Hi guys, welcome back to another Overthrow Disc Off video. As you saw in the title and the thumbnail, we’re breaking rules today. Now, let’s get this out of the way. I didn’t come up with this idea, Blitz. And we can put his at in the description and maybe even drop a comment. He’s been doing a shorts series on this and it just just stirred up within me. I’m like, I want to break some rules. I’m gonna have some fun and break some rules and see what what rule breakings really affect our throw. Now, it’s just it’s going to be complete bro science. Let’s just I’m going to throw it out there. All right. Complete. We know nothing about that on this channel, do we, Dakota? We need the lab codes. Yeah, we do need the lab codes. All right. So, let’s get breaking some rules. [Music] So, just getting straight into it. I’m going to I’m going to use Techis to just like look at the form to make sure I’m breaking rules because you might think you’re breaking a rule and you’re like, “Oh, well, I’m not really breaking a rule.” And uh yeah, so I’m going to start with what I would consider a rule break, and that would be sending the off arm in early, right? So full reach back, off arm goes in, creating some crazy lag. I don’t believe that. I’m just going to say it and let’s just find out how it affects my throw. But that’s be the first rule that I break. But I’m getting ahead of myself because we got to get I don’t know five throws where I’m just throwing my normal throw. Uh for reference, I am throwing close to max speed for all of this. I’m giving a lot of effort. Let’s put it that way. All right, this would be what I would consider as close as close as I can get to good overthrow form. I’m still working on my own form, but the first thing I want to do, as we talked about, we’re double moving. You’ve heard it somewhere before, I’m sure. So, double move, that’s where uh you may have heard about this. Reach back. Full coil. Throw that off arm in creating this like back thing stretch. And then it’s just, you know, it’s just going to effortlessly explode forward. So, breaking the rules. And I’m going to make sure I’m doing it via slow-mo. All right. I want to make sure I give it a good rule break. [Music] No, it’s not double movie enough. Look how it’s like it’s not coming in as much. Still am getting a good stretch in the back, I feel though. Because the other thing is is the thoughts around this is you give the double move and you don’t have to arm it. Now, what have I been doing this whole time? I’ve been arming it this whole time. What have I been doing? I need to I need to relax this. Still like throwing. I was still I was still max throwing. I was still giving it like 100% throwing effort. All right. So, let’s let’s let it lag. Let’s let it lag. Here we go. Yeah. Coming off the back shoulder. That’s something they talk about. Off the back shoulder. Oh, that’s much better. Yeah. Okay. So, that’s following the rules of the double move. A lot better. Yeah. Yeah. Let me give it Let me give it a couple where I’m doing it correct. That’s got to be it. That’s got to be it. I mean, it’s feeling definitely I mean, I used to do I used to do basically this. I used to look at Paul’s form and Oh, that’s it off the back shoulder. I’m going to give it a couple more where I’m really throwing it more in towards my stomach like trying to go here. All right. Got to I got to create this stretch. And I don’t know if this is cutting it right now. Last two. We’ll do two more. Let’s see. Does he Does he double move? He does. He do be double moving. Yeah. I mean, that’s got to be exactly what they’re talking about. I’m doing exactly what they say. Arm lagging behind, back shoulder pushing in, and then it’s just what they would say, whoever teaches this. Effortless feeling, rocket powered throwing right there. Hey, listen. I’m trying to prepare for trouble. Make it double. Oh, prepare team rocket. Oh, and team rocket. So many things happen. Make it double. I got it. This is good. He’s really That’s good. I like that. Okay, last one for the double move. There’s a lot of stats uh that have been affected by this. Let’s say I stuck with a coach teaching me this. I’m sure they would change a lot of things about my form other than this, but I would say I I gave this a pretty good go. And you see, I mean, it’s nice stretched. I’m one of the the people that can really get into these positions cuz I’m very naturally turning with my shoulders. And again, just kind of throwing my off arm in early is something I can make happen pretty easily. This is just having fun. I’m going to let the numbers just be there. and uh you guys can take a look at them. I already you guys already know if I’m breaking a rule here, I’m not doing it because it hasn’t it hasn’t helped my numbers ever. Um so I’m just going to throw that out there. I do the things that make me throw farther and faster and that’s that’s what I gravitate to. Now h another rule to break. Oh, hips. Yeah. Yeah. Let’s rip on some hips. I’m talking rips. Rips hips. I’m going to rip my hips towards the target first. Lagging everything else, right? After all the kinetic chain, right, guys? Hips and then shoulders and then arm goes