Construction is underway at Durand Eastman Golf Course in hopes of improving the course’s drainage system.
Monroe County Executive Adam Bello says this project will make the course more resilient in the rainy season.
Because of this project, some holes will be impacted.
He also says that due to this work, fall golf rates are in effect now for Durand Eastman.
“Updating our drainage system will improve future playing conditions, prevent water buildup, and make the course more resilient in the rainy season,” Bello said in a statement. “The project is anticipated to cause some disruptions in play, and we ask for your patience and cooperation as we make these long-term improvements to the course.”
To play nine holes with no cart is just $10, while adding a cart for nine holes is $17.
Eighteen holes walking is $13, while adding a cart will cost $27.
Fall rates will go into effect at Churchville and Genesee Valley golf courses later this fall.
