Yeah. I’m up for that. if we could maybe even get a sponsor for it. There’s this flying economy, you know, I prefer if I’m going to do that as a job, I prefer business class or something. Okay. Well, well, if anybody’s out there uh willing to sponsor Donald on his trip around the world, um please get in touch soon while the weather’s like this. Yeah. Peter, you’ve also been on holiday. Who are you? Yeah, but I’ve been back since then. Um, yeah. No, I was away in Tur Turkey. But I’m sure we’ve done a podcast since I’ve been back. But yeah, know I had a nice holiday. It was good. Back to the Oh, maybe you did. I can’t miserable storms and everything else now. Yeah, it’s all back to reality. And is it was it Andy? Anything you know? No, I’ve I’ve not been away anywhere unfortunately, but I’ve just been Well, I went on a we weekend weekend golfing trip to we went we went Preswick way. So, we played Kani Barassi and we played Don Donald. Donn gets better every time I play it. I really enjoyed Don Donald. I wasn’t that keen the first time I played it, but really enjoy it. But apart from that, I’ I’ve not been up to much. Just reordering clubs for next year and a lot of the new brands changing. So, just been having a look at things like that. Yeah. But no, no holidays for me. Are they getting more more expensive next year, Andy? Or Well, dropping in price. I I don’t know yet cuz I haven’t seen many of them. I’ve got next week and then the week after I’m seeing most of them. But there is a rumor that uh a couple of them aren’t getting any more expensive and a couple of them have maybe dropped slightly in price. So maybe going the right way. So it could be cheap as chips next year. Doesn’t say we’re going to be cheaper, but No, I I think well hopefully they’ve hit their limit and they’re maybe kind of coming backwards a wee bit, but yeah. Well, we’re just having that chat with Peter yesterday, how people are quite happy to spend £550 on the new driver, but not quite so happy when you charge them 35 quid for half an hour’s lesson. Why? Why is that, Donald? People just want to the easy answer. They think, “Oh, well, if I buy something new, it’ll work instantly.” Whereas, if you go for a golf lesson, you’ve got to actually work at it and change it. Yeah. That’s the analogy I use all the time where people say if you go to the doctor and a doctor tells you what’s wrong with you, that doesn’t make you better. You’ve got to actually take the course of medicine and these we white golf balls, that’s your pills that you’ve got to take. You’ve got to hit them to get yourself better. Yeah. And do what you’re told. I like that we story. That’s a really good one. Donald’s always got these ones. Little clippets. Yeah. What’s Give us share them with you cuz you Yeah, I like that. Well, the other the other one I use all the time is I’ll ask them, you know, can you play the piano? And most of them say no. I said, well, go and buy the most expensive piano in the world tomorrow. It won’t make any difference if you can’t play it. Yeah. So, buying a new club will not make any difference, will it? If you can’t play it. Correct. It’s the analogy. I wondered why my fittings were getting quieter. And I’d saying exactly the opposite. Go and buy a piano. Honestly, it plays itself. Lessons will no work. Lessons will no work. You just need, you know, you need a draw by his driver to fix that place. The more expensive, the better the club. Oh, well that’s good. Uh I I’ve done nothing. I’ve nothing golf wise. Um I have had a hearing test though. Um because I went into I thought it was a joke cuz Lizzie sent me to Spec Savers. This is a joke. I’m not going in there asking for a hearing test. I’m here for a hearing test. So, I went to I went to spectators cuz they’ve been shouting at me cuz I can’t hear the TV and stuff and I’m always like missing what they’re saying and stuff. So, I get eventually I’ve given it we we can we can, you know, agree with them cuz it happens in here often. Exactly. Well, do you know where where I really struggle is in in the if you’re in a pub or a group of people and I struggle to keep up with the conversation. I’ve always I’ve always suspected it was just because I was pissed to be honest, but but apparently it’s Mah. So yeah, I’m kind of deaf in one ear and so I might have to get a and well I’ve been referred to the doctor to talk further. So it’s just your left ear. I I so yeah that’s that was that’s been my thing. So So they do hear intestine spec savers. Yeah. I never knew that. Yeah. Uhhuh. I wonder what world you guys live in sometimes. Why? Well, just thought it was for your sight. They advertise it all the time. Do they? Yeah. Maybe you can’t see it though. Certainly didn’t hear that. There you go. Um anyway, so but there’s been a lot the the the big news in Scottish golf has been the weather. You know, there’s been bad weather. Have you noticed? It’s been horrific. Everything is flooded. The golf courses are really wet. It’s it’s it’s been ming. The thing is I think as well at this time of year is if once they get water logged at this time of year, it’s not going anywhere. You know, it’s a long winter. It is. It’s a long winter for a lot of golf courses. Obviously, you’re fine if you’re along the coast, but yes, this this could be it. We’ve been pudging balls, although I managed to get the morning off this morning for this great, but we’re picking up balls by hand every day. It’s it’s crap. This is still Well, it’s November today, but uh yeah, when you start that in October, it’s a long Yeah, it’s going to be a long winter along. I mean, I sometimes when I see out there picking up the balls behind that, I think I really should go out and help them. But it’s a very it’s a fleeting moment. Then you just go and make yourself a cup of tea. Yeah. Speak to Shona. Get back in the car and put the heater on. Yeah. Oh well. Oh well. Um but yeah, so we’ve obviously not been in action for 3 weeks mainly because it has to be is it Andy’s fault, you know. Probably. Uh no, there’s not but it’s been kind of a sleepy season of golf and we’ve been we’ve had other things. People have been on holiday in Mexico. Um and yeah, we just we’re taking two or three weeks off, but it’s Yeah, there’s not a lot going on, is there? It feels well there’s an element of RDER Cup’s finished, majors are finished. It’s kind of like everyone’s like golf season’s over a little bit. I know there’s still tournaments going on, but you know, like something that’s really going to grip your your enthusiasm to watch it. It’s just like died off a wee bit and I can see that with people um lessons even lessons have died down a we bit this time of year, which always happens anyway. But it’s um yeah, people just kind of Yeah, we’re waiting for the masters. Come on. Come on, Augusta. Uh but then remember there was that sorry we’re g now there was that winter Augusta and it was crap I didn’t enjoy that. Yeah. Uh yeah but they still go too quick this the season’s too quick for the majors as we’ve all we’ve talked about before feels you know with the the PGA moving between before the open being the last one’s murder isn’t it? Yeah. Yeah absolutely and yeah absolutely yeah this scheduling’s been a bit strange um and now this is what we get. Nobody’s really that interested. But anyway, because we’ve been off for three weeks, there has been at least there’s been