You know, honestly, I didn’t have my best stuff today. Uh my putter really kept me in it. Um and that shot on 17 was unbelievable to give myself a chance to force a playoff or or even win. So, overall, you know, yeah, I’m disappointed the putt didn’t drop on the last or, you know, the T-shot on the last, but I’m pretty happy with the week and uh you know, it’s in my situation. I’m gaining FedEx Cup points, money, all that good stuff. So, uh, I’m going to look at the positives and try to take that away from this week.
Sticking with the positives. Didn’t have your best stuff this week, but still a great finish. What’s takeaways of that?
I mean, honestly, I I like to especially on a day like today with all the pressure, all the uh, you know, everyone’s aware of, you know, what can or can’t h happen. Um, I’m just really happy how I, you know, had a really good mindset. Uh, kept plugging away and grinded it out. Walk us through that closing stretch with 17 and 18. What were you talking? What was the game plan knowing needed post number?
I knew uh it was probably going to be 18. We was going to be tied for the lead. So, um I just needed to get that drive off on 17. That’s because you can’t hit the green if you don’t hit the fairway. Pulled off the drive and hit an unbelievable like punch throughwood. I was sort of on the left side of the fairway and I had to work it around the trees and I somehow pulled it off to like I think it went to like eight feet or something and pulled the putt. So, uh, you know, if obviously if I don’t hold that or don’t pull off the shot, I’m not in the situation I’m in on 18. But I mean, I’m super grateful that I was in that situation and that’s a positive for sure. Perfect. Thank you. Thank you, Dave. All right.
All right. All right.
