This is one of the most special videos I’ve ever filmed. I took my grandpa on the golf trip he’s dreamed about for as long as I can remember — to Pebble Beach. It’s consistently ranked the #1 public golf course in America, and for good reason. The history, the views, the atmosphere — it’s the kind of place that every golfer talks about, but not everyone gets to experience. Growing up, my grandpa always talked about Pebble. It was this almost mythical place to him. So to be able to take him there and walk the course together — not just as a bucket-list destination, but as a shared memory — meant everything to me.
This video isn’t just about the golf. It’s about slowing down and spending time with the people who made us fall in love with the game in the first place. My grandpa is one of those people for me. The stories he told, the way his face lit up on the first tee — I’ll never forget it. We tried to capture what the day really felt like, not just the shots we hit, but the conversations, the quiet moments, and the beauty of Pebble Beach itself. Whether you’re a golfer or not, I hope this video reminds you to make time for the people who matter most.
Heat. Heat. [Music] [Applause] [Music] All [Applause] right, guys. I took my grandpa to Pebble Beach. This is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. Those of you may know Pebble Beach and how famous it is and how incredible of a golf course it is, but today, once in a lifetime, I brought my grandpa here. It is going to be actually the first time ever I play my grandpa in a 1v one match. And what can be better than playing Pebble Beach with my granddaughter Gabby calls girl. Those of you who know my gutter, I call him Guta because when I was little, I couldn’t say grandpa. So this is Guta. He’s We’re going to give him nine strokes. So he’s going to start nine under on this match. I’m going to start even and we’ll see what happens. I I do think it’s going to be very difficult. He usually shoots around like what 45 46 on nine holes and usually shoot around even. Now this is Pebble Beach so it’s definitely going to be I was about to say this is Pebble Beach. So if I break 50 I’m going to be happy. Oh yeah, for sure. So let’s see what happens. Our first time actually ever playing one v one. You got it. Got it. Ready? You want to go first? You go first. All right. Inbounds. Do the nerves get to you? Do we need a reload? Breakfast ball. I appreciate that. You’re going to be the first breakfast ball on the channel ever. First breakfast ball ever we’ve ever done. Thank you for that. There we go. Get left. Get left. All right. Fine. Okay. Both of us have never ever played Pebble Beach before. This is our first time. Um, Gutter drives are usually like perfect, but I think the the camera got to you a little bit. Nurse Guts and Pebble Beach. And Pebble Beach, that’s for sure. I’m going to go for that bunker right there. And and the crowd over there as well watching. Oh, what a shot. That should be good. All right, ready. Around the corner. Ready to go. Let’s go. Thanks for the breakfast ball. Really? A lunch ball. Which way are you going to go? You’re going to go that way on the right. If I go over here, isn’t this You do have a window. It’s just you have to get it high enough. You just have to get enough. I see. I’m going to give some tips because I I just feel like that’s the right thing to do when you’re playing in a match. Like I think gota I think you go like with a a wedge and just get it over that hill and however much yardage you get extra as bonus because otherwise you you’d punch it out to here and you’d only gain like five yards. So just try and get as high as you can. Forget about getting on the green, you know? Go. Did that get through? All right. So, see that’s the point. You got it. You just got it through. Okay. Starting nine under. All right. Here we go. 105. I am gonna The wind’s kind of coming with me a little bit. It is very This is like It’s a lot of wind behind us. Yeah. I’m gonna I feel like I should go with my 50°ree. Let’s try the 50. It may be a little bit short, but I think 50°ree first approach shot. Oh, gap. Right at it. It’s got to go. Oh, it’s not enough. Oh my. Where did I pull it? Didn’t get out of the rough. All right. So, got to get through this rough uphill. 