last. So, this kind of similar to the last one. And I’m going to guys, I’m good at ripping hips. All right. You’re going to see some fast rips with these hips. hips forward. It’s so impossible. If I were to lag any more than that. I mean, this is how you send your Yeah, there goes the knee as well. That’s good. Okay, so I need to focus even more on the back knee going in. So, this is kind of a two for hips and the back knee. Ripping. Ripping. Oh, I ripped that back knee. I need to be even faster. No, that’s good. That’s good. Hips go first, then shoulders, then arm. Knee completely forward. Let’s do it again. Yeah, I’m happy with that. Oh, yeah. Go hips. Go. Yeah. And you can see how it’s affecting the rest of my body. All right. And you guys already know you see a bunch of pros looking like this. Am I right? It’s all good. Hey, we’re just breaking rules here. That’s all that’s happening. Breaking overthrow rules. There’s different rules for different channels. And you know, it’d be fun to see like other channels break their own rules. May as well. You might you might learn something. So far, if I tell myself to lag the arm, bad. That That’s horrible. Now, one of the things was when I was really rotational and sending the arm as fast as I could. You know what? That’s basically my normal form, right? So, so that is good. I’ve got good speed doing that. Now, I’m working on slowing my shoulders down. That was something I was going to say earlier was I’m working on slowing my backside down cuz it likes to turn fast. I know there’s one more, dude. There. Let’s break one more rule, Dakota. I know they’re out there. Oh, swoop. Check me out. I was going to special. Thank you. All right, last one for today. I’ll do more. If you guys come up with more in the comments, please let me know. I want to break more rules. We’re going to do this again. I enjoy this. All right, max distance swoop. Here comes the automatic air bounce to nose up. As Josh just explained, I’m going to go big swoop. You know what’s coming, Dakota. It’s not as good as it used to be. Oh, baby. Okay. Definitely didn’t get the nose down. Let’s just review this swoop here. Oh, come on. Now, that’s a big old swoop. Now, there’s different types of swoops, but I think I think we can all agree. I think we can all agree this would classify as a swoop. So, let’s let’s see how swoopy we can get it. Oh, it’s back. The swoop is back. Putting up numbers today. All right, more swoop. More swoop. Oh, I like that swoop. Yeah, the issue right now is actually nose angle with it cuz just based off of the launch, it needs to be more nose down than that. But putting up some good numbers speedwise. Definitely the best speed of the day, huh? That’s good. That’s good. Cuz for a while I was thinking, where did all my fun swoopy speed go? But now we can. It’s back. My swoopy speed is back. One more just for fun. This is a fun one. All right, let’s give it a good go. I think it was nose up, but boy. 74.9. A little bit nose up. Just barely though. Yeah, that launch is pretty crazy, huh? We had some fun rule breaking today. I enjoyed that. I still got a long ways to go. So, you probably shouldn’t do what I just did. Now that I think of it, you probably don’t break all the rules. Just let me do it for you and uh pick a coach and stick with them. By the way, did did I just say pick a coach? You can do that at overthrowdisolf.com where you can see different coaches. I’m in there. Josh is in there. We got Cam, Jacob, Mark Bunky, all different price points. Find a coach that you like. They’ve got we got bios. Hopefully, we get some stuff on the channel with them. If you like this video for some reason, you might like the way I coach. Love you guys. Bye. [Music]

Believe it or not, straight to jail
I expected a better highlighting of these rule breaking effected the numbers…I was sadly disappointed in this video editing.
Very rarely do you see any of these numbers, and when you do you have to ignore 90%of the screen and pause when they appear in the black boarder of the frame at the top…with how this was presented, you might as well have not used a tech disc
Video feels like a low key diss track to slingshot.
There is a lot of research to support Error Amplification utilized
In training leads to positive gains in performance.
Gannon teaches all of the things you are calling rule breakers in his newest backhand video.
It would have been nice to see a summary table of the stats of all the different throws at the end.
should fire you editor for leaving out the double move stats vs your contrlled stats… 😛
Someone needs to say it. This video was useless.
A demonstration of elbow dip and shoulder collapse with a lot of incoherent yapping.
Sorry🤷♂️
Overthrow is crashing out
I think there are many ways on how to try out ques that are oppossite of what is taught on this channel. This one unfortunately comes out as arrogant and laughing at the other ques. That's not helpful IMO.
Double move kinda looks like Gannon’s accuracy throwing that he talked about in his video. He said he likes to throw off the left shoulder except when going for max distance
Is it just me or is Mikey getting yakked
Hahaha. Breaking rules is FUN 🙂
