very well played out there. How good a round was that?
Yeah, it it definitely feels good. Um played uh tougher than yesterday. Kind of thought that like playing the afternoon yesterday might be a bit more calmer this morning, but wasn’t. But, you know, play played pretty well.
Yeah, it wasn’t just the shots in. I mean, sometimes it was a three club wind, I think. But it’s also on the greens, wasn’t it? The ball was moving at times.
Yeah, a little bit. Yeah. Um, yeah, it was pretty strong on the final few holes. Kind of coming round seven, eight, nine was was was quite a tough stretch. I was just trying to get in as quick as possible.
Yeah, it was a case of hanging in on the way in. I mean, eight I saw you make that that bogey, but apart from that was only blemish on the card on the first two days.
Yeah. Um, happy with that. Um, eight was quite a tough hole. Um, kind of between clubs and the next club wouldn’t have got there and that club wouldn’t stop. So, yeah, just and then I could have chipped off the green from there. So I was just kind of being a bit bit careful.
But then you bounce back well a burly to close. I mean you’re currently 11 under. It’s currently a four shot lead. Obviously is a long way to go but how good is that for the first two days here in these conditions?
Yeah I mean obviously happy with that. Um playing pretty solid and you know everything’s feeling pretty good. So yeah happy with it.
And now you’re in this position. What are your expectations heading into the weekend? because obviously we know you’re such a good amateur golfer, but it’s different cut of fish often in a in a pro tournament.
Yeah, it’s definitely a bit different, but I feel like now I’ve I’ve had a lot of experience and played in, you know, a lot of majors now and stuff like that. So, kind of know how to deal with it and, you know, I’m just trying to look to stay in contention and see see where it puts me. You