23 yards. Everything is just getting through this rough. Okay. All right. Good chip. That’s more than a gimme. All right. You got it. That’s a gimme. All right. Okay. Try and make this a half safe par here cuz that was a gimme hole. Oh, Gabriella. The only problem that I’m gonna face here Thanks. The only problem I’m going to face here is just the rough is really thick compared to where I’m from. So, anytime that even if I’m in the first cut of rough, everything seems to go short short. And the chip was short, the approach shot was short, great drive, good putt, but it’s going to be tough for me to get through that. So, I just have to stay away from rough as much as possible. That’s if it’s tough for you, it’s gonna be impossible for me. That’s all right. So, we got the first hole. We got through the first out of our system. Let’s drive the way we know we can drive. Just stay out of the rough. Well, it’s going to be in play, but it’s pulled it. Good thing it’s a par five. Be honest. I I haven’t I don’t think I’ve ever watched a tournament on TV at Pebble Beach. So, I don’t know. The only hole I know is that iconic hole, which I think is on the front nine. So, I don’t know what this golf course looks like at all. So, this is my first time really seeing it. and obviously playing it. But I do know that the I think it’s seven or eight or something that par three. That’s all I know. Gonna go left. That bunker is 250. So just go a little bit left and rip through it. Right down the gut gap. A little bit of push. What happened? Oh. Oh no. They’re not red ants. They’re not. No, they’re not. Here. They’re fine. You’re fine. You got ants on him. I’m fine. I’m off to the right a little bit, but the wind pushed. The reason that that approach shot, I think, also knocked now that I’m feeling it, the wind’s all going this way like crazy. Go. Oh, just thick. What do you have with 3wood? Yeah, it’s rough. Caught a little bit too much grass, but thought I had it. All right. 140 to clear. 140 to clear the water. Yeah, that’s water right there. That line, that brown line. Let me just see something real quick. We got 210 to the hole. I’m going to hit my 3-wood. Now, there is a bunker that runs through the middle of the fairway at like 140. If even if I land it in that bunker, like I’m fine because I’m just going to hit a pro shot out. I’m just going to try and get speed at the ball and get height. That’s it. That is such a Oh my goodness. What a great shot. Wow. Oh, get on the green. Wow. That was a good shot. Felt really good about it. That’s a brilliant shot. All right, guys. I literally just got back from a tournament and even though I am exhausted, I literally have to edit right now. And one of the simplest, most effective things that I do every day is super greens from Live It Up. Thanks to Live It Up for sponsoring this video. Back to the video. How’d that shot feel, Gabby? Felt great. That shot, I ripped through it as fast as I could. Nice little butter cut. Perfect sound. There’s one against the fence. I know. Oh, I love animals. Hi. Oh, it’s okay. Well, now I got to go for it. 180. This is not your hole. This is not good as hole. All right. Pitching edge. Okay. That’s what I’m giving strokes for. I know. Isn’t it so deep? That bunker is so deep. Not I’m not out of this yet. All right. Over. Went over. One, two, three, four. A. It doesn’t usually roll out like that. Come on. Lying six with So you’re hitting for seven. hitting seven. Okay, I’m holding this. Okay, sit down. Ah, okay. So, okay, here we go. Oh, look at this. There we go. Love my putter right now. So great. Well done, Gabriela. All right, so I’m one under. Got you make this. You go five under. But now we’re only four strokes. It’s all about my drives. If I don’t drive well, then I’m in trouble. But now I got seven holes left. For me, it’s all about the drives. If I drive well, I’ll play well. There it is. Right at the 150 marker. Okay. So, I’m going to take advantage of this short hole and go right over these trees. Here we go. See, now that’s not fair. There we go. Well, give me an approximate. What do you think the distance is? That’s 150. Yeah. Okay. Yeah, I got to use my my five iron to be safe. What do you got? 150. I think it’s Yeah, probably 148. This is a tough wind is coming right to left. This is a tough. I need to hit a shot here. I need to hit a golf shot. I did, but it’s off. Come down. All right. That was a little bit too much club. And just aim there. Chip in a putt. All right. Okay. So, we drove that about like 250ish. Now, got around Well, we got a little bit more than 250. Got like 45 yards left. You going to stand right there? That’s fine. No, it’s fine. It’s fine. Go. Not bad. That’s not bad Oh. Oh, that’s a good putt. You’re good there. So, that’s for bogey. Four under now. Oh, Gabby. I’m telling you, it’s this putter. I’m telling you this. What’s that? Back to back bird. Yeah. I’m looking at this deer and there’s another one looking right. 