Hello, Gordon Swenus here. I’m the golf professional at Wentworth by the Sea. I’m standing on the 18th hole and unfortunately I hit my second shot into the water. What are my options? The first one is I can replay the shot from where I hit the shot into the water. Second, I take the line at which it went into the penalty area and the pin and keep that line and go back on that line as far as I want. The third option, I can go to the drop area, all costing one stroke. Now, let’s say I’m in the bunker behind the green and I hit my shot into the water. What are my options? One, I can drop it back in the bunker for a shot. Two, I can take it where it crossed the penalty line and keep the pin in line and go back on that line as far as I want on this side of the water.
