  1. Youtube is really shoving these powrr golf shots down my feed. Who even cares about this?

  2. Goodness gracious. That is some fast clubhead speed. These guys are obviously on a whole other level, compared to us weekend golfers. Utterly ridiculous. How easy they make golf look. I tell people all the time this is the hardest game you will ever play.

  3. He is showing how much rotation is needed on the backswing. Some golfers only as go as far one nip but to have some speed you need to rotate further and “Show both nips to let it rip” You know, that old saying.

  4. Left heel lift means less back issues , more power , long career winning in his 40s

  5. One of the few top guys these days who allows his left heel to rise significantly on the backswing.

  6. He didn't have that fast backswing that loads the muscles until Bryson did it. Yet Fitz was one of Bryson's early critics for emphasizing power.

  7. I have never understood the need to a fast backswing in order to have a fast down swing.
    Seems counter intuitive.

Too much energy is lost transferring to the down swing

Jack Nicklaus said when he wanted a few extra yards on his drive he actually slowed his back swing

Also for someone so into the science of the sport i would've thought Matt would be into weight or resistance training. He is looking a little soft

  8. The reason why he’s doing speed training is because he partnered with a data scientist who revealed his biggest and best way to move up the ranking was distance. This data scientist used ai and machine learning to come to that conclusion, he also helped Matt Fitzpatrick when many tournament with data to see what he needs to work on
