This is a ‘turf tee base’ (and tee) from @golf_ice_tees
.
They have a few different interesting designs to choose from similar to this model along with a new training aid that they have been working on as well that I will get onto later this week
.
These tees and tee bases are actually designed to stick into certain range mats, and as you can see here into the ground as well
.
When the tee base is screwed into place you can insert a tee with the height of your choice and it will hold it in place
.
It’s designed in a way so that when you hit the tee it will fold down into the tee base allowing them to last longer and prevent them from breaking as easily while also offering less resistance than normal
.
The benefits of these are that it saves you having to look for your tee every time when your on the range but also when your on a simulator or in a range bay you can also choose your choice of tee height easier while also not having to use those giant thick rubber ones
.
One of the other designs has a holder that you can clip to your belt / pocket / bag for when your on the course