some things that have happened in three weeks that we can talk about. I know the first thing I was going to start with is it’s uh and it’s close to it’s obviously close to my heart. Um is the the change in format, the Scottish boys championship uh for next year, which Scottish golf announced I think last week. So we’re you’ve probably all heard this stories and had heard people talking about it, but we’re going to give our tuppins worth. Uh so yeah, Scottish Boys has changed it format again. It used to be in our day um 256 boys and it’s straight up match play from day one. So 128 64 32 16 84 2 1. Well done. Uh that was quick as well. I was quick at that. That was good. I was impressed. I was actually impressed myself. You did that as a player as well, Stuart, didn’t you? I I I finished it the one. I just thought I’d throw it in before you you were itching to get it in somehow in this conversation, but I thought I’d just throw it in. I’m past that. And it was in April. and it was in April. So then Scottish Golf moved it to the middle of the year uh where and added a qualifying couple of rounds before you qualified for the match play. I think was it 64 qualified for the match play the last couple years and they’ve decided they need to change it again. Uh so they’ve now turned it into just a 54 whole stroke play event and I what have you got any thoughts before Oh I need to ask a couple of questions. I’ve not followed it that closely. I’m not going to lie. So in yesterday year in our day there was the there was the the match play tournament and the stroke play tournament. Yeah. So now what you’re telling me is there’s are they turfing one of them or is it just two stroke players 154 and 172? This is going to be well this will still be I would imagine still a closed event. So uh as in only open to Scottish golfers they’re they’re getting involved with the girls. The girls are playing alongside us the boys us. Uh so 112 boys and 44 girls playing 54 holes, two rounds, then a cut, then the last two rounds mixed. But to answer your question, there is this still the stroke play which is an open event. So So this is a this is a closed stroke play. The other one is a stroke play, but it’s not closed. So we’re one of the only countries that do this, right? Because obviously like Stuart, my pal was up yesterday, Stuart Davis, guy used to play in tour stuff with, but he was saying England’s just got the English open, whatever you call it, the amateur, the English stroke play tour, but they don’t have a match play. They don’t have a closed event. So we do they not have they not had it in the past? Not according to him. They get the he says it was the English and then it was just off to the British and stuff. There was no match play event for him. In terms of um that I don’t think he was the Irish do it. Um, I don’t know about the Welsh, but anyway, whatever. Well, what what I mean, this is our history, I guess. What What’s the reason for it? Is it because the fields weren’t getting big enough? Is it because we’re on exclus inclusivity? On the Scottish Golf website, they’ve said the shorter format is intended to make the event more appealing and accessible for all players and then in brackets and their parents, reducing accommodation costs uh and with the guarantee of three rounds of golf for all competitors. So just so so they’ll work to make it better for the poor we guys that were getting knocked out in the first round. Where has the balls gone in people? Correct. I mean I never entered a tournament thinking the entry fees the entry fee is like 40 quid but I’m only getting like a game of golf and my lunch you know since when was it important the val you know the value of what? I just don’t get it. I don’t get it at all. You know, it’s like November time as well. You know, you looked forward to the Scottish boys, right? Okay. Qualifying been getting your handicap low enough to be able to play in the Scottish boys in April. It gave you something to practice for, right? Throughout the winter, didn’t it? Uh, and it it was that was our major. I know it was early in the season, but that that was a major, you know, a week away bar or whistle bride, whatever it was at the time when you were playing it. But I’m sorry. There you go. Sorry. And I’m saying get a handicap loan not to qualify. There wasn’t a handicap limit in these days. It was just enter. Right. So, and the lowest 256 players qualified to play. So, if there was only, you know, 100 guys off three or better, the the other 156 was weighed out to four, five, six, even seven handicappers, I think, and getting one year off seven or something like that. Yeah. Uh but you still went there with hopes of, you know, greater things. But if you lost in the first round, was that a big I mean you were still there? Yeah. Like we’ve now got a situation where there’s 112 boys. I mean, forget the girls because the girls was always they were separate to so from the but the boys playing there’s 112. So there’s 144 boys not playing that they used to play. Which is a shame. I think it’s a shame cuz these these 144 boys that that are missing out felt as though they were part of something. Yes. And suddenly, you know, everybody going on mass to to Denbar, right? say you were staying away and uh you were mixing with better players all the time and that gave you something to focus and something to strive to uh which they’re missing out in that now because you’ve now got to be three or four to get to get into that. a few years ago. I mean, it’s going back a few years, not not too long a time, but I remember guys working really hard just to get their handicap down to be able to get in with no and you know, they didn’t really have any sort of um realistic expectations of of winning or going far. They just wanted to get to get in it. You say, yeah, they’re trying really hard just just to scrape into the into the event. Winning for them might be getting through the first round and oh yeah, I got through the first round. No bother. I did brilliant. You know, that’s that’s great. But there must be more to it like that. They’re they’re they’re potentially I think the amalgamation with Scottish women and all that has probably been you know they have to start doing things together and all that but there must be a lack of entries problem like there is across all amateur county club level all the golf but why why is that and I was I was I was thinking like saying to you yesterday Peter when we were kids and this these are the things that don’t happen anymore like mom and like nowadays parents need to take a week off work cuz their kids playing the Scottish boys or whatever. Yeah. Whereas in our day, our parents worked. They dropped you off the night before, maybe two nights before the tournament so you can play a practice round and you would uh be there in a cheap B&B dumped with your mates at 15 years old and fford yourself for a week. Give me a call when you’re knocked out. Yeah. Try and get accommodation walkable to the course. I don’t even remember. I was saying I was saying to you, I don’t even remember being dumped at the B&B and told where the golf course was or you just had to work it out. To work out, didn’t you? I mean, there was those yellow signs. You didn’t have Google Maps. No, but like now parents go with the kids and it’s of course that’s a more expensive elitist thing to do whereas we