If you’ve been interested in a lab putter, we’ve got you covered at Golf Tech. We got all your demo options and we can walk you through a fitting to make sure you get the right model for you. Lab features lie angle balance. That’s what Lab stands for. And their zero torque design, so you get zero twisting about the face during your stroke. Just helps you make more putts. Now, we do have several options to choose from, but it is important that you go through a fitting. Now, let’s talk real quickly about some of those options and why they might be good for you. One of the original ones you’re going to see is going to be the DF2.1, the original directed force biggest footprint that we have, highest MOI. If you tend to miss the center of the face even with your putts, it will almost eliminate the twisting, help you make more. Now, if that footprint is a little too big though, got a couple other options for you. DF3 would be great in my hands here holding the MEZ. So, a little smaller profile, but still extremely high MOI. And like every other lab putter, the shaft sits a little bit back of the face with some forward shaft lean to help get the hands back in line. Again, just another feature that helps create the zero torque as well as with the lie angle balance. Now, one of the newest putters from Lab is going to be the Oz. We’ve got one with an insert. We’ve got one solid aluminum. Depending on your preference for feel, one of these could be right for you. The solid aluminum model will have the softest feel. If you do like a little firmer, maybe a louder sounding putter, should definitely check out the Oz with the stainless insert. They will both be great. So, one of the most important things when it comes to your lab putter is determining the correct length and line angle because like I said, they’re all langle balance zero torque. But if you do not have the correct specifications, it might not work for you. So, utilizing the fitting tool, we can adjust the length to determine what length is right for you. And then one of the most important parts is then getting that lie angle correct. We really need to make sure the specifications match your stroke and match your setup. So if lab has been a putter that’s been on your mind, the best place to check it out is your local golf tech.
