Check out the best shots of the day from Round 3 of the 2025 Genesis Scottish Open, featuring Jake Knapp, Wyndham Clark and Rory McIlroy, who sits tied for the lead with Chris Gotterup heading into Sunday.
The PGA TOUR heads across the pond for the Genesis Scottish Open. The event, co-sanctioned with the DP World Tour, is set to boast a field consisting of many of the world’s top players including FedExCup and World No. 1 Scottie Scheffler, back in action for the first time since the Travelers Championship. Scheffler will be joined by 2022 champion Xander Schauffele and fellow two-time major champion Collin Morikawa. Recent U.S. Open winner J.J. Spaun is also in the field, meaning all four reigning major champions will tee it up this week. Robert MacIntyre returns to defend his home country’s open, which he won in dramatic fashion in 2024, and is attempting to become the first to go back-to-back in tournament history. Rory McIlroy, a previous winner at the Genesis, will be looking to regain form before The Open is played in his native Northern Ireland the following week.

This is a little further right. Come on, land softly. Oh, that’s nice. Oh, that’s very nice. Oh, here we go. Oh, go on, baby. Here we go. Go on, JT. That’s the template for you folks. Throw it a little higher on the hill and your Caddy is riding away in style. That’s a beauty. Look at this. Look at this from Victor Hogland. I was thinking he’s going to have to visit the bar there for a minute. Oh wow, that is spectacular from Wendom Clark. It’s got to come in from the clouds. What sort of bounce he’s going to get? Yeah, that’s magnificent shot. Absolutely stunning. Just carried it far enough not to ping off the hard down slope with his second here at the eighth. Not much to this one. Pen up front right. Oh, that is ah that is sensational in his role in Scotland. Windham throwing this, launching it straight up in the air. That’s the first shot that we’ve seen Windham and that’s not bad, but that’s the first shot I think we haven’t seen him have spectacular body language in terms of every shot has been so precise. Go on. Wow. And his lips in. Scotty’s lips out from the left. And yeah, just just a touch less speed from Windam. And he got a great read off of Scotty. He might have done the same thing if he went first. See William Windham Clark. His T-shot did end up staying on the green. That’s from just outside of 30 ft. Really? Unbelievable. Windom Clark. It’s just 143. Little hold off finish. He’s got it going. And another one. Rosner has hit a good second here at eight. It’s to get to eight under. Happy to be back on European soil. I think it’s three birdies in the space of six others. Pin nice to be back. Third shot for Fitzpatrick just off the green here at the fifth. Oh. Good work there. Gets his first birdie of this third round. I thought that might be the choice he makes and probably the right choice given the debris straight back into him. He probably wasn’t the only one at the end of that week. No, I think that uh a lot of folks at Oakmont uh might have a little brain damage uh after that their feelings hurt as well. Roy, come on. Rory misses fairway miles right yesterday. This is on a much better line. Even back in the breeze, he will have no issues getting it home in two. Flush drive off two and three. Norman for the rest. [Applause] He’s drawn a decent lie. He’s got a wonderful angle. Doesn’t have to flirt with that bunker on the right whatsoever. I wasn’t going to have great control, but he just handles that so nicely. So nicely doesn’t need to land much past the middle of this green. That’s a wonderful picture and it it explains why somebody may have missed the screen. You see the Glen Stamp on the right hand side. He plays at a a refreshing pace this lad. A little like Ryan Fox pacewise. Oh, so so unlucky season from the fairway. Drive it straight here. You’ll have plenty of opportunities. Now Nap 280 in here, but decided to lay up whole cup back left. That was well done. Could have skipped up just another couple of feet, but a great chance for yet another birdie. Nap was out in 33. We got her up. Fired that yesterday to take the lead. We’re at the 10th and Jake Knap. It’s his tournament debut here and it’s a good one. So Nap gets to 10 under a chance at the rocket just a couple of weeks ago. 218 is the distance for Oberg and about 212 covers the huge false front guarding this front hole location. Really anything