stayed in bed breakfast for 10 quid. I remember staying at the bed and breakfast at Scottish Stroley one year that we were it was around the time of Fred West was killing everybody and this was the dodgiest weirdest bed breed and I remember being absolutely terrified because I thought we were going to get you know killed. Did you sleep with your one iron in your bed? But you know the world’s changed so much now and now parents would never dream of letting their kid dropping their kids at a B&B with with their other mates and hoping for the best for the week. Yeah. And these bad guys were still around then. Just social media didn’t know about them. Well, social media wasn’t such a thing. Yeah. So, it’s got to be it’s got to be some something to do with that. I don’t know. Yeah. I mean, like people are up in arms about this. Um I mean, is it is it the fact that we’re losing history? Is it the fact that the you know, that’s got to be one of their quams, isn’t it? I suppose. Definitely 100%. That’s exactly what it is. Um but is it something to do with world ranking? But it’s all it’s all the world ranking points with amateurs. They’re massive into it these days, aren’t they, boys? Yeah, I would say. So, but it’s a closed event anyway. So, uh yeah. Okay. Um I don’t know. I mean, things move on. As far as I’m concerned, I’m on the fence the other way. I just look at this thinking we couldn’t fill the field. Um inclusivity fine. Um I just I just think yeah, I don’t know. I don’t know what I think. I’m not really that first like everyone else is first. But history is huge. Right. You know, you you keep going on about it. I’ve I’ve said this all the time about the, you know, the big events that open and all these events, they’re the best, right? Because of the history of it all and he’s agreed or he’s disagreed and then he’s agreed cuz we want all these elevated events which didn’t work, right? The big events are the one right with the history. If you can’t fill the field, Donald, I mean like Well, wait. No, but what I’m saying is back in the day, I know we’re talking Well, this is boys, isn’t it? God, I was going to say there was career amateurs, but no, they’re a bit old. All right. So, so you can get if Okay. So, if you can’t get 256 to play, that’s the field is 256 maximum. Yeah. Right. So, just leave it open. Right. So, if a 19 handicapper enters and he’s number 250 that enters, let him play. He’s involved then, right? Okay. It might get humped in the first round, but he’s suddenly going, “Right, I want to do better next year.” Yeah. Yeah. Do you think some of the top top players sort of boys maybe get a bit put off with it being match play? They maybe think with a stroke. That’s what that’s what amateur golf is. No, I I I agree, but I I just I don’t know whether some of the top players think, well, I mean, I’m just thinking someone like a Connor Graham. I’m sure he got knocked out very early. Was it last year got knocked out very I think it was even maybe first round, second round. Do they think well match plays maybe a bit more, you know, I need to get a bit more lucky, you know? I get what you’re saying. that that that’s part of the the um why these seven handicappers want to play cuz there’s a chance they finally get to play with a Connor Graeme and maybe take that mantle. I don’t know. Um it’s like we say right anyone can win any round and when you go and represent Scotland against right playing against the home international what what format do they play? Yeah, I I don’t disagree with that. I’m just thinking trying to think more about maybe what they’re thinking. I don’t know. I don’t know. Are you thinking years old? Oh, I’m not playing cuz it’s match play. I I know I’d do much better in stroke play. You don’t think that at all, are you? You just think they’ll beat anybody. This is for me, this is all about the parents. It’s about the It’s about the parents. It’s about reducing it to two a two day or three day tournament the practice days a year. So, it’s about the cost then. So, it’s about the cost for the parents. For me, it has to be about that. Yeah. Because I don’t suppose there is many£10 B&Bs going about anymore. That is a problem. Yeah. Yeah. But it’s more expensive. Like I say, it’s much more expensive mom and dad’s stay. Yeah, definitely. And take a week off work. Um, I just feel Scottish golf, I don’t know. I mean, we should probably have them on at some stage, but I’d rather just talk about them behind her back. I feel like Scottish golf used to be this aspirational thing that, you know, if somebody walked past with a Scottish golf jacket on, I went, “Wow, there’s somebody. He must be a good player.” That boy or girl or whatever. Um whereas now I see the badge and it seems like everybody’s wearing it and it feels like it’s a political movement or something. It’s just it doesn’t have that. It’s just lost that for me. And I wonder how people kids see the Scottish golf nowadays. Do they see the Scottish boys as being this amazing thing that we want to go and play in or is it just kind of like I mean I was going on the the national championship. So Scottish golf Scottish golf union when we were kids was all about you know the fixist wasn’t just the Scottish boys and the Scottish am it was the Cameron Corbett vase. It was the all the events that you wanted to aspire to play in. Now when I look down there this is their um uh what you call it website fixture list. Fixture list is the word Donald. So the first event’s open to players of players of handicap of 54 or better. So is the second event. There’s women’s events, girls events. There’s there’s hardly anything. Actually, I would say more than 50% of these competitions are for handicapped golfers. And I think that’s not very aspirational for the young kid. Yeah, that that’s that should be for the clubs to organize. Even the counties maybe a we even the counties back then didn’t didn’t do it for handicapped golfers. It was all for the the the more elite. which was why as you aspirational you were trying to get in there and they’ve kind of lost that we haven’t they have and god it’s so difficult to not sound sexist right but uh the amalgamation with the Scottish ladies seems like the right thing to do but it feels like when you look at the website and I know there’s more you know it feels like everything’s there’s more about women’s golf than men’s golf and I just feel that that’s what I see when I look at the website and their social media stuff. I just see more about that and about a lot of it is about bringing people into the game and all that stuff and high handicaps and just I don’t know. I feel like maybe we’re alienating the actual the players that we were doing so well with. Do you know the top the top end golf? Yeah. The big question would be is has uh the top end and ladies game got better because of all this inclusivity or not? I don’t know. Uh cuz I remember, you know, being at at clubs when we had the British girls and we had the Scottish ladies and and things like and it seemed to be much more of an interest then as well than there is now. So I don’t think it’s just a men’s game, right? So I I don’t know whether they don’t seem to be capturing the imagination of the young kids as much. I don’t I don’t feel and and I don’t know what it is they’re doing wrong. Girls and boys, but yeah, Peter, you’re gone quiet. No, I’m just I’m just