Other players to watch are Russell Henley, Patrick Cantlay, Sam Burns, Collin Morikawa, Harris English, Ben Griffin, J.J. Spaun, Justin Thomas and Cameron Young. There you go, Joe. That’s more like it. Outside chance for birdie here, Steve. 33 and 1/2 ft. Yeah, very outside chance. Looks good though. Oh, wow. That was unexpected. This man is on a roll. Steve, this screen is pitched so steeply from back to front. There aren’t a lot of positions to put a pin. Oh, did you see that divot fly? That was a big mama divot. And a great shot. Spectacular distance control up that hill with not able to see that green. Mad McNeely is going to play from the center of the fairway. Only 142. Oh, they both both he and his brother is going to have a little flatter flight. Maybe not though. Hitting this well in the air. This is right at it. That was a really good call. I think he tried to just hit it a high straight one. You’d think now Maverick McNeely’s second. Well, again, he did that before on us. That was like Hideki Matsyama fools us all the time. Playing with McKenzie Hughes today. This is his second at 16. Yeah. Always been a wonderful wedge player. This man has amassed an eon full of top 10. Birdie putt for McKenzie Hughes to take back the outright lead. work from his right to left a little bit, but through the shadows. Oh wow. Usually it’s difficult to read a green through the shadows, but Mackenzie Hughes had eyes on that one. Not surprising to see him make a 25 30footer. Now Kaziah second at what is his 17th hole. Wants to get off the the par train. And there you go. I think he’s going to make his first birdie of the day. Everybody Hughes to shoot 63 with two bogeies. I don’t know how about that. That is a nice comeback right there. Work it towards the flag that started from the edge and worked it back. Homer now be more conventional here with the cup. This look like a good line. Oh yeah, that’s the blueprint. Nice. So, I’d expect to see this pretty good. [Applause] Oh, great shot right there. And that was all about the angle right there. He had he had a decent lie as well. Firing that right side through. That was a line that everybody would like to take. [Applause] Beautiful, too. It’s a tough flag to get to and a difficult giving this a lot of barl left of the hole. And it gets quick as it starts moving that way. [Music] Done it. Yeah, that that sort of just sums up Russell Henley. Now the second for Ben Griffin at the third. Very good with these short wedges. Front flag. Can you control the distance? Yeah. Well done. Pretty straightforward. Straight up the hill. Carry it with some pace. I think this guy’s going to be very excitable. Throwing in a midflight. This has pretty good distance. Yeah, abbreviated follow through. Second on two inside 125 in proximity. And this is a little bit downhill about eight or nine inches outside the left edge. [Music] There you go. first 30 today. That That’s five events in a row that he has shot every round in the 60s. That’s all the way. Six paces back to 143 where he can bring it back off that ridge. Throwing this way in the air on a pretty good line. Yeah, that’s just when you have the right club and you’ve got the right vision in your hand. This this is one of those kind of gimme hole locations that you just have to take advantage of. the ball a little above his feet which will help him get that ball to move to the left also on a good line. I mean Scotty Shuffler I mean just following suit. All he needed to do was just see it. He’s going to try. Oh, he kind of fanned it, I think. Uh no, no he didn’t. He didn’t. That body language said it was going to be right. And he got it. He did. Vertical swing plane really leads himself to these short irons being very good. Yeah, that that was right over the flag stick. 2017 FedEx Cup champion can do. He can do that. to go out in 31. This is going to want to fall to the right. Looks good from here. Oh yeah. Oh yeah, that qualifies it really good. That is a great approach. Just 94 yards, too. That 3-wood was massive. Little lob wedge here. just short on. Yep. Yeah. Good read. He’s been putting the ball a lot better this year. Tom Kim not all that far away from just a couple of years ago where Max hauled out on the last hole and then you watched the How about that Tom Kim? We were just talking about hole outs and that’s about the same speed that Max’s pitch went in when he won. Let’s see if he can spin it back. Got some help from the slope behind the hole too and the spin. And so he’s going to have a good look. Not an easy read for him. It is. He makes a lot of putts look easy. Gary Woodland perfectly placed off the tea at 13. Little lob. There’s just 80 yards left up the hill, but not even a big one, I don’t think. Boy, on a really good line here if it’s the right number. Oh. Oh, that close to jarring it along with the green here at the second fencing. Little delicate thing. Oh, hello. Don’t mind if you do. Oh, that was a tough one there. It wasn’t far from the hole, but that ball was sitting down and shortsided on just on the ups slope. That from 81 yards and using that slope and the spin. That is really pretty. That’s a full wedge, too. So, this is going to have plenty of spin as well. [Music] There we go. Ah, that’s more Scotty like a guy who needs to make that little putt right there and cut into that frustration a little bit. Oh, this is a much more aggressive line. Right at it. Oh, is it? Oh, it almost hopped in. What a shot from JJ Spun. Take a look at this. And how close it came to a hole in one. Ben Griffin now his third at 15. That from 88 yards. Just a little left. Okay, not bad. Yeah, just a little left to right down the hill here. Just playing with so much confidence. He’s an excellent putter. He’s gotten longer off the tea. Moment ago at the 18th, Sam Burns for his birdie. Oh my goodness. It is magical watching him with a putter. The stats don’t lie. He’s one of the best on the greens on the PGA Tour. Man, he has a beautiful putting stroke. Moment ago on the T at 17, Cameron Young. That is a full-blown nine iron right at it. Not many players have hit a draw to that hole location on the right over there, but Oh, drawing it in there like Cameron. Yeah, that’s his go-to shape, though. Oh, another one tight. That one kissed the stick. Now, Watts again, the amter at 15. Boy, nice touch. Oh, yes. Perfection. That is He made that look so easy. And it wasn’t that easy. Not much green to work with. So now he’ll be hitting his fourth. Not the greatest angle. Not a lot of green there to the left of the green. That’s what we were saying there. It’s awfully tight over there from that angle. Needs a lot of spin here. It took a pretty good first bounce. So he’s got a long way to go. Oh, what a day for Ben Griffin. Boy, no kidding. Eight under par 64. No bogeies. Gets away with a couple of tough shots at 18 with a par. Mackenzie Hughes lead ends up being safe. He did have Ben Griffin on his heels, but that five at the last means Ben will begin tomorrow one back of McKenzie Hughes who will play in the afternoon. All those RDER Cup guys, Kurt, the 10 of the 12 playing, they play late early, so they’ll be playing early on Friday. Thanks for watching the PGA Tour. To watch more, click here. Straight up. Nice to know who it is.
Can't imagine the fun the players are having around this event. Farm to table food, exquisite libations, views, heaven.
Great video but maybe show some guys that are not on the Ryder cup
No tracers?
Much love from Kenya
Bmw championship is more interesting
The announcers suck
No video from Scottie on 18? That is horrendous. He hit from under a tree, played from another hole and ended up with a near birdie
