This looks perfect. He’s a seven iron as well. He finished with three birdies yesterday. Can it continue? Oh, it certainly can. What a golf shot. What a golf shot that is. My goodness me. Stopping short of the hole. Keep coming. Keep coming. Well deserved. Very four under. Three under. Go. Oh, go. No, that was a seven. I think it went Excellent top from Mai. Two under for the day. Four under overall. Rory flag on the right by the wall. Yeah. [Applause] He’s got another one. What a start from Rory Mroy. Three birdies in the first five holes. Mroy to five under. And with Victor Perez dropping a shot at 18, Mroy is within two of the lead now. It’s a bit right, Jamie. He’s looking a bit anxious. Oh, got a nice bounce. E, that was lovely. When it’s your day, it’s your day. There you go. How brilliant isn’t it from Rory M. What a start this has been. He has got that to go four under for his first six holes today. Birdie par. Birdie par. Birdie birdie. Magnificent stuff in the grand slammer. Go on. Go on. Get over that helm down. Another ounce. Another ounce. That would have been stone dead. That’s the tricky part. Can you keep the momentum going? Yes, he can. What a poor dome. Good heavens. What a blistering start from Rory Mroy today. Five birdies in his first seven holes and Mroy is in a share of the lead. Third shot now into the opening or the par first I should say. Almost too much spin. Outside chance of his path. He sizes it up behind. Paints the picture in his mind and then just tries to execute. Roy Wonderful, isn’t it? He loves a challenge. Rory won’t back off it. That’s for sure. He’s got another one. Gosh, that really has saved himself quite a few turns over the last few holes. So he stays at seven under. Very soft strike. It looks straight a touch right. He took a lot off that sand. Yeah. One bunker. One room. He’s played that extremely well. Could easily have missed that slope from left. Not at all. First 30 of the homewood line for Rory Mackoy. So he advances to eight under positioning himself very nicely. Oh, he’s looking a little anxious. Yeah, we’re about to find out whether he can carry it or not, Jamie. No, I don’t think he would have done. It’s down the right. That’s fine. One down the right. One down the left. That’s magnificent. That’s perfect. Oh, that looks fantastic. He was posing, Jamie. Straight at it. Oh, so close, Jimmy. So close. That’s a great mark. Maroy stays eight under par. Three shots off the lead with two holes of his second round of the Genesis Scottish Open to go. Good. Excellent. Was a long putt for Birdie. And it’s around a 65 for Rory Maroy. And he was five under through the first seven holes. It promised to be a little bit better than that. In the end, he had to battle hard for the score. Seven under heading into the weekend. Four shots at the moment of the lead. Mroy in the mix. Rory, day two, a 65 seemed like you got off to a really solid start the opening nine and then it became a little bit more difficult in that second nine. Give us your perspective. Yeah. Uh, exactly right. Yeah, got off to a bit of a flyer. Um, the conditions were so benign this morning. Hardly any wind and then the wind started to pick up a little bit on the on the back nine for us, but still, you know, very very manageable. Um, and yeah, I I started to struggle a little bit. Hit a couple of wayward drives. Um, but did well to scramble for pars. Um, yeah, and then disappointing to drop one coming in there. But, uh, overall, you know, it’s a a really good score and, you know, puts me right into the thick of things going into the weekend. You talk about the driver. Sometimes you’re seeing the other players maybe a little bit more um held back off the tea. They’re hitting an iron. You’re getting the driver out and maybe a little bit more aggressive. if you could perhaps give us some insight into your strategy off the tea and what you are struggling with sometimes. Yeah. Um yeah, like the first hole which was our 10th for example, the two boys hit um iron off the tea to stay short of that bunker on the on the right. Um I feel like if I hit a good drive, I can get a pass there and get a wedge in my hand, especially to a front pin. Um, so it really depends on the hole and where the pin is and you know if you feel like it’s accessible with a mid iron then you can maybe lay back. But a pin like the first today um getting a wedge in your hand is is would be pretty nice. But um yeah, I you know the rough isn’t too bad. So I I feel like the more aggressive you can be and you know honestly the you know being aggressive off the tea on on Lynx golf courses and taking the bunkers out of play if the rough isn’t too bad has always been a pretty good strategy for me. So um I’m sort of you know sticking with that for for the week and you know it’s sometimes it gets you in trouble but but most of the time it works out pretty well. You’re in a great position heading into the weekend. Well done. Thank you. To watch another DP World Tour video, click here. And to subscribe, click here.

What's the blue color in the top part of the view? Is that………SUNSHINE?? Surely this is AI. 🤪
Oh boy, all the bots are back
Greatest places and a stunning player!
When Rory sorts his driving out he’d been half decent! 😜
WELL DONE RORY……GREAT PLAY……US BRITS ARE BEHIND YOU….
Gdang it
What about the Geezer that shot 4 lower than Rory? Went round in 61!
I have watched Rory for years, if he would always play not to get into trouble the way he can play to get out of trouble, what a golfer ❤
He sucks
Still playing the ole qi10😂
Rory will wilt away if the wind picks up. Hard to believe a guy from Northern Ireland can’t play well in the wind.
The courses in Scotland aren’t difficult if the wind isn’t blowing. It’s actually quite boring when the wind is down.
Nice Rory
3 chops and a plop. It's a very easy game once you understand this. It's all in the plop, preceded by the chops. This is golf ⛳️ wisdom. Thanks 😊
The sound of those irons was crispy.
Talented
well don Rory 🙂
All talk again! Love it!
why not showing his bogey at hole 8?
Scenes. I can't wait for Sunday, am taking my son to his first tournament!
61? He gotter up and down, he did, that gotter up.
save it for The Open Rory !!
Hope he carries it over to THE OPEN!good luck Rory!
wait that gotter score is pretty impressive.. 9 bordie at 10th hole man !!
A "soft strike" carries 304 yards?
Watching rory, or any other golfer, fake wave to the crowd makes me want to vomit 🤢…
Golf fans – “can we see more highlights of the guys who are leading”
DP and pga tour – “no you don’t, here let’s show you more of Rory and Scottie”……..
I reckon he’s hitting the ball as well as anyone right now. It’s the perfect swing.
This is great coverage, thank you. One question re editing though … One of most important shots to see is how he bogeyed #8, yet you don't show it, but show a standard two putt on 9. IMHO highlights are not only about the good, but also the key moments in a round of golf, bogeys and shanks included!
Rory refinds the Mojo. His nipples were fighting that shirt, oooo matron
