If the worlds tallest person had the worlds highest vertical jump how high could he dunk?

if the world’s tallest person ever had the world’s highest vertical jump ever how high could he dunk well the world’s tallest person ever was Robert wadow at 8′ 11 in and the World Record highest vertical jump is 50.5 in by Isaiah Rivera Robert Wow’s wingspan was 9′ 5 in and if you do all the math in proportions you’d find that his standing reach was probably around 12′ 10 in which means if he just stood there with his hand up he could almost touch the top of the backboard and if you take that standing reach and add the World Record highest vertical jump you get a little over 17 ft which means if Robert W could Palm a basketball and had the world record vertical jump he could probably dunk on a 16 and 1/2t rim

  1. What if he also had the speed of an antelope, the strength of a polar bear, and the tenacity of Dwight Schrute?

  2. The fact that black people were not contributing factors in this is simply the most astonishing thing ive ever heard

  3. Except the best high jumpers im the world easily get more than 50" off the ground with one foot. I got around 48" (7' 1.5" HJ) and I was not close to the elite jumpers.

Stefan Holm had a CoG at 2'10.5" and High Jumped 7' 10.5". Considering his arch, he still raised his CoG by about 58".

  4. The one problem is that being that tall means you’d have a hard time doing those types of jumps due to our biomechanics and the square cube law. Shaq is kinda an exception but he’s at the max height someone can really move around at. Once you reach high 7 feet- 8foot+ territory, you wouldn’t live very long neither would you be really agile and quick.

  5. 12’10 seems a little too high a standing reach considering most 7’6 guys standing reach is a little over 10ft even less

  6. i mean he is 272cm, im 5'5 and i have a 275 max reach. If i jump my highest i could barely touch his head lol