trying to think what the actual job of Scottish golf is. I mean, it’s Scottish golf’s job to to run um the the elite or is it to make sure that we’re building the game, which is more the handicap style. It’s more of getting inclusivity. It’s more getting all that which is which is basically one of their big jobs is to make sure there’s a lot more people taking part in the game. It’s not about the the best. So, that’s where that website in my opinion comes from or the the scheduling comes from. And part of that is commendable but it does then unfortunately that does take away like exactly what you guys have been describing. I don’t disagree with anything anyone said in this room so far which is very rare for me but I don’t know I just think you know the ladies for example um I teach one there’s only 14 of them that took part in the in the Scottish girls last year and there’s not a lot there so you know putting them in with the guys just to give them a little bit more I don’t know I don’t know I don’t know any answers I just you know everyone’s up in arms about this but the end of the day there’s not that many elite golfers playing so we got to change something cuz it’s just becoming a bit of a a a damp squid so I I possibly I I don’t know I I don’t know any answers. I don’t know enough about it to argue anyway. To argue either way and part of me just bl rubbish, I think part of me almost sounds quite What’s a damn what’s a damn squid? Squid that’s in the water. I don’t know. I just I don’t know. What do you think, Andy? Um I wasn’t listening. I was too busy thinking about what a squid was. Yeah, I don’t know. I mean, for me, I mean, you know, if the the numbers in the ladies golf are struggling, putting them into the men’s, is that going to entice more women to want to play? I don’t know. It’s not they put them into the but they’re mixing the events, but I don’t I but we’re confusing this like we started this off with the with the Scottish match play, right? So, whether it’s inclusive or not, it doesn’t matter. It’s just, you know, we’ve lost the history. I totally get that argument and I think that that’s one disappointing thing. But times have to move on and and there’s people looking at these numbers a lot. Times have to move on if they move on for the better. But if it’s not moving on for the better, they don’t. But if it’s change for the sake of changing, if it’s dying off and people can’t afford and I mean we are living No, no. There’s always been problems with money and this that and the other. But if we are living in times where the kids can’t really afford to do it, mom dad won’t let them do it cuz they can’t afford to do it. Then parents have to go then that’s the answer to make it three three rounds and it’s but that makes it even more elitist. Maybe Scottish Golf should focus on, you know, hiring out the local youth youth hostel for the week of the Scottish boys and have all the kids staying there and playing and being together and being away from mom and dad for a week. Maybe that would be better for Scottish golf rather than Do you know what I mean? Letting them grow up a we bit. Yeah. Do something. I don’t know. I don’t I I don’t know. Nobody knows the answers. But it’s it’s sad to see it reduced to a two three round tournament stroke play when we’ve already got a stroke play. You know, I just I don’t know. I I I think my biggest problem is this elitist thing is the seven handicapper at the club kid really thinking about wanting to play in the Scottish boys anymore. And I think probably the answer is no. He might not even know about it. I don’t think he does. I think that’s the issue now. Yeah. I don’t know. The amalgamation thing probably has never I don’t know. I don’t know if it’s really worked, but we don’t know because the game’s been going I find it difficult because you know the place through our driving range is really busy just now. We have been for three or four years. The place that the RNA have opened through in Glasgow. I’ve not been yet. What’s it called? Top Golf Golf. No, Golfit. Golfit. Uh is booming. Uh bringing new people to the apparently you go down there and it’s like full of all different sorts of types of people. Oh my god, somebody’s following me. Um, it seems to be doing really well. So, they’re bringing people into the game. Scottish golf, I don’t think Scottish golf need to worry about bringing people in the game. They should be focusing I feel they should be focusing on the high higher stuff that and being aspirational for us all to sort of something to aim at. I agree. Okay. But supporting clubs at the same time. Yeah. Yeah. Supporting clubs. Yeah. But I mean, it’s it’s our job to get help people into the game. Your your your club pros, your your golf clubs. Uh it’s our job to get people into the game and uh hopefully keep them in the game and and get them to aspire towards these things. I got just Farmer Bell out for your dad. Your dad. It’s your dad also. Yeah. Not our dad. Your dad. We all We all know that. That’s something we need to tell you, Pete. We all know that you’re the golden child here. Um, but yeah, you played there. Did you Did you do well with dad? No. No. Farmer Bill was rubbish. Yeah. No, but I was rubbish at that every single year anyway. I never enjoyed it that much at all. And the Dunh Hill is although it was massive money, I I never enjoyed the whole um proam format type deal, six hour rounds. It’s just a bit of a a damn squid. Andy, they do say miserable playing partners really in general. I mean, no, they do say the celebrity struggle that week just with the following crowds and things. So, I get it’s like it’s a funny week and actually they had really bad weather that week, didn’t they? Um when Fitzpatrick won it. Um so, that was when the sto was that no, when the storm was in I think. So it was delayed and finished on the Monday and all the rest but not get shortened as well. It’s a crap uh split to four holes. Crap time of year to play golf in Scotland. 5th of October. I mean it’s going to happen at some stage. You know they’re lucky it’s not happen more often. Anyway anyway um you Ferguson was our best finish in the the following week in Spain. Uh and also the next week also in Spain he was also the top finisher. This is terrible chat, isn’t it? Yeah. But no, you go to the European tour website, you’ll find out all these things. Y looks like the real deal, doesn’t he? You know what I mean? We talk about Bob, we talk about all these guys. I I look at Y when I see him on telly and I just think, you know, he looks like the real deal. I know there’s all the mental side comes behind it and then you don’t really know, but he looks I think he looks he looks quite special. I think he’s a guy that hopefully could possibly he’s got himself into contestion quite a lot. Yeah. Yeah. Last week in uh where were they? Qatar. Katar uh Qatar uh Jameson was losing his Scott Jameson. He was losing his card. He was lying 119th before the event. Needed a good week and he got it. That was pretty cool. Awesome. Very impressive. Awesome. If you actually look how he did it as well. I mean obviously a good start first round seven under when he has to do it. Um then the third round he was kind of falling away and then he was eight under for the last 10. The final round again kind of and then finishes five under for the last nine or something. So that he did it