I test out the latest mold from Infinite Discs. This is the Artifact in the C-Blend Plastic. This straight to understable putter can help you shape shots on any course and has so much glide. See as I compare it to the Watt from MVP and Proxy from Axiom Discs. Let me know if you would bag this type of disc. Thank you as always to Infinite Discs #teaminfinitediscs #infinitediscs

This is the latest release from Infinite Disc, the artifact. It boasts numbers of 2, 3, 1, 0. But does it actually fly like that? Let’s find out together. Time to fling this Frisbee. [Music] This is Maple Creek, a short 9-hole course. I haven’t been here in a while and there’s been some upgrades which is great to see including actual teapads which did not exist last time I played out here. So I figure this is the perfect putter course to try out this disc. You might say it’s the perfect precision putter practice. It’s the perfect precision. It’s the perfect putter precision. It’s the perfect precision putter practice place. Yeah. Nailed it. Let’s talk profile. Pretty broad overall. Little bit of a high shoulder. Here’s something to get used to. Pretty comfortable to grab onto on the bottom though. If you’re going to fan grip this disc, it feels okay. You just kind of got to get used to this angle that you’re seeing here with the shoulder kind of lifting up on the flight plate. Pretty blunt nose. I would assume this is going to fly relatively slow, thus it being the two-speed. So, I wanted to compare it to other putters of similar flight numbers. Now, I don’t bag anything quite as deep as the Artifact, so I don’t have something as a direct comparison, but in terms of numbers in flight, we’ve got the Proxy and we’ve got the Watt. Both of these are in the glow plastic. The Watt is relatively new. I’ve only thrown it maybe a handful of times. this proxy a little more seasoned. So I think should get a little more turn to help it compare more favorably to the actual flight of the artifact. But in terms of profile, it’s really not that close. You can see the artifact is taller overall and has a similar depth at the bottom of the actual disc. What we want to know is how it’s going to fly. And this is a great place to do that. Whole 180 ft. very heavily guarded by these groups of trees. Very low ceiling. Also have the creek on the left. I’m gonna start with the watt. [Music] All right, we’ll try the proxy next. [Music] Similar flight. Ah, all right. Lastly, new infinite mold. Oo, that’s parked. So, the artifact was definitely, I think, the glidiest of the three. It’s definitely going to take some getting used to with the depth and the profile of that particular putter, but can’t argue with the flight. I mean, I really couldn’t have placed it any better myself. Score one for the artifact. All right, hole two. And I’m just seeing construction back there, which is where hole three and four, five, six, seven, and eight all are. So, might not be able to get all these holes in. There’s also people randomly on the green. I’m going to go reverse sort and we’re going to do the artifact first, then the proxy, then the watt. Funny story about this hole. This was my second ace ever and it was on February 2nd, 2022. So it was hole number two, ace number two on two 22 two. [Music] Okay, little deep. Go proxy. [Music] Oh, that’s a bad throw. That looks good. That might go in. Oh my gosh. I thought I had it. I thought that was in. Well, this might be a really, really short video if I can only play three holes, but it’s looking like the back half of this property. Did they sell the back half of this property for new construction? That would be very sad. Which I don’t think they would cuz there’s new teapads on hole three. I don’t know what’s going on. It’s weird. I probably should have looked online. Well, the watt absolutely parked artifact about inside of 15. [Music] I think these are either just getting released in the grippy plastic, the deep lens, or they’ve just been released in the deep lens. So, if you like deeper putters that fly pretty neutral for your putting putters, might be something to look into. Let’s figure out what to do next. So, this is hole three’s teapad, but as you can see, there’s the construction fence. Used to play out straight down. It was about 240, 250, slightly downhill. I actually splashed out with a tomb on an ace run out here before. So, Uh, I guess I’ll play nine and then we’ll kind of loop back around and just try different shots to give you an idea of what this disc can actually do. We’ll try to make the most of it on this loop, I guess. So, hole nine would normally be the last hole out here. Par 3, 260 ft uphill. If you can see those kind of pink flowers on that tree over there, kind of want to throw something in that general direction. Peeling to the right. Forehand works really well here. Obviously, with an understable putter, we’re not going to try to flip up a forehand, at least not yet. uphill grading and then downhill on the back end of this hole. Your disc want to tend to fight back out of it and finish on hiser. Something to keep in mind, but I think under stable disc like this would fly great. We’re going to start with the proxy and then we’ll go with the artifact, then the watt. That’s going to be shortened on the flat top. This one a little more height. I think the more underststable of a disc you throw here, the better. [Music] That’s better. That should clear the top and then kind of be on the crest of the bottom there. [Music] Ah, it’s going to fall out. Okay. What’s kind of crazy is that I’m throwing two putters that are much shallower than the Artifact, but I don’t know. I kind of immediately forget how deep the putter actually is. It almost feels pretty normal in my hand, which for for me, like I said, I don’t throw really deep putters. So, pretty much what I expected proxy up here on the edge of the flat before it starts to drop off. Artifact held the line nicely. It’s over on the right hand side. Looks to be about 30 ft right, 35 right. Little short left is the watt. So, the artifact definitely had the most glide getting down there. Not surprising. Most understable. Throwing it uphill is going to glide a little more. Couple of up shots. Oh, proxy felt nice. I’ve actually got to look at a birdie. I don’t know if I’ve I’ve ever birded this hole with a putter. I just throw mid-range. Oh, I yanked it. [Music] Second go around on hole one again. 