300 yards on the right. If you go right there, the cliff is right to the water. You’re going right in the water. It’s 157 to cover this first quick little easy bunker. Then it’s 210 to that little small bunker in the middle of the fairway. I’m going to try and hit a cut from the small bunker over, but I got to finish my swing because I can’t hit it in the water. There we go. Exactly what I’m trying to do. Excellent. Just dropped something up. Oh, the red thing. I hope I don’t hit that deer. [Music] Oh my god. Actually, he hit a good shot. So, you better start doing that every single time. Sit down. Don’t Well, that’s a real drive for me. No, you’re good. That’s That’s You got to keep doing that every single time for Gutta so he can start swimming. Well, that’s that’s the secret. Gutta actually grew up in the Bronx. What was the Bronx like when you were 17? When you were my age? In the That was 19 67 and it was a great time to grow up in the Bronx. I know a lot of people wouldn’t understand that. There was a great time. Yankees baseball neighborhoods, multitude of friends, grammar school friends, high school friends, a very warm and inviting place to be. And and would you be Look at that view. That is magnificent. That’s insane. Would you be upset if I told you that I think I’m a a Red Sox fan? Uh, no. Right now, did I tell you that? Capriella, what happened to you? to talk to Robbie too much. Yeah. I uh what I know you love the city, but that’s not that’s that’s traitor stuff. We got the Red Sox. I know you did. Boston Celtics. I understand. But that’s I know. I know. I I I I gotta Well, okay. Let’s Let’s say I got to I got to be who who go I gotta go to a game either one of them first to be a fan. I think that’s true. So, whichever game I go to first, that’ll be what Fenway is special. Fenway is definitely special. It’s pretty incredible. It’s a little scary cuz I don’t want to fall off. Bunka. All right. 67 yards. Got 54 degree. Should be good. Oh, that close. It’s almost a It’s a gimme. Oh, wow. That’s going to be three birdies in a row. I didn’t think I could start I didn’t think I was going to start off this way. I won’t even bring my putter. All right. Did you get me? Do you have your your putter? Uh, no. Oh, but I’ll just put with this. What happened? I don’t have my putter either. Where’s the Where’s my putter? I need So, if I make this putt, I’ll be three under. If Ga misses his putt, he’ll also be three under. I don’t have a putter. What? You got three birdies in a row? Three birdies in a row. Oh my. two under. It’s 138 overlooking a magnificent view of the Pacific. And I just want to hit the golf shot. Good shot. Wow. That’s a bad shot. One of the few that I hit. Oh, it’s coming back. It’s It’s literally It’s like five feet. Okay. Wow. What’s that? 138 seven iron. Three feet from the hole. All right. I actually something I don’t say often. I got to hit this inside of Gunner’s ball. Be good. Oh, be good. Uh, mine didn’t really roll back like yours did. It is a little bit actually. It’s like 15 feet. Okay, maybe four in a row. Maybe four. I don’t want to push it, but maybe four in a row. Where pitcher? Don’t want to push it. Here we go. Oh, that was faster than I thought. I actually knew it was going to be fast. Should have gone high side. All right, there you go. Par. Gota. Let’s see a birdie. Now you could, if you make this putt, you could say you had a birdie at Po Beach. Not a lot can actually Not a lot can actually say that. Okay, you got it. Back of the cup. Yes. A birdie on a part three of Hubble Beach. Love it. Wow. Wow. There we go. The cheers from the crowd. You almost got me, Mike. Yeah, this is like the most insane hole of all of them. This and the next one. Can’t get better than this. Maybe I shouldn’t have gone. Yes, I should have. Oh, yeah. Nowhere near the bunkers, but along the line of the bunkers. Good. Very good. Here we are with the number two handicap. Having a little match go. Oh, that was good. Hit the cork path. Give me some more. Was it good? Yeah. Good shot. I’m over by the car path. I’m enjoying it. How are you? Good. All right, here we go. Fivewood, 192 carry. I would go 3wood to get extra yardage, but it’s so high up that I need a the most loft possible that can carry 195. Here we go. Think we’re good. Sit there. Sit there. We’re good. All right. I gave myself forward relief from the car path. I don’t know. I have no idea what’s left up there. Up that way. Go left. Well, I went left. Okay. All right. You’re fine. Just give me a longer shot in. He’ll be fine. just just ripped it. That was an incredible shot. But now someone just literally walked on the green as you were hitting. He came out of the cart and walked back on the green. Oh, that’s a great shot. Where is it? Do you see it? Just went over the back, actually. This is an incredible view. Look at this. Feel so high up. 91. No, that’s