there on the back n both at the weekend that and for a guy that like no disrespect to um Scott would probably you probably class him as not a brilliant finisher in his career. Do you know what I mean? He was he he’s on leaderboards quite often never really he’s never really won he should have won a few. He could have won a few. Sorry. So for him to do that I thought was like back against the wall all that stuff. Whatever you want class I thought it was class act. So, um, very, very good cuz he was down there with Warren, um, you know, our old stowarts on tour if you like, and Mark didn’t quite manage it. Um, but J managed to keep his card, so it was great for him. I just counted up there. Uh, for the front nine that week, he was two over par. Yeah. For the bat n he was 18 under and the winning total was 18 under. Yeah. Uh, you just wonder why somebody like Scott and Mark struggle cuz they both swing it lovely. Game’s more about how you swing at, did you not know that? Is that is it, you know, but yeah, but they’re they’re they’re quality players. Uh and they shouldn’t struggle every year, but I mean Mark’s done it so often, hasn’t he? Uh you know I mean Mark was going to be a superstar at one point, wasn’t he? When he when he b on the scene touted as a could possibly be a ride a cup player and never never did it. But golf’s more about how far you hit it though, isn’t it? That’s why I like golf. Some of those speeds you get on there are quite impressive. 30 mph. You got one day I saw. Yeah, I can’t turn my neck since for about the last two and a half weeks. Where did the ball go, Andy? I didn’t see it. Did it stay? I blacked out for about 30 seconds on the range. Left or right? I mean, I have no idea. It did give me a warning about where the ball had gone, but yeah, I don’t know. I’d love to see what you would look like swinging 130 mph done. I don’t think it it’ just be funny, wouldn’t it? A coffin done it. His belly would still be fluttering away, wouldn’t it? Harsh still be rippling. It would still be rippling to this day. People that don’t know me will not realize that I’m quite as spelt as I am. Uh uh anyway, uh the big but the thing is I think what the big thing that they’re playing for apart from Maroy and Ram, who cares? Well, sorry. Apart from Mako and Ryan battling out for the top spot, um these 10 PGA Tour cards are um coming down. It’s coming down the wire. There’s just two events left. Um Eddie Peril, I was listening to the podcast with Eddie Peril. He does his podcast with Andy Cotter, friend of the pod, was on here a couple years ago. Um, and his point was he thinks that this giving the top 10 top giving 10 cards away to your top 10 players not already exempt is the worst thing that could ever happen to the PGA tour. You know, what company would give away its top 10 clients every year and then yeah so still survive and still survive. And then and then it’s come out in the last couple weeks as well that the the PGA Tour are getting five well sorry if you finish between 126 and like 180 on the PGA tour. So you lose your card in the PJ tour there’s this in that we’re giving away five spots every week to PJ tour players. So we’re going to get their drags. So yeah. Yeah. When it first came out, people were panicking like, “Oh my god, we’re going to lose. There’s going to be 40 Americans in the field every week.” They’re not. Well, if you’re finished between 126 and say 170, I think it is. You You go into a category on tour, which is roughly category 18 or something, but there’s only five spots per week for that category. So, you’re only losing five spots a week, but we are gaining. I don’t think you’re anybody ever panicked about that, did they? No, there’s a couple of guys giving, “Oh, Jesus.” Well, all the guys that lose a card in America get to start in Europe. It’s not It’s only five spots. And by the way, people online were. So, um, but you’ve also got to think like, let’s say you’re one of these Americans who lost his card and let’s say he finished 140th or something, you’ve got to hope that 126, 127, 128, 12, if they want to play, you don’t play. So, it’d be really hard. And the one thing I think really hard for for or one thing professional golfers or anyone I suppose in theory if you haven’t got like a an ability to plan your schedule or have kind of know where you’re going to be and will I get in, won’t I get in, that is awful. That’s an awful place to be and that that’s what you get when you lose a card. You’re kind of but that’s even worse cuz you don’t know if if if your mates that are just in front of you want to play then you don’t get as an American you won’t get a play. There’s also the side of the coin if you finish 126th say so you’ve lost your card in America. I mean, I’m just thinking if it was me, I would, you know, you’re probably going to get 10 starts on the PGA tour still roughly. Let’s just ballpark a figure and then just go play corn ferry, make up for it, and if things are going brutal in both sides, then you’ll run across to Europe at the end and maybe play a few your um I don’t know, Wentworths and all that. You’ll use your CA rating then, but in these big events, what big events? Guaranteed the whole year. Guaranteed at the whole year. Right. So, they are getting I think it’ll be a good enough category. I’m saying 18, but good enough. six could go and say, “Right, I’m going to play just the the top 10 events in Europe.” So, so they they get I think that what I read last night is they get the card that’s right below the guys that have kept the card in Europe. So, they’re in in before challenge tour graduates. So, they will get in everything, right? Yeah. Our guys going over there gets get their 126 card. So, it’s below everybody that kept their card, but you know, we’re next in. So, and that will go that’ll be the 10 guys and then it’ll be onto there. Just a hard thing to plan your schedule, isn’t it? Yeah. And the the Americans notoriously aren’t good at coming over the water, are they? You’re right, though. I don’t think number 126 in the States is going to take up a European tour card. Interesting. Who is it? Nobody. It’s just It doesn’t It’s just It doesn’t add anything to the field. No, that’s the thing. I think Jimmy Walker’s in there. He’s one of the names that’s kind of in there. But Jimmy Walker’s not adding anything to Europe. Do you mean? Yep. Yeah. Abs. Absolutely. How do you feel about the whole promotion demotion clearly becoming uh We’ve also got to remember if you are that 126, sorry, just before we go off it, if you’re that 126 and you decide you’re going to go corn ferry, for example. So cornfair, you get 25 spots to get back up to PJ tour. Whereas you come over Europe, um yes, you’re playing for more money than you would in a corn ferry. I get that. It will cost you more to come over, but you’re playing for more money, but there’s only 10 spots to get back to America. Yeah. So, um, you know, numbers there are stay in America. I I I it’s just a big balancing act. That that is what that is what as a professional golfer, that’s what you hate. You hate not knowing what your schedule is. You hate not really knowing what your plan should be. And a lot of it, I think, will just be played off the cuff and for the first year until they figure out like, you know, I’ll maybe try this for the first half of the season and then panic and run across there. Find