CBS Laughs At Trump After Busting Him Cheating On Golf Course

Hello everybody, David Schustster here. Donald J. Trump, also known as the charlatan from Queens has made news, not by d of policy or statesmanship, but by an act more suited to his peculiar genius. Trump caught on camera cheating at golf. And CBS News is having a field day. All right, President Trump has been hitting the links at his golf courses in Scotland while negotiating trade deals. The cameras have been following his every move. Of course, even capturing the moment that Trump’s caddy may have been a little too helpful. Take a look. Uh, all right. So, the look at the caddies, right? Keep your eye on his caddy. Oops, there it goes. Right. Maybe drop that what to watch banner to see it. But there’s a ball that goes rolling out of that dude’s hand. No look. Look at that. What’s supposed to happen? Well, not that. Not that. As a golfer, you are supposed to do your own drop if if you can’t find your ball. And it has to be close to where your ball it has to be from the last place that you played and you get a one-stroke penalty when that happens. Not your caddy just doing a no look pass. And when it’s behind the back, that looks a little suspicious. I mean, it was so so suspicious. Now, let’s be clear. This is not really news. Trump cheats at golf the way a hungry goat eats tin cans indiscriminately, compulsively, and was something approaching joy. And yet Trump claims to be a golfing champion at all the resorts he owns. And therein lies the obvious problem. Back to Vlad Duthier at CBS. I think it’s because Trump’s always talking about how great his hand is golf. He’s like a 2.6 or something. And like come on, bro. You can’t be doing that. According to Trump’s caddies, old man orange does it all the time. Balls disappear in a bunker and miraculously reappear near the cup. Impossibly low scores are inscribed on scorecards written in the hand of Trump or a sickle fence. Sports writer Rick Riley describes Trump as the commander in cheat. A nickname perhaps too kind by half. He cheats crazy. He cheats whether you’re watching or not. He cheats whether you like it or not. He tried to cheat Tiger Woods in a match and Tiger hits it like this. He hits two balls in the water. Doesn’t count either. And and pretends that he almost tied Tiger Woods. So it doesn’t matter who he is, he has to be the winner. Sound familiar? Trump has to be the winner in elections, in television ratings, in business, and in everything else, including golf. And Trump has connected his self-proclaimed winning at golf to his political campaign messages. But he said, “I’m a winner. You got to vote for me cuz I’ve won 18 club championships.” He said this three or four times. And that’s against the best players in the club. But I knew he was lying because he told me how he does it. whenever he opens a new course that he buys, he plays the first round by himself and calls that the club championship, puts his name on the wall. So, in other words, Trump cheats. Now, that may not be surprising to anybody who’s followed Donald Trump’s business career or his presidential impeachments or his marriages or his efforts to rewrite the history of the 2020 election that he lost. Still, Trump’s golf courses, including Turnberry in Scotland, seem to have a special place in Donald Trump’s heart. He has told friends he rever his clubs and the opportunity to play on the links. Even this past weekend when Trump was asked about seeming to be in a particularly bad mood, he spoke happily about playing golf. Was it a bad morning golf or why you not in a good mood? Uh no, the golf was the golf was beautiful. It’s golf can never be bad. Even if you play badly, it’s uh it’s still good. If you had a bad day on the golf course, it’s okay. Uh, it’s better than other days. But most days on the golf course, according to Rick Riley, Trump cheats. Although Trump usually doesn’t get caught because he has a group of enablers and co-conspirators. So, I snuck into the Bedminster Catty Shack at in New Jersey with all the caddies. And I said, “The president says he never cheats.” And they all go, “No, he never cheats.” And then there was this silence and I go, “Oh, you guys cheat for him.” And they all laughed and they told they have three or four balls in the pocket. They throw it out of bunkers because he hates bunker shots. They throw it out of the rough. You know, he kicks the ball out of the rough so many times the Caddies call him ple. Those are Trump’s own caddies. His own employees calling him ple and making other soccer jokes. One imagines their reaction to CBS and other news organizations mocking Trump is probably along the lines of spot on. Even people who have played golf with Donald Trump say he cheats. Here’s famed boxer Oscar De La Hoya. First ball he hits to the water. Gets another ball from his from his pocket. Hits it off to the left. It’s out of bounds. The fourth ball he hits it. I I know it went into the bushes. We couldn’t find it. But Donald, what he does, he he tees off first so he can take off right away. We go off to our ball and who do we see? Donald Trump right in the middle of the fairway. Oh, by the way, I found my first ball. Donald Trump is a cheater at golf and so much else. Now, by most accounts, Donald Trump is actually a pretty good golfer. Experts estimate he’s around a 10 handicap, although he claims two and a half. Still, for all of Donald Trump’s success driving from a tea box or putting on the green close to the pen, and this is video he released over the weekend on social media, Trump has still been recorded by news cameras showing terrible form. In this video from a few months ago, he was about 30 yards in front of the green with a straight shot at the flag. Oh, he shanked it. Ouch. On the green, Trump’s putting can also be a hot mess. In this video posted by Bryson Dashambo’s YouTube channel, Trump flings his putter head at the ball instead of keeping things steady and smooth. Could happen. Go. It didn’t break that hard. Could be. Get in there. Get in. Get in. Good speed, though. Observers counted 11 different Trump misses in that d the shambo video posting. Trump’s cheating is not just in Trump or his caddy picking up and moving golf balls or writing absurdly low numbers in a scorecard. Trump’s courses have also been caught breaking the rules. Fourth Trump golf course appears to be violating law by using presidential seal. An Instagram user recently posted a photo of the seal at the Trump Golf Course in West Palm Beach. On the fairway of the 18th hole, the marker reads 45th president 45 yards from the hole. Beautiful. Beautiful. According to federal code 18USC section 713, it is against the law to use the presidential seal in a way that could convey the impression of government approval or sponsorship of private sector businesses. The West Palm Beach Golf Club is the fourth Trump property to feature the presidential seal in clear violation of the statute. Now, back to Trump getting ridiculed by CBS News. Trump has been taunted before his golf courses. Last year, a Democratic pack placed billboards near his course in New Jersey. Attention Ben Mr. Golfers, Trump cheats. Through the years in Florida, banner planes have buzzed Trump’s golf club at Mara Lago with messages including Trump worst president ever and Trump, you pathetic loser, go back to Moscow. It’s not clear if Trump ever saw the banner planes or the billboards or the coverage of his weekend golf cheating in Scotland. And like, come on, bro. You can’t be doing that. And if he did, he would probably never admit it. Trump likes to insist he’s a tough guy with thick skin who can handle things and ignore things thrown at him that would crush everybody else. But Donald Trump clearly cannot handle losing or falling short at anything. So he lies. He lies while playing golf. He lies while making trade deals. He lies while talking about Jeffrey Epstein. Donald Trump is the ultimate cheat. Still, we can all take some satisfaction in knowing that Donald Trump is being taunted now over his cheating and laughed at, even while he’s trying to get some vacation time at his Scotland golf course. Mr. Trump, Mr. Trump, can you escape the Jeffrey Epstein crisis? By the way, Donald Trump’s recent trade deal with Japan is now getting blasted by economists. Okay, so this is how you fool a president who doesn’t understand economics into thinking he’s won something. Remember the tariff here is the tax that Trump imposes on Americans. He’s reduced that tax from 25% in his threats to 15%. But actually that tax before Trump way back in January was about 2%. So what the the biggest thing Trump has done is he’s raised taxes on Americans who import goods from Japan from 2% to 15%. Check out that video at the link below.