on the green is good. And this is tremendous. Trev, that was six iron. That never left the flag. Golly Lee, this is playing as the fourth hardest hole on the golf course today. About a quarter stroke over par. 271 yds left for Maroy. So if you want to know how far that T-shot went, a mere 330 yards into the breeze. And this is stunning, [Applause] man. that one here two years ago. I’ll have that for Eagle. Gosh, that’s such an impressive shot there, Frank. Yeah, he was trying to punch that into the wind as you said and bounce it back there. That quite often happens when you’re trying to go low with a back foot shot. You’ll pull it left. Not bad. 20 ft for the birdie. Yeah. Unlucky with the lie. Everything down by the green kicks to the left hand side. So far this week, he’s played his back nine brilliantly, seven under. Oh, this is another great shot. Using the bank on the right knows that that’ll kick it forward. That to tie the lead couple better. Should we go to 14? And the whole location on the front here at the par three. Hard to get it close with this down wind and the big shoulder on the left hand side as well. Oh, spin. Oh, what a shot there from that was his score back in 23. And that horrendous wind is coming for birdie. came back in round two with uh sorry round one with three birdies to finish and then started out with five birdies in his first seven holes yesterday. Hole in one hole 17. Jake Knap can go right at the flag here at 17. And he’s done that. Yeah, a couple nice shots in there. I love to see much straighter of a putt. And well played by Jake Knap. That’s a great bounce back after the backto back bogeies. Third shot for Rory here. Nearly 175 yds. Cannot go left. Be very careful if it catches that bank. Oh, this is wonderful. And it stays on the high side. Excellent shot from where he was. So still a chance for Birdie. A familiar roar for Maroy again. He has struggled on this back nine. Hit it in the right rough. Missed the green. Third to here. Just somehow try and get down in two. 40 ft. Wow, it completely changed. For some reason, Oberg has played this back nine all over the place. Found a gear. So, if you want golf explained, you just saw it right then. Thanks for watching the PJ tour on YouTube. For more, click here. And to subscribe, click here.

Thank you for your hardworking efforts! Your videos are always top notch! 😛💕
I can't believe Nico Echavarria played 6 under on day one and there was not a single image of him on the recaps. That's why PGA tour loses traction, it focuses always on the same people 😢
McIlroy, nice shot onto the green on the 3 hole par 5 for 2…next thing he's on the 8th hole playing his 2nd from the rough?!?! Then you did it again on the 10th hole…suddenly he's on the 11th. Very frustrating highlights!
Graphics r getting better
Clark is thinking he better have some decent rounds, the lockers in that clubhouse are so old.
Some day Potgetter and Goterup will play against each other
Why not show the end of day leaderboard and pairings for tomorrow in the last 15-20 seconds ?
For a sec there I thought this video was a Wyndam Clark highlight video…not a Round 3 (all player) highlights video. lol
It isn ice to know who won this!
the pga boys club coverage 👎☢️🤡💩
Åberg really shot him self in the foot in the back 9
Where"s Jim Nantz when I need him .
Is Clark the guy that kicked the hole in the wall at the US Open clubhouse
Hovland looks like Jean-Claude Van Damme
Saw that my favorite golfer eagled a par 4 and couldn’t see that “highlight” on here. How can we follow the tour if we can’t see our favorite players live and not even on the highlights?
Double bogey. PGA tour video group choice of highlights.
By posting week after week of rotten highlights. The PGA tour clings to a failed marketing strategy. When you don't have a real star you don't try to annoint the next one. For now it isn't Straka or Hovland. Until that star player emerges. Just show us good golf. Cause you aren't doing that now.
Highlights couldn’t be any duller if they tried. Commentary is vanilla. Same superstars holing out puts. No drama. No story. Nobody in any trouble. It’s like watching darts highlights of treble 20s after treble 20s. 💤
5:00 He's playing Nintendo Switch Sports golf!
Why do these so-called commentators from America have to scream and shout..I suppose they feel at home anywhere on the planet 😜
More Sam Torrance please.
Clark just kicked my YouTube. Who else?
