  1. For someone who is trying to make light of the incident and play "innocent" & accept his penalty without fuss & ado & just move on, he is making plenty of noise about it !

  2. It's a pretty big deal to be labelled a cheat in any sport, especially golf. The name sticks with you for a long, long time. Once accused, the peanut gallery is very quick to latch on and demonise. Thing is, we'll never know. Different for Patrick Reed – his was a very clear attempt to gain an advantage outside the rules.