themselves in no man’s land before they know it. I think it’s it’s it’s like a poison challenge to a certain extent. It’s been a negotiation between the PJ tour and the and the European tour and they the the PJ tour want our best players for obvious reasons. They want the best players in the world on that tour. And they’ve just gone all right well we’ll try and keep all of our guys happy by saying but you’ll get European tour cards as well. You the ones that don’t play so well where in actual fact very few of them I don’t think I’ll take take them up on it. Like you say it won’t know until we’ll find out. It’s just made the European tour even more of a stepping stone tour than it’s ever been. We’ll not notice them because we’ll not care about the names. Well, you will notice them if they suddenly come on and win the first two, three events. Well, yeah, but they’re the the drags of the PGA tour, you know. It’s Yeah, I don’t I don’t think they’re necessarily going to be our Who knows? We’ll find out. I don’t know. Exactly. But what do you think? I mean, what is your feelings on the fact is clearly a promotion demotion type tour now? Well, it’s or clearly a theater tour. It’s always been, right? So speaking to Stuart yesterday, he he agreed with it’s always been that way. So even back in, I don’t know, 10, 15 years ago, whenever it was there was always like, you know, you were playing European tour and you get good names playing, but you’re aiming to get to the PJ tour, right? I mean, I don’t care what anyone says, but there was at least in every event there was at least a few big names playing. Do you know there was at least half a dozen of your Sergios, your Darren Clarks, your Monty, they didn’t all disappear to whereas now there’s none. I mean the the big names in Europe in the last three events there hasn’t been one. Do you know what I mean? Dunh Hill you can argue just because John Ran played in the Spanish shooting. How long ago was that? I don’t know about 3 weeks ago or something like that. Anyway, so there’s hardly ever there’s hardly ever anyone that stays. So you know it’s it’s it’s even more of a stepping stone tour than it’s ever been. They’ve now basic what what you’re saying is right. It it was always that way about the guys they didn’t play in Europe to to do that but that was just a natural progression but now they’ve just said well this is what you do they’ve now just admitted right okay we the European tour has admitted we are a feeder tour they’ve admitted defeat almost that’s what they’ve done they’ve just admitted it now correct I I just I feel like you trying to think of an example right the premiership in England is and maybe they’ve Spanish League, would they be the top two in Europe now? Italy, give or take. Um, but they’re top level football leagues. Scottish League is not top level, but it’s still pretends to be top level because we still have people getting into the, I don’t know, the European Cup if Do you know what I mean? We’re still top level league. It’s just in Scotland. I’m interested where you’re going to go with this. But now, but you see, say, say see we did lose Rangers and Celtic to the Premiership and we got their drags. It really devalues the Scottish League and I feel like that’s what we’re doing. Yeah. Is that a bad example? No. No. That or I thought you were going to use the players as an example. You know, the players aspire right to do well in Scotland so that they can get a move big money move to England or Spain. That’s what they’re doing, isn’t it? Yeah. I just I just feel like it’s Yeah. I feel like it’s devalued more than ever. And you know, once you take these 10 guys out and they will play because there is a huge safety net when they come back the following year. Why would we talked about last year, will they go? will do not go. But if there’s a safety net, why wouldn’t you? They’re going to have crap cards in the States, but they’re still going to play all the non-s signature events. Loads of money over there, 500 grand for having a card without, you know, making a penny. Yep. I’m definitely going to go. Although you you saw Bob talking about it, you know, was he going to go, was he not? Cuz he liked his swim life, but he’s gone. He’s he’s gone. Yeah, for sure. But I mean, if he qualifies, where is he at the moment? Eighth. Uh, sorry. Bob’s um Bob’s no Bob’s well and he’s eighth but there’s only there’s four guys below him in the that are qualifying. If you’re to play devil’s advocate, right, you would say, and you said this in the podcast a couple a couple of weeks ago, um that you know who really cares who wins the European or merit, you know, do you really remember who won or merit last year or do you really care because it’s always a John Ramy never plays in Europe or Rory or whatever. I mean, so you know who finished third in order last year? We don’t really know. Um, so this is this is that you could argue argue that this brings value to the European tour because you get the chance to go and get that golden ticket whereas beforehand you finished seventh in the in the race to Dubai and you’re like, “All right, good season. Well done.” Do you know what I mean? If it was playing D devil’s advocate, there’s an argument for that. I I struggle to get interested in the majority of European tour sitting down watching it now. And now we’re going to lose what? Who we’re going to lose? Moron’s not going to be there. Fox isn’t going to be there. Perez, Menu Lee, McIntyre, you know what? These guys all go and then you’re left with even, you know, okay, there’s always somebody new coming up, but I don’t know. It’s just it’s not going to be even more difficult to watch it. But the race to the buy is just coming up or in a couple of weeks. So there’s the whoever wins the tournament, whoever wins the order of merit and and then we don’t really care, do we? I mean, you said that yourself. You’re like, well, you know, who cares about this event? It’s just, you know, this will brings in an extra kind of level of entertainment in terms of we’re going to be hopefully looking at these 10 guys or 10 spots and see who it could be. I think it’ll add to that tournament. I think it adds to the season. I know it detracts from the tour and in in the big picture, but you know, playing devil’s advocate, you could say that it brings something to the tour in terms of excitement for us watching it. We don’t get excited who finished the se who finished fifth in Northern American Europe last year. Nobody knows. Nobody cares. Will you know next year? Well, we will. Oh yeah, we’ll know cuz there’ll be a way. I get I mean Eddie Pepro’s 100% right as well. What I’m just saying there’s two sides to this story. I definitely think it’s going to it’s killing the tour, but at the same time it’s bringing us as a podcast. It’s bringing us something to get excited about. You know, I’m thinking about like Marcel Seam. I’m excited to see if he gets a car. Love for him to get one of those 10 10 spots. That’s almost more exciting than who’s going to win the Order of Meta. Yeah. Well, for me to give a who wins the middle because it’s going to be somebody that never played in Europe anyway. It’s just John Rammer or Mar. That’s zero interest. I’m quite interested in who’s going to get promoted from the league below to the Premiership every year, but only on the last three or four games. That’s not