180 ft. Let’s go the archive again first. This time maybe I’m going to go left side. See if we can get a little bit of subtle drift. Very subtle drift. That’s parked again. So far we’re learning that is a dead straight flyer. Let’s go watt. Similar line. Oh, I fluffed it. That’s on me. That’s not on the watt. Well, I threw the proxy a little firmer and it still didn’t really tip over. It kind of just held straight and had very subtle fade throughout the entirety of the flight. So, that tells me the proxy is definitely more stable than an artifact right out of the box. And for it not being a putter that I normally gravitate towards because of the feel, it flies great. So far thrown uphill with turnover, it’s held the line. Throwing downhill flat, it’s gotten very soft drift to the right and just finished straight. Throwing it on a flip-up hiser, it’s kind of held that right line and then just had a very late small touch of fade. It’s kind of doing it all. I wouldn’t dare throw it in wind. Today is dead calm. It’s also like 94 degrees and it’s 8:00 at night. Welcome to Georgia. Archive again is parked. Proxy is a little further out. I knew I had to throw it just a little bit more committed to try to get some drift out of it. And even so, it’s still finished left of target. Don’t mind the water that I just spilled all over myself. If I have a drinking problem where I can’t drink out of a bottle without spilling it on myself baskets are doing work. [Music] I mentioned how hot it is and it’s, you know, still it’s still kind of in the 90s. We’ve also got some uh interesting looking clouds making their way in. All right, let’s run it back on hold to 200 feet again. Straight ahead. I’m going to try to get these to drift a little bit. I’m going to start with the watt, go high left, drag it over, proxy next, then finish with the artifact. [Music] That’s a little better. Still just kind of falls flat at the end. Starts to barely fade out. And a feeling that the artifact will kind of hold over a little longer. Probably with less effort. Well, not quite. That was less angle, less effort. Might try that again. More committed this time on that angle. Maybe on hold. I’ll do a sidearm. Or maybe we’ll do a chip shot followed by sidearm approach. Maybe I won’t do any of that. It is my channel. I can do what I want. All right, let’s try these again. We’re going to do the same order. I’m going to try to be a little more committed on the actual angle and the amount of pop I put on this. Better more driven on the Annheiser line. You saw that was the watt never hinted at getting over too much even though that was lower. That’s a great flying disc. Yeah, do it. Oh my gosh. There’s something about this hole. I just I can’t help but run it, apparently. Artifact. That’s holding. And that’s way past. Holy cow, that’s so glidy. That’s probably the most telling shot out of all the ones I’ve thrown so far. Let’s talk about that last flight. higher on Annheiser, a little more committed. I don’t think I put anything more on that than I did the Watt or the Proxy, but I venture to say that that’s probably 3540 ft further. And it held that right line on drift, but like the other two, there wasn’t really any danger of it cutting over too much, hitting the ground early, and then cut rolling back over. It had integrity while moving right, if that makes sense. And that’s a pretty unique quality in an understable putter. 40 ft might have been an exaggeration. Proxy, I don’t know how it did an ace. It’s literally right behind the basket in line. Watt about 12 ft in front of the pin. Artifact back here is about 20 ft. [Music] But again, I don’t feel like I put anything extra on this compared to the other two. I think this just glides more to be honest. And I’ve seen some of the videos talking about the glide on this disc and how it’s easy to throw and how they just you just get it up in the air and it goes for you. After that throw, I might be buying the hype. Hole nine. One more time. I I know I’m not going to be doing this disc or any of these discs justice if I try to forehand them up going uphill. It’s not going to show anything. So, here’s the plan. I’m going to throw a little punch shot up the gut, land somewhere in the flat, and then approach with these as if they were a short approach putter, which in all reality, I think these would work great in that particular scenario. So, let’s try to highlight that. May have overshot my target a bit there. The proxy is the more stable of the three. It’s flying like a baby envy. The watt [Music] and the watt’s probably right in between the other two. It’s like more stable, straight, understable. I don’t feel like I put that much more on any of these three discs, but the artifact is 1 2 3 4 5 What are you doing? 6. Why aren’t you trying to go get something? 10. What is he doing? About 35 ft further than the watt. And the proxy is a similar spot distance- wise, just more to the left. Just something to chew on. I’m gonna forehand the wad. It’s right under the pin. Why is disc golf so weird? The amount of times I would stress out over that short of a little chip shot with the proper disc in hand and I just step up and just absolutely pen it. Let’s go around the pole here with the forehand. I hear thunder. That’s a little short and low. Yeah, that’s more like it. That’s more like it. Disc golf. So, would the artifact make your bag? Do you have something that you’re throwing in that understable putter slot now? Shout it out in the comments. Maybe I’ll give it a shot. I don’t really have that slot in the bag right now. I have a very beat up jawbreaker zone, which I can hiser flip and get to turn. And when I tell people to zone, they never believe me. But it really is a zone. It’s a 5-year-old beat up jawbreaker zone, but it’s still a zone. I’d take a couple of tapins here. [Music] Well, that’s going to wrap it up, guys. Just wanted to give you a quick look at the new Artifact from Infinite Disc. Available on infinitis.com right now in both the C blend and the grippy D blend. If you want something like this to be your putting putter, I got to play around with it some more before I decide if it’s going to actually make the bag. Again, if you’re used to that deep putter, kind of like a dagger from Latitude 64, I think is the closest comparison I could think of, maybe not quite that deep, or an agent, and you want something that’s going to turn for you out of the box and fly straight if you throw nice and soft, this is a great one to take a look at. Appreciate you guys coming along. Thank you so much. which we’ve got over a 100 subscribers already. Stay tuned to the channel. I’ll be announcing a giveaway, two giveaways actually. One giveaway from a couple videos ago, and then we’ll do a 100 subscriber giveaway as a thank you to all you guys that have joined on. It’s hot, it’s muggy, these thunderstorm clouds are making their way in. I think I’m just going to try to aceole two and then head home and get in the air conditioning. But hope you enjoyed it and as always, get out there and fling some frisbees. I’ll see you in the next one. until right now. Come on.
