How bout topping the ball with my irons.
In the olden days, they only had forged clubs & had to set up near the hosel.
With today's perimeter/toe weighted clubs (where contact is made) you set up in the center.
A nice and simple tip. Thanks Chris as I’ve just upgraded my clubs and during my first round playing with them I hit more of these in one round as I have in the previous 6 months. Sometimes it just takes a simple mind trigger by trying something that may or may not actually work.
Now I completely miss the ball ❤
Nope
Tysm works so good I was just chipping out the back and kept shanking útil I watched this thanks chris
This works, also you can practice by setting up 2 balls. Address the outside ball, then swing and hit the inside ball. Then when playing, visualize your hitting that ball that would be inside of your actual ball. Your arms and hands will feel really close to you and maybe be uncomfortable, but you'll hit it solid.
Sounds very counterintuitive
This doesn’t address the REASONS why you shank.
I naturally decided to do this during a session at the range last week and it worked wonders.. will see if on the course it helps on Sunday 😂