too much. You’re on pin high left. Yeah. Why do I feel like when we’re higher up, like elevation wise, things go further? I barely hit that. Never broke. Good putt. Cap. It’s got to go. That’s got to go. It’s got to go. That would have been four under. I don’t know. It’s I not even trying. It’s a leech isn’t that hard, guys. It’s not that hard. Watch the blow up on Come on, G. You make this. You stay t uh this is for par. So, you make this. You stay one up. You got it. Just follow through. That’s in what? We’re par on the number two handicap at Pebble Beach. Par to stay one up. Wow. Wow. That’s incredible. That’s really incredible. Growing up in New York, who who is your biggest inspiration slash I don’t know, not idol, that’s not a good word. Who is who is the biggest person? It doesn’t even have to come up out of New York that you looked up to. Could be a singer, could be an athlete. Well, when I was growing up in the Bronx, 12 years old, 1962, I was a big time Yankee fan, and I loved and I wanted to be Bobby Richardson, who was the second baseman of the New York Yankees. That’s who I wanted to be. I love the Yankees and that’s who I wanted to be. They lost to the Pittsburgh Pirates and I think it was 1961 and I think I cried. Yeah. 1971 61 71 61 Oh 61 I’m that old Gabriella. I was like what? So that’s who I wanted to be when I was a little guy. And then I became a Beatles fan. I was a Beatles fan. Yeah, I was a Beatles fan. Um, but while everybody was listening to the Beatles, I was listening to jazz with my dad. That’s that was so cool. I was listening to Johnny Hodgeges, who’s a oldtime saxophone player, and Frank Sinatra. And then two years later I was a big Beatles fan. That was mid60. What was your first job that you ever had and how much did it pay an hour? Okay, this was in let’s see I actually don’t know this. This had to be 14 years old. I was the first job I ever had. I was working in Felman’s drugstore in the Bronx stacking shelves. Mike, you hear this? And I don’t even remember what the pay was, but it was What was the first one you could remember you got paid? What was the first job? How much was it? Well, then I worked with my dad in his uh in an auto dealership where it was a great job because I said got to worked at the drugstore when he was 14. That was a great job because it was uh later in high school and throughout college, I worked in an auto dealership in the parts department. uh with my dad and that was a great job because it was flexible hours. I was getting paid I don’t remember the exact rate but it was good money. I had a car and it was more than enough money to pay for gas and take grandma out for dinner in the movies every now and then. So it was great. I really love that job. How much is milk? How much is milk? Milk back then probably was 69 cents a gallon or something. It’s ridiculous. What is it now? Now it’s probably $4 a gallon. So that makes sense. But that was great times. I loved growing up uh in the Bronx and going to school in Westchester County. What What was the best What was the best pizza place? Michael’s going to want to hear this question. What was the best pizza place in New York when you were growing up there? Well, when our neighborhood place, which we It’s not still there. Where’s the rangefinder? It’s not still there, but it was Joe’s Pizza in Pel Bay. We lost it. And it was great pizza. Right here. Um Joe’s Pizza is not the same place as Joe’s Pizza now in New York. Not at all. This was in Pel. That place is really good. This was in Pelen Bay, New York. And we would go there five times a week. We would have pizza there all the time. Like Michael you ever had? And how much did it pay? an hour. Okay, this was in let’s one of the most magnificent holes I’ve ever played. Certainly the part three. Look at this place. Let’s hit a golf shot here. Ron sand. All right, sand shot. Well, I didn’t duff it. It’s in the sand. Thanks for being patient, guys. Yeah, I was going to do it. Thank you. He will. Oh, that looks good. Little bit hard. I crushed it. I love these greens and this putter. Yeah, you can take it out. Take it out. My 50°. Okay. The par at the iconic par three at pebble. You got it. Stay left edge of the of the hole and you got it. Oh my gosh. Wow. God is just a machine right now. A birdie and a par on the part threes. He’s unstoppable at Pebble. I told you I’d come back. You know, we didn’t go to the range. Of course, you look for anything you can hang your hat on. And that’s what I did. But I’m coming back, baby. I’m back. Today is officially the shortest day in history. Apparently, the Earth is spinning faster than usual, leading to the shortest day ever recorded, July 9th, 2025. Scientists say that the