AJN Golf is asking, “What is James’ speed sessions for long drives?” Now, we’ve only got just over three and a half hours, so keep it condensed for explaining this, right? But talk him give him some advice. He obviously wants a little bit further. What’s the what’s the script? Uh, the easiest thing God, that’s just drifted, right? The easiest thing is if you’re someone that goes to the driving range, the first thing you need to do is hit more drivers. That’s number one. Okay? It’s like you need to build your body up to be able to withstand and handle your body moving faster, but you also need to get comfortable hitting bad shots when you’re trying to chase speed because you’re not going to middle it every time.

Um so the one thing that you will see is instead of hitting five ball five balls with driver at the end of like your bucket of balls at the range. Yeah.
Hit 15, hit 20.
Okay. like it takes a bit of time.
Yeah.
But it will def defin definitely help. Um but then I mean to break it down in what I do, I’m obviously an extreme example like I’ll do two speed sessions a week going full out, but those will be 40 balls, right?
All with driver as fast as I possibly can.
But I’ll warm up for about 45 minutes between before each session. Yeah.
And it’s just dynamic warm-up. So, I’ll hit three seven irons and then just go straight into driver.
Yeah.
And then just try and leather as hard as possible for 40 balls.
Um, but it also helps me get my body gets into a rhythm where when I start doing that more consistently, then you can start um your central nervous system starts getting used to it and you can start really kind of leaning into a little bit more. Um, I mean, that’s that’s the basically the bare bones of it. So, three to two times a week speed sessions.
Yeah. And then if that goes right a little bit, that could be good. So, you’re talking about speed speed sessions and I’m getting too excited. Um, but yeah, two to three times a week, make sure you’re hitting 40 balls as hard as possible with your driver. you’ll feel knackered, but make sure you’re also leaving 24 to 48 hours.

In terms of like rest, like rest period
in between each speed session as well. Just allow allow your body to recover.
