The William Floyd Board of Education recently recognized members of Century 21 Cor-Ace Realty for their efforts in organizing the 27th annual William Floyd Scholarship Fund Golf Tournament. This year’s running of the charity event was extremely successful, with a tournament record of $32,000 in scholarship money being raised for deserving William Floyd seniors who want to continue their education after high school, bringing the 27-year total to nearly $670,000 raised!

As a token of their appreciation, the Board of Education presented a commemorative plaque at the September 16 Board of Education meeting thanking Anthony Alfano, Anthony Coraci, Anthony Liberti, Al Walter and Gina Walter for their hard work and dedication in organizing this event and the positive impact they have had on the lives of the students who received these donations over these past 27 years.