planet will rotate 1.3 milliseconds faster than the standard 24 hours. And experts say that uh shortened days could eventually require a negative leap second by 2029. Okay, I know where I’m supposed to hit this ball, but I don’t know where the I don’t know where the the hole is. I have no idea where the hole is. Wow, good shot. What are you using, Gats? Uh, ninewood. Good. Lay up over to the left. I could have gone for the green. Yeah, you could have I could have gone for the green. I This is a This is a par four. You got to go for it. This is a par four. I can do this. Just go left if anything. No, I’m going right at it. So, I hit the same shot as I just did. Oh, wow. Get in the hole. Like, wow. So, I made a mistake. I thought it was a par five, so I kind of just hit it off to the left. Also didn’t have my rangefinder, so I just kind of That that was to we were misled. I was misled. Yeah, cuz I I looked at that. I think I hit a like a 190 shot off the T. I think it’s just another 190 shot. Yeah, I didn’t realize that. Makes no sense. I made a mistake, guys. Ga is three under, not four under. So, we’re tied. And so, he’s he’s totally he’s six over so far without handicaps, without anything. But because he started nine under, he’s three under. So, I’ve got to figure out what I’m gonna do here. Go, go. Oh my gosh, oh my gosh, that sucks. All right, guys. So, I’ve got to make this chip. Here we go. That was uh really annoying. Bite. Sit down. Sit down. Sit down. Sit down. Oh my gosh. Sit down. Sit down. This is not good. Gotta. It’s only picking up speed. There it is. Stops. Oh no. It’s still going. Gota. I know. What am I going to do? Oh, three. Here. Let me go. Four. Ah, guys. I’m making this. It’s going in the hole. It’s going in the hole. It’s going in the hole. Oh, come on. That snapped last second. That was in the hole. That was in the hole. All right. Well, that sucks. Now I’m one under. So, got to you make this. You stay two under. You two putt, we tie again. Can’t believe I double boogie that. Got to hit this in. Make sure you give it up the hill because it’s really uphill. Go, go. It’s got to go. It’s got to go. It’s because you That was a good putt. It’s just that it’s a lot of break here. Whoa, that snaps like crazy. Got it. You’re good there. Okay. Well, that was two. All right. We’re both one under. Going into the last hole. Both one under. going into the last hole. I got to be honest, not that I didn’t have faith in you, Getta, but off the first two holes, it didn’t look good. I was saying maybe we need to change this video and add nine strokes on top of it. And now we’re going in last hide. So, we our math was correct. He usually shoots 45 and you’re on pace to actually shoot 45. You part the you part the next hole, you break 45. That’s like insane at home. It would be a remarkable thing and my buddies wouldn’t believe me if I wasn’t with you. G you obviously you can’t fade it here but you’re okay over the bunker is Oh, that’s a good swing. You just got to go. Oh, you want to go over that bunker? Yeah. Oh, that’s a great drive. No. That’s good. It’s going to be good. I should be good. You’re going to be You’re going to go for it. I was good. Yeah. My foot. It’s 169. I’ve got a slightly downhill lie. The bunker. Not one in front of us, but the other one by nightmare, I was just told. I can’t go there and I don’t think I could reach it. So, I think I’m just going to try to How far? Lay up. Oh, that’s a great swing. Go, go. It’s going to roll up. All right. How far? 150 48. Last shot. I knew that was going to happen. Wow, man. I cannot do rough, huh? All right. Yeah. Oh, yeah. Get in the hole. Get in the hole. Oh, a I did think it was going to hit you, too. 1,000%. That’s There’s Whenever I hit over people or at people like I’m not nervous cuz I know I’m not going to hit them. That was one of the closest ones and I didn’t even say anything here. Wait, that’s good. Gap. Par. One under. All right. One under. I par this. You par this. We tie. And I’m here. You make it. Oh no. Yeah. I got to make this then. You got to You got to make I got to make it, which I’m not going to do. But don’t say that. Don’t do that. Don’t do that. We’ll try. Oh my. Didn’t have the line. Oh my. You got it. Oh my gosh. Oh my gosh. No. Over the tie. You almost had it. You almost had it actually. Oh, I had the right speed. I was Well, you’re good there. Left corner. So, if you make this or I give it to you. Yeah. This is This is for This is for 45 right here. Oh, it’s 45. I’ll take my 45. You gave me that. It’s 45. Oh, love you. Love you, Gabriella Rose. It’s always my immense pleasure to play with my granddaughter, Gabby Golf Girl. I enjoyed that one. Sweetest thing on earth.

