#1 Most Misunderstood Rule in Golf!

Hey guys. So, uh just wanted a quick video here. A lot of new golfers out there and I see that people don’t know how to play uh necessarily by the USGAA rules. I just hit my T-shot. If you look here, it’s sitting right next to an immovable object. Um and the rule states that you’re allowed to pull it back um a driver length, so you have relief. Um it’s free relief. I’ll see a lot of people try to hit this or they’ll do something crazy. Um, so just just so everybody knows, quick tip for everybody out there. All you have to do take a and you can use a driver length. This is a little hybrid, but um yeah, basically no closer to the hole. You get a little relief. Uh I’ll see a lot of people drop it like this or drop it from here. But what I want to talk about is like a drop that is almost like a feather drop. uh in this situation. And again, for you new golfers who don’t know, what I would do, have a little tea in your pocket. Make sure nobody’s looking or anything. And then kind of put it put it in the ground and just kind of lightly drop it almost like a feather. Uh and then you see we got relief from that guy. And we have a great lie. come in, you’re over your ball, and you just hit it real nicely. Thanks, guys.