the time I got. That’s where we are. That’s why I’ve not done a podcast. There’s nothing to talk about. I don’t know. I just think I think I think I think it can bring some excitement. Well, okay. Well, you we’re glad you’re getting excited. Maybe it’s just getting excited. What else would we be talking about if it wasn’t about this promotion? No, it’s true. You’re dead right, Peter. It’s true. And they’re guaranteed purses for the next 5 years. I wonder what will happen after that. European tour, right? We It’s still playing for decent money. It’s playing for more money every single brilliant. So, you know, we’re saying we’re losing our best. It’s not like they’re playing for less money. We’re we’re playing for good money in Europe. So, you know, everyone’s like, “Oh, Cornfair is a bit better and the better players and all this.” You’re playing for more than Europe. Do you know what I mean? I know they’re playing for good money in the corner and all this. It’s a quality field and but and the edible argument, are they better than the European? It’s not about It’s not about the money. See if the see if the Lev Golf come in and go, do you know what? Are we are we too late? Have we lost that? I mean, somebody comes in wants to give us loads of money and become the best tour in the world. You know, the European tour wants to elevate again, but we can’t now, can we? Because we’re giving them all the players away. Well, you’d have to get rid of that. We’d have to stop that. We’re stopping that, guys. No more. If the Saudi money came in, yeah, we’ say, I that that strategic line we looking at, but at the moment, we’re using America. We’re we’re we’re, you know, piggybacking on them. Give us some money, America. Using America or they’re using us. Yeah. Give us some money. Yeah. A bit of both. And it happens in the ladies tour as well. They’re getting there so many spots. Not this year cuz it’s too late, but they’re getting it next year. They’re getting I think it’s five or 10 spots. They’re doing exactly the same. When are you starting your ladies podcast? I said I said to you yesterday, we’re going to if you wait on 10 years, I believe I believe the PGA tour there’ll be a European swing. Wentworth Scottish Open, Irish Open, and the French or something. We they’ll nick all our best events and it’ll be a kind of a world PGA tour. That’s how that’s why I think it’ll work in the end. Yeah. Well, the European tour has not been you not been a European tour for for years. I mean, you’d be lucky if a third of the events were in Europe. You’re traing off to South Africas and Asia and I mean, it’s that’s where these Americans, they’re not going to like these guys 126. They ain’t going to come over and go to South Africa, China, um, and all these sort of No, it’s going to become a world tour. Yeah, it will. It will eventually. Um, can we move on to the other the real world tour, the live golf tour if we must? only only because because in our absence they were moaning about the the the decision was made that the world ranking they’re not going to get world ranking points. Some of these some of these pros on the act tour are a little bit disappointed with this decision particularly Mickelson. Um but yeah what’s your thoughts on that? Are you glad or you do you think it makes any difference to anybody? Being slightly petty I’m glad cuz I just don’t like live. So I I I like it. I like their moaning about going there and being like, I just don’t understand why we’re not getting world ranking points. Well, you knew that. There’s still 54 holes. There’s still the ar the same arguments that there was before of why they don’t get it. I don’t understand why they’re still moaning about it. So, if you were starting up a tour, if you decided, right, Andy, we’re going to start a Top Golf Scotland World Tour. Yes. You’d probably go to the World Ranking people and go, “Look, we’re thinking about starting a tour. Are we going to get world ranking or what do we need to do to make sure we get world ranking points?” And then do that definitely rather than just well stuff I’m not speaking to them. We’ll just start something and they’re and not only that not only that but also go and start a tour and piss them off and then kind of you know come back and then ask oh can we get points it just annoys me. I’m over it. Yeah I I agree with everything you said Andy. Uh exactly same live thought they they could do it because of the the money. It just shows money can’t buy everything. doesn’t buy our interest. No, it certainly hasn’t done that. And that that’s the whole point of it, right? So, they thought, well, if we put this much money into it, we can do what we want, but they can’t. Do you know another thing that I think that live golf has proved is that there’s hardly any golfers in the world that actually matter really. Yeah. We were talking in every walk of life. Nobody’s irreplaceable. Yeah. Exactly. Well, you know, like on the live tour, do we miss even Bryson? I mean, really does he does do you miss them? We we we said last year it was great to have them back at the majors, but there’s about three of them that you care about seeing again. Yeah, it’s good having them back for the four majors, but there’s there’s always somebody new for me. They had to get more players. They had to get more of the players. If you if you had 20 or 30 of the top 100 at the minute over there, I think we’d maybe be saying differently like if Yori went, Yur Ram went, stuff like that, maybe, you know, they maybe have they would have more power. I don’t know if they anticipated that. Maybe they thought they would have got more guys jumping But even if it’s just a 48 man field, it doesn’t it doesn’t get your interest as much either. It it doesn’t for me, but but if they took, for example, like 5 years ago, sorry, I just want I don’t care that it’s Saudi money. It’s nothing to do. It could have been American money that’s done it. I don’t give a about where the money’s come from, right? It’s just the way the format hasn’t worked. Nothing to do with the money. from a personal point of view, I couldn’t I couldn’t care about where the money comes from. If if if they took like 5 years ago the top 50 guys in the world and they went to play live, then I’d probably watching Liv, but they didn’t like there’s not enough guys there for me to ever and I don’t like the way that it’s run particularly, but I would have to watch it if they took all the top players. I would I would watch it, but they would have to have proper promotion and relegation because otherwise you’re left with a stale thing. I mean McDevil was still in live next year. When was the last time McDevil had a good golf shot? And that’s one of the arguments why they’re not getting do you know what I think that world ranks because there’s no promotion and relegation as such. Yeah. I mean they’re saying there is they’re saying there are like Shiwan Kim for example. I he’ll get just what she Wang Kim. All right. He’s the guy that finishes last every week. Right. Um so we challenge to I don’t understand how he’s ever got involved. that it’s obviously something to do with he knows people, but um you’re someone like Westwood for example, he’d be he finishes pretty rubbish every week. Um but he’s been paid for 5 years. They ain’t they ain’t going to tough him out because they’ve paid him paid him to be there. So, you