Grandpa & Granddaughter …. priceless.
Loved when he said love you, Gabriella Rose. Beautiful video.!❤️
Did you switch from Taylor made to Calloway
Like make a wish come true ! For both of you. Nice to see an ol timer like me with my capabilities lol.
You need to get a huge pic and frame it one for each of you
You and your grandpa are amazing triple g
About 8 years ago, I drove over to Monterey. Had no reservation at PBGC, but called every morning for an opening. On Wed, got a tee time for 3 pm. Played with a group of 3 players, nice folks. On hole 7, left my ball about 3 feet out. Was so nervous that I missed the putt, but it didn't ruin my round. The whole experience was fantastic, couldn't stop checking out the views. Nice video, Gabby.
Gabby love your channel. I’m an old dude who started golf late but your videos inspires me to be better. Great content just like your pants. Wicked good as they say in Massachusetts.
I am waiting to watch Superman to kill time and this video happened to pop up. I was shocked you are a Red Sox fan. Even if there is no game going on you should do the tour of Fenway Park. You won’t be disappointed.
When in rough, and know you're leaving it short, go to a higher club. ❤
camera guy is literally going to get killed by a shank, that's a really really bad idea
You must be Italian. You speak with your hands, LOL
Very sweet, Gabby. As a golfing grandpa I cherish doing things with my son and daughter. Would love to say I had a birdie at Pebble Beach while golfing with them. You’re a lucky man, Nonno!
What a great video really enjoyed it. Listening to your grandfather such fun. Very well played gabby.👍🏴
You are blessed Gabby. Love your videos. Sorry Taylormade left you.
Such a cute video and a precious memory you'll have forever.
Great video, really well played Gabby. Could have done with a mic on Gudda.
Gabby. You should play a round with Keeks. Since now you both are team Callaway.
Absolutely love it, great guest, location and commentary 👍
Notice no short little skirt with grandpa 😂
This was an awesome video. Hoping that I get the chance to play with my granddaughter. Love it!
Loved the video of you and your grandpa playing together.
❣️🌹🌼🤍🌻
So glad I'm here Gabby! Just when I think you can't improve, like ASMR, you're playing with Guddah!! At Pebble!!!! I'm watching all of this. You were so gentle with him💚💚💚
The first time I went out with my son and he was playing better than me. It was one of the greatest golf days in my life. I was still annoyed by my lack of ability in shock making but impaled how proud I was I’m sure that’s exactly what your grandfather Was feeling that day
Red Sox fan?! Your poor grandpa 🤣
Thanks for sharing.
Bringing Grandpa to Pebble. So cool. That's a round you both will always remember.
What is the putter you are using?
Too bad the marine layer rolled in by the time you got to the outer holes. I've played there (and just hung out having lunch) when the weather is like this and when the sun is out. It makes a huge difference. The brilliant blue water and the crashing white capped waves are stunning. Unfortunately you got one of those "dead" looking days it appears. But who would complain, you're still at Pebble Beach!
Great video. Family bounding on the golf course.
A day on the links with your granpa at Pebble. What could be better?
Playing with my grandpa, were the best times. Enjoy it. Cherish it. When you’re older you’ll yearn for those moments again.
It is great to see 2 generations playing the game of golf. What a course to do it. Enjoy.
Just noticed did you get a new putter along with your new clubs?
I have a long way to go before I suffer my way through pebble 😂 beautiful course
