PGA TOUR<\/p>\n<p>Romo, 46, was arrested in Milwaukee, his hometown, on the same day he had a brutal final round of the Wisconsin Amateur Championship golf tournament \u2014 where he finished 35-over par and won just $60 for his efforts.<\/p>\n<p>In the final round, Romo shot 12-over par before being pulled over while riding south on Interstate 43 in Wisconsin, per an arrest detention report obtained by The Post.<\/p>\n<p>Romo reportedly performed poorly on sobriety tests. <\/p>\n<p>Romo\u2019s court date is scheduled for Sept. 21.<\/p>\n<p>It\u2019s unclear if CBS plans to discipline Romo.<\/p>\n<p>He is currently in the middle of a 10-year deal worth $180 million that he signed in 2020.<\/p>\n<p><img style=\"aspect-ratio:0.83333333;display:block\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\"   data-modal-image=\"40081101\" width=\"492\" height=\"590\" src=\"https:\/\/www.fogolf.com\/us\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/09\/Romo-Antonio-Booking-Photo.jpg\" alt=\"Tony Romo's mug shot stemming from his DUI arrest on Thursday night in Milwaukee County.\" class=\"wp-image-40081101\"\/>Tony Romo\u2019s mug shot stemming from his DUI arrest on Thursday night in <br \/>Milwaukee County. Milwaukee County Sheriff&#8217;s Office<\/p>\n<p>Romo, who initially joined CBS in April 2017, retired from football following the 2016 season.<\/p>\n<p>The Eastern Illinois alum played for the Cowboys throughout his NFL career from 2004-16 and was a four-time Pro Bowler.<\/p>\n<p>Romo, who went undrafted in 2004, became the team\u2019s starting quarterback during the 2006 season and was through 2015.<\/p>\n<p>In his career, he threw for 34,183 passing yards, 248 touchdowns and 117 interceptions, while completing 65.3 percent of his passes.<\/p>\n<p>Romo helped lead Dallas to the playoffs four times, though the team never advanced beyond the divisional round.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"The repercussions from Tony Romo\u2019s DUI arrest are just beginning.