know, promotion devotion doesn’t work with some of these contracts they’ve handed out. You know, Martin Kramer’s not doing anything, but he’s probably been paid enough where you M whereas she um surname in case you misunderstand what I’m saying. Um he’s finished last every week, he will get he will get turfed out but the the whole thing is like like you said going back to what you said about um you know somebody fell off the face of the earth you know if Rory fell off face the earth we would miss him right and I probably think John Ram back in the day Tiger um but nowadays you’re not looking at I don’t know any of these guys I’m thinking maybe I think Bryson by the way yes I think we’d miss him playing golf but but you’ve missed him all year do you miss He’s still in the media every now and then, isn’t he? To keep us interested, but not nobody else in that tour really. You know, Cam Smith, I I I think we could we could forget about him and it wouldn’t affect world golf. I do think there’s maybe two or three guys in the world. I feel like I actually think you could lose Scotty Sheffler and not really care. I know I hate saying that world number one, but I feel like so many of these golfers are so full of themselves is it’s actually unbelievable when you start thinking about it. Like thinking that they’re actually that important. Mickelson saying this week, “Oh, some of these tournaments are making hundreds of millions. You’re you’re only giving us 20 million. It’s a joke.” You know, like he’s making himself look worse and worse and worse. Comes in a greedy greedy man. But even Kley, I mean, I think there there’s there’s probably some truth in this Kantley and Schoffley and all that crap at the RDER Cup, you know, thinking they should get paid because there’s this amount of money. Who’s getting all the money? Why are we not getting the money? But it’s not there. Nobody turned on the rider cup to watch Patrick Anley. Nobody. And then the flip side of that, you’ve got Eduardo Molinari saying the European team, most of these guys would have paid to play. Of course they would. But also the the value in the RDER Cup hasn’t isn’t because Kantley’s playing or Schoffley’s playing or these guys. It’s because of the history of Donald’s history. Correct. Sevi, you know, it’s because it’s been close in the past and we remember all the things and that’s exciting. We’re going to win this time. We’re not going to win this time. It’s not because of the individual players. No. Give them a we bonus or something if you want. But like they’ve got bonuses written into all their contracts for pecking making the rider cup. Yeah. But they’re only earning like 20 or 30 million a year. It’s not a lot, you know. Yeah, that’s true. That’s true. Going back to the world rankings, right? So, so these guys in Liv aren’t getting the world ranking points. I mean, what the world rankings really mean for guys like that are just out there clearly just taking the money. So, it’s only majors, isn’t it? And then how many of them are really major players these days? I mean I don’t know. Well, yeah, there wasn’t that many of them anyway, was there? So, you know, it’s not affecting much, but they’ve made their bed. And then they’re asking for, well, you know, will they open give us five spots for for five live guys if we’re not getting world ranking points. I mean, it’s like you said that that’s a massive percentage of your tour that you want into for for spots being held in the open. Do you know what I mean? So I mean if you hel 5% in the the the European tour hundreds of them sectioning through and if you really want to play in the majors go and qualify for them there’s a qualifying round for qualifying events for them go and play that good you’ll stroll through them. The big the biggest thing for me or the most annoying thing for me with live recently about the guys is they’re constantly coming out and saying um that we are playing the best golf in like we have the best players in the world. We are playing the best golf in the world. How do you know that outside? No, you don’t. Brooks. How can you turn line winning most of the event? There’s only there’s only three or four of them moaning. Yeah, to be fair. Yeah. Well, the qu Yeah. I I would definitely if I was a big percentage of the tour. If I was 42nd on their tour, I definitely wouldn’t be shouting saying I should be getting into all the majors. I’d be sitting there going, I’m getting paid loads of money for this. But DJ never says a word. Yeah. And and he’s not. and you look at his major record this year, he’s not playing the best golf in the world, anywhere near the best golf in the world. So that that’s what annoys me. It’s like, how do you know you are? And like Brooks can say, I was really good this year. I Yeah, fair enough. But guys like De Shan, but what’s he done this year? He can’t say he’s one of the best golfers in the world at the minute. Well, you but you can’t prove anything. No, but they need to prove it. Like, do you know what I mean? It’s not like we’re sitting here going, “Ah, you know, he’s he’s right, so we have to prove it. He’s not.” He can’t say that. That’s exactly why they’re not getting not getting punched. Exactly. It was his choice. Kind of obvious dick. Yeah, I I think they’re all big dicks. But anyway, that’s good. Uh we all hate live now. I’m glad that you finally last even said the word there. Yeah, they’re doing it themselves now, aren’t they? Yeah. All right. But I mean like we all hate it and we all now agree that we don’t really like it. Again, if you’re a 35 30 year old golfer, Donald and you’re on tour and you you were offered tomorrow you were offered another 10 million. I I have no qules with any of them. You would go there, keep your trap shot and earn your money, wouldn’t you? Correct. But like so we’re not slag we’re not slagging the players for going gone for the money. We’re slagging the players that go and moan. Yes. And want said a cool thing this week I thought like when he looks back you you sure? Yeah. Well, it was just Yeah. Yeah, he was slagging off li. But he was he was talking about how he looks back on his career and he won a major and then he changed his swing and then he won tournaments, became a really good golfer for five or six years, he said, and he won six majors. He doesn’t look back and think about money, you know? I know money wasn’t an issue with Aldo, but like it should still be about winning trophies, shouldn’t it? I mean, you’re preaching to the wrong man, St. It’s Yeah. I I mean we said before I feel like the majors almost could have no prize fund and you know people would still it’s like the like the Red Cup you know you would it make it less of a thing if there was no prize fund at the open or would we all just would the players all just want to win just as much as they always did but then we will lose out on that one thing we said this year which is which was brilliant about the majors where we thought it’s the first time and only time the whole year we get everyone together that only matter for two years I know Donald’s shuffling in his seat he needs to get off to lessons Donald yes so uh this week there’s Nothing going on in Europe. PJ Tour has got a crap event. So that’s exciting. Uh February podcast. Challenge to grand final. The challenge tour grand final. Um that’s it. See you later. [Music] [Music] Heat [Music